Disgusting service..I paid for signed…

Disgusting service.I paid for "signed on delivery" to the swap out old stamps Royal mail address.
The post person took my money and I repeated my email several times for my receipt. I decided to pay extra in delivery to prove the stamps had arrived at the R.M.swap out address.
Weeks later I've not heard anything.
No email confirmation of delivery.
I only have photos of the stamps I sent.
So I'm out of pocket and can't see how I can get a refund for a terrible service.
Appalling service.

Not fit for purpose

@royalmail you have one job. So why in my town in Kent does the mail come once a fortnight? You are not fit for purpose. Effectively the national mail service has ceased to exist. Fire all the managers, AI is coming for them anyway

let down by their experience overall. we've reported significant issues with delivery services, including parcels not arriving, being delayed, or false delivery attempts where no one was home despite customers being present.. seems a pattern and is it hard to mess it up - after all its your job!

You don't get the service you pay for.

Once again I pay for a delivery on a specific day and once again I get texts giving me a time slot. I wait in all day then they send some vague text telling me they were unable to attempt delivery when my time slot hasn't even elapsed. In short they couldn't be bothered to deliver but they want the seller to think you weren't home and it's your fault so they keep using this awful company.

I've had guaranteed day deliveries marked as 'no access to property' as they didn't want to deliver to my street that day as well. My friend was most upset the birthday card she ordered for me online didn't arrive on the day she paid for.

Finding out that this dishonest lot are handling my delivery always gives me that sinking feeling. I would rather they used yodel or Hermes or whatever they go by these days. The driver may rock up in a 20 year old Mondeo that smells very... agricultural but at least you get what you pay for.

Royal Mail. The most expensive courier but somehow also the most unreliable of all.

Royal Mail were to deliver a parcel…

Royal Mail were to deliver a parcel yesterday, I checked why it had not been delivered and it stated that delivery was attempted twice, I checked my camera which records constantly, and surprise, my gate had never been opened on the times of both occasions, in fact no post person walked past my gate all day.

Dartford delivery office are useless…

Dartford delivery office are useless and disgusting, rebooked delivery for a Saturday and no show, wasted so much money on p&p just for me to go and get it. Royal Mail should reimburse customers for not bothering to deliver and do their jobs

The parcel I sent for next day delivery…

The parcel I sent for next day delivery at temple fortune was not delivered. After 3 days I went to find out what had happened.
The 2 guys who were working there on Saturday afternoon were extremly rude and offensive. I was shocked by their incompetance and rudeness.Unfortunately
this was not the first time .

Incredibly incompetent to say the least.

I sent an order back for a refund, it was a pair of sandals, lightweight, within the small parcel measurements and the correct postage had been paid.
The parcel got blocked at the delivery depot, they said I had paid the incorrect postage. They kept it for 18 days, then they sent it back to my local depot. After a few days I received a card asking me to pay an additional £3.60 fee. I attached £3.80 worth of stamps as the option stated on the card. A few days later the card returned without stamps, so I had to pay again. In the meantime I had gone to the depot to collect my parcel but found it closed due to staff shortages. The day the parcel was finally due for delivery, they pretended to have attempted the delivery while in fact they hadn’t. This saga has been going on for about six weeks and the window for the return and refund of my sandals has expired, so Royal Mail have actually caused me a considerable loss . It is not the first time I experience this sort of problem with Royal Mail. Hopeless and impossible to communicate with.

As soon as I realise the seller is using Royal Mail I feel like I should just cancel order as it’s either going take weeks to get delivered after there “failed delivery attempts” that have never occurred or it will be sent to as they describe “the Chinese warehouse” waste of time

Changing delivery date

The problem I have is not with Royal Mail general service but their useless app. I changed the delivery date from a Saturday (as not at home) to a Monday, got a confirmation and guess what they delivered on Saturday. Left it on my door. Not even an attempt to re- deliver. What is the point of having delivery options on the app?

No letters delivered here for over a week

No letters delivered here (Croydon, London, which is civilisation and not the Isle of Skye for goodness sake) for over a week now. Birthday cards posted first class more than 10 days' ago and vital hospital details put in the post on 6July still not arrived. Plus the Jewish Chronicle two weeks' late. This is an appalling service. What's going on? Tell me.

Too hot for their 💩

They've had a parcel at Tynemouth MC of mine for 4 days now and hour away. They are beyond useless. Fed up of having to chase parcels. When you say it's on 48 hr tracked, oh well that's not guaranteed, but they charge extra for the privilege, then she goes on to say , the only guaranteed is special delivery, yeah it is for a premium and even thats been garbage at times. So why bother paying extra for 24 or 48 hour tracked ???? Greed and a useless service EDIT Monday 13th... Still stuck there this is a joke. No accountability just more excuses

Useless once again, no longer fit for purpose!

I waited around for my parcel most of the day. I'm sitting right by the PC where the email pings saying they 'tried to deliver', yeh right! I even have the door open as it's crazy hot. Thinking they can't have got far, there's nobody there or in the street getting back in their van. What a joke...

What a rubbish service given a 4 hour…

What a rubbish service given a 4 hour tracked delivery window for medical supplies not received after 6 hours, this is a disgraceful service from a foreign billionaire which is more interested in his wallet than providing a service to the British people.

Royal Mail

Royal Mail: Where Reality Is Optional ⭐☆☆☆☆

Royal Mail deserves an award for creative storytelling.

Day 1: "We attempted delivery."
Interesting. Shame my neighbour—who is home all day and usually takes my parcels—never got the chance.

Day 2: "Incorrectly addressed. Returning to sender."

So let me get this straight... yesterday you found my house well enough to attempt delivery, but overnight my address mysteriously transformed into an undiscovered civilization?

At this point, Royal Mail tracking isn't a tracking service—it's an episodic drama with unexpected plot twists.

I'm convinced "Delivery Attempted" has become the British equivalent of "The dog ate my homework." It's the excuse that can apparently explain absolutely anything.

Maybe next we'll see:

"Parcel delayed due to excessive weather... indoors."
"Driver was emotionally unavailable."
"Address temporarily moved to another dimension."
"Delivery attempted between 2:14 and 2:15 AM. You weren't in."

New joke:
Royal Mail says, "We attempted delivery."

Attempted what, exactly? Because it certainly wasn't delivering the parcel.

I'd laugh if I wasn't still waiting for it.

lying about deliveries

they constantly lie when they are unable to deliver parcels, they mark it as 'attempted delivery but no one was in' this is completely false as i checked footage from my ring doorbell and no one showed up, how is that even allowed? ridiculous inefficient company, close down already
