I'm pretty disgusted

I'm pretty disgusted, I was due a parcel to be delivered yesterday which has to be refrigerated, when delivered before they left outside my flat door, this time they didn't, just received my parcel and it was warm when it's meant yo be kept cold! Also was due another parcel to be delivered, had a message to say they had tried earlier, not sure why they did not leave at my front door, it does not need to be signed for, there is reason why we have a tradesman entry to flats!

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service from a once great company that you could rely on. Had no post for over 2 weeks in CT18, I’m waiting for important documents and still no sign of them arriving anytime soon. You’ll be lucky if you even see a postie around here anymore.

Royal Mail tracking service is rubbish

Royal Mail tracking service is rubbish. SPORTSBIKESHOP sent my parcel to them 16:45 on Monday 13/07/2026, but todate Royal Mail has not logged the parcel into their system. No tracking reference means they can delay to "delivery-on-our-time" not within the 2 working days promised by SPORTSBIKESHOP, yet my previous order WAS delivered by DPD within the hour specified!

Absolutely useless now

Absolutely useless now, and getting worse. First class letters up to a month late, often post just never arrives. RM blame it on too many parcels being delivered, after saying they cut services because people weren't posting parcels!!
Nationalise it and put it back to how it was when it worked, stop prioritising your shareholders and (mis)management.
Royal Mail, you're just embarrassing now.

i only left one star because i cant leave none. Royal Mail is a joke, pay to send a letter tracked but they can only track it once delivered and then 14 days after sending it they still haven't even tried to deliver it, but hey don't worry you can try and claim your money back. its ridiculous.

Live in a maisonette block..they used to deliver on a morning where they could access trade button...now anyone's guess what time..also parcel said cut off time 10.55am..still waiting at 12.55.To access the block they have to buzz on someone's intercom and had to complain as always mine.Surely logistically this will not work for future deliveries.Im disabled as well so don't want intercom to be buzzed if mail is not for me.Also had 30 min wait on phone and they cut me off.

Inconsiderate Postman

I have a post box outside my home, and two huge signs "Do not knock - leave parcel in porch." I have an autistic son and the noise of the post coming through the letter box causes a meltdown. I have told the Postman this. He insists on using the letter-box. He smiles when he sees the trauma it causes! This can't be right. I have now sealed the letter-box to keep this moron out!

Royal Mail please help me to understand how a parcel collected from a store in. Newport South Wales bound for delivery to an address in Newport South Wales was then sent to Cardiff SO to then be sent to Cwmbran SO to then be returned to Cardiff SO and STILL no sight of delivery to the address in Newport. Is it any wonder you are running at a loss! I have never seen anything so ridiculous!

Something is on the Horizon

Something is on the Horizon, oh yes it's Royal Mails inept service and system.

I posted an item through my local branch, it never appeared on the tracking system. Nothing. I've tried to get a refund but Royal Mail don't want to know. I've lost £45 and despite me paying £6 for tracked delivery because their system works worse than Nigel Farages publicity manager (vote for Binface) I lose money.

Gahh, does anyone own any pigeons as I'm considering using some. Has to be an improvement on the current system

I am extremely disgusted and disappointed with the…

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Royal Mail. This has been one of the worst delivery experiences I have ever had.

It has now been over 10 business days, and my small parcel still has not been delivered. The tracking updates have been confusing, inconsistent, and completely unacceptable. I was first informed that my parcel had been delivered to the wrong address and then retrieved. I was then told it was being resent. This entire situation should never have happened, especially when the delivery instructions were straightforward and clearly provided.

The lack of professionalism, care, and attention to detail is shocking. A parcel should not be delivered to the wrong address in the first place, and customers should not be left waiting for weeks while mistakes are corrected. Throughout this process, I have been left frustrated, inconvenienced, and without any confidence that my parcel will ever arrive.

What makes this experience even worse is the poor communication and the apparent lack of urgency in resolving the issue. Customers pay for a reliable delivery service, not for excuses, delays, and avoidable errors.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Royal Mail to anyone. If you need a dependable courier service, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. A company responsible for delivering people’s important parcels should be able to follow simple delivery instructions and provide timely, accurate service. Unfortunately, Royal Mail has failed to meet even these basic expectations.

I sincerely hope Royal Mail takes responsibility for these failures and significantly improves its delivery standards, customer service, and accountability so that other customers do not have to go through the same frustrating experience.

I don't trust Royal Mail

For years I have experienced consistently poor service from Royal Mail, but the handling of my temperature-sensitive injectable medication has convinced me to share my experience publicly.

Delivery estimates have repeatedly proven unreliable. Parcels rarely arrive within the stated delivery window, and on multiple occasions the postman has not rung the doorbell or knocked, despite me being at home. Instead, a "Something for You" card is posted through the letterbox claiming I was unavailable. These cards have sometimes contained no useful reference number or tracking information, making it extremely difficult to arrange redelivery or collection. I have also noticed occasions where the time written on the card was inaccurate, even recording a time that had not yet occurred.

The most serious issue, however, concerns the handling of my refrigerated injectable medication. These medicines must be kept within strict temperature conditions to remain safe and effective. One delivery arrived approximately 48 hours late during hot summer weather, and the medication was warm to the touch upon arrival. I immediately informed my pharmacy. After administering one of the injections, I became seriously unwell and contacted NHS 111 on three consecutive days. Based on my symptoms and the circumstances surrounding the delivery, I was advised that the medication may have been compromised because it had not been stored at the required temperature.

I submitted a formal complaint to Royal Mail detailing these events. The response I received was an automated acknowledgement that provided no meaningful information about my complaint, no indication that the matter was being investigated, and came from a no-reply email address, making it impossible to respond or seek further clarification.

To make matters worse, my pharmacy also attempted to raise the issue directly with Royal Mail but was unable to obtain a satisfactory investigation or response.

After years of repeated problems, I have made the difficult decision to stop using my preferred online pharmacy solely because I no longer trust Royal Mail to deliver essential medication safely. No one should have to worry that a life-sustaining, temperature-sensitive medicine may arrive in an unsafe condition due to failures in the delivery process.

This experience has left me with no confidence in Royal Mail's ability to handle medical deliveries responsibly. When a delivery service is entrusted with medication that directly affects people's health, reliability and accountability are not optional—they are essential.

Trowbridge delivery office in Wiltshire…

Trowbridge delivery office in Wiltshire are completely incompetent. Despite being in waiting for this important package, you decided on Monday that the parcel wasn’t able to be delivered but with no explanation and today (Tuesday) it now says on the tracking that delivery couldn’t be completed due to accessibility issues??? What the hell does that even mean? It’s funny that all my neighbours managed to come and go throughout the day and my wife got to the house without any issues so this is a load of bull s**t as usual. Just lazy delivery drivers making up stuff to justify not delivering packages in my opinion.
Royal Mail and Parcel force should change their names to Royal Fail and Parcel Farce!
An embarrassment to our country in every sense.
Our government has to step in and take this archaic establishment out of service. Not fit for purpose and a complete failure in every avenue.
I think Trump could run Royal Mail better and that’s saying something.
