Gosh they're great!

Gosh, I am really chuffed with my purchase. I treated myself with some burgundy Doctor Martens, and they are great! I was worried when ordering, as not bought from this site before, and the boots were cheaper. So I was worried as to what would arrive. But honestly, I am so pleased! Brand new, perfect! Will buy again.

I was skeptical at first

I was skeptical about receiving my order after reading some of the reviews posted here, but for me, Scorpio Shoes were brilliant.
Got a pair of Doc Martens at a bargain price, delivered two days after ordering. In fantastic condition, with no issues.
Overall positive experience and I would recommend!

Brilliant!

I was hesitant to buy from here due to the reviews posted, but I honestly can’t fault them! Bought some DM sandals I’ve been after for ages, they were cheaper than the office sale, perfect condition and mega fast free tracked delivery with DHL. I will 100% buy from here again, thank you for the amazing service!

Really disappointed with the service

Really disappointed with the service. Bought some amazing boots but they arrived with noticeable scratches. When I contacted them they said they had no more of the boots and the scratches aren't counted as a fault! Said I could return them but I'd be the one paying a hefty postage fee (delivery was £5). They also pointed out that they were 50% off so unable to offer further discount. If shoes are being sold slightly damaged then they should say so. A customer should not be left out of pocket - if I return then I'd still be £10 out of pocket due to postage.

We are very sorry that you are unhappy with the boots that you bought from us.
I have looked at the photographs that you sent us and can see 2 small scratches on the heel (not the leather heel cup/counter but the upper part of the sole). These are not a manufacturing fault but may have occurred in transit.
The boots you bought were the last pair in that style, colour and size so we do not have more stock to exchange them for another pair of the same.
As they were already reduced to half price in our clearance sale, we are unable to make a further reduction but as previously offered, if you wish to return them to us, we will refund you for their cost in full.

DO NOT BUY SHOES FROM SCORPIO SHOES

DO NOT BUY SHOES FROM SCORPIO SHOES, THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.

I bought a pair of Dr Martens boots for £135 and just after 6 months the soles start coming off. So I contacted Scorpio Shoes to request a replacement pair or a refund and this is their reply :-

"...Dear Sir,

I am very sorry that you have a problem with your boots.

Unfortunately, as you bought them over 6 months ago (25.05.22) we are unable to repair them for you.

A good cobbler may be able to do a hot knife repair for you or you may feel able to take it on yourself.
We did have someone who could do this for us (see video here......)

but sadly they are no longer with us.

A bloody joke, do not buy off Scorpio Shoes.

I am amazed Scorpio say they provide good customer service and keep their customers happy, because it's obvious other customers haven't experienced a £135 pair of boots falling apart with little use and I do hope they don't because Scorpio Shoes don't care. Most annoyed customers can't be bothered to write bad reviews and most will shop elsewhere instead and not warn future customers NOT to buy of Scorpio Shoes.

SCORPIO SHOES YOU ARE CRAP & I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU FAIL SOON.

We are very sorry that this customer is unhappy but his boots were not faulted when he bought them.

The issue he describes appears to have developed during the 9 months wear prior to him contacting us.

Scorpio works within legislation under ‘The Consumer Rights Act 2015’ and our response was in line with this.

We appreciate that we cannot please everyone, every time and there are some complaints that we have to refuse; unfortunately, this was one of them.

Our responses to this customer were polite, however, he chose to threaten us to try and get the result he wanted

“if I don’t get a replacement pair sent within the next two weeks, I will be taking legal action against Scorpio Shoes and putting as many bad reviews on-line about Scorpio Shoes as possible”
“Just a gentle reminder that you only have until TUESDAY the 7th March to send me replacement boots or refund ……. before I start giving you the bad reviews “
“Scorpio Shoes you are crap at customer service and keeping your customers happy”

Scorpio does try and provide good customer service and keep our customers happy and the number of returning customers we have would seem to show that we are successful at this the majority of the time. We hope that our lovely, loyal customers will not be deterred from shopping with us based on this customers review.

I've purchased 2 pairs of shoes from Scorpio shoes. Both times been mega impressed with delivery and customer service.

Bought a pair of Doc Martens for about…

Bought a pair of Doc Martens for about £180. Zip broke just after 6 Months. They would not replace as the warranty was only valid for 6 months. I was offered the opportunity to buy another pair at half price. £90 for 6 months of wear was poor value, furthermore if I were to take that offer, my original boots would not be returned. Doc Martens themselves offer a 1 year warranty so if scorpio had ordered them from there, they could have availed themselves of that warranty. I declined to pay another £90, no point throwing good money after bad. Should have just ordered them directly from Doc Martens, they would have replaced them.

Follow up to response.
The shoes were not well worn. Keep in mind this was during lockdown, when most people were not going out, so little opportunity to wear down the sole. Furthermore, I only expected to have the same level of warranty on the shoes as DM themselves provide.

Regardless of wear, one would reasonably expect that at £180 for a pair of boots, the zip would last longer than 6 months, wouldn't you?

"Saying the zip was broken"? It was actually broken! Why cast doubt on that?
Yes, I'm the father of the person who bought them with student discount. Why is that relevant?

The customer bought a pair of Dr Martens boots using her student discount and returned them over 6 months later saying that the zip on one of them had broken and wanted another pair in exchange. The boots were very well worn on sole and heel with scratched uppers. As it was over six months since purchase we were not under any obligation to do anything and could have just refused the customer's complaint. However, we went above the statutory requirements and offered a 50% refund on what she had paid to go towards another pair of boots/shoes. When the manager contacted the customer with this offer she seemed happy with the decision and accepted the offer. Later the customer's father contacted us; he was not happy with the offer and after several conversations he refused our offer on his daughter's behalf

Great Customer service team

I ordered a wrong size but they processed the exchange quickly and delivered in 2 days.
I would also like to thank the team for the lovely handwritten message I found inside the parcel.
I will take care of my new shoes and am happy buy from them again.

Horrendous customer service,Shoes far too small, won’t refund .don’t have the shoes wanted for exchange. Shoes returned over 7 days ago . No contact, No shoes,No exchange and No refund! Buyers beware ! I will never use this company again.

We received your returned boots some weeks outside of our returns period. As per our terms and conditions, we were unable to process a full refund, but an exchange or e-wallet credit was offered. You chose an exchange however it was something that we did not have in stock in the size you wanted. We politely explained that the product chosen had not been available since December 2020 and we would not be getting any further stock. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide an exchange for a product that we do not have or for something we are unable to order more stock.

Following several emails between us, we messaged you again on March 31st 2021 at 1:08PM again offering an exchange or e-wallet credit (this offer has no expiry date). If you prefer, you could have your returned boots sent back to you. We did not receive a reply from you and your return is being kept safe in our warehouse until we receive a response with your preference.

We feel we have provided excellent customer service for a returned item that was well outside of our returns period and offered an exchange or e-wallet credit that we do not have to under our terms and conditions.

Initially contacted for support, thought my order had been lost, however received good, clear and prompt information that sharp cleared everything up. Absolutely lush shoes, super comfy and exactly as they where online. Love will return!!

I recently bought a size 4 black…

I recently bought a size 4 black paitent pods. They were a little tight, so I took them to my local shoe menders for stretching, they now fit perfectly. They are well padded inside, and comfortable.
