School Uniform Direct. Worst customer experience of all time
By far the worst customer experience I have had in years. Tried to return my daughter's uniform that she never wore but explained to them in advance my daughter had in her excitement, removed the tags.
I arrived at North End Road shop to be frightened immediately by their manager called Glynis who was being haughty, overbearing and downright mean to the lady in front of me, who left nearly in tears. It was not a good start. Sorry, but Glynis is a saucy old retainer who was flexing her muscles for a sense of power. It was terrifying to witness.
Then came my turn. Glynis dismantled me. She randomly took back half the items but not the rest, while her colleague looked in slack jawed in the corner, almost as if my angst was her entertainment for the day. I was subtly accused of lying. Her direct words were: "Yes, all our customers tell the truth". It was astonishingly bad.
I suggested to her that since my daughter never wore the items, perhaps it was the quality of the garment that was poor in the first place. I too left as frustrated as the woman ahead of me. I complained to head office, was asked to return the remaining items and shockingly, Josephine there told me there were "markings" in it. Well if that was the case, they were there before I bought them.
No corporate responsibility, no respect for the customer, a lousy, cramped musty shop that looked like a 1950's warehousing outlet, staff that accuse their customers of lying, a premium price for rubbish products, with staff needing either to retrain or retire! Horrible. Avoid at all costs unless you want to be made felt like a lying petty thief. 3 kids And gone through many outfitters. This one, deffo no
