Can't we mark zero stars?

Can't we mark zero stars? . Total rubbish service no wonder Evri is prefered choice - I arranged to return a parcel, it took me 5 times to rebook collection as they never turned up I even called in person to be assured they would come next day. I had booked a week off work so ensured id be home, whole time was wasted staying home instead of enjoying time off work. In the end I gave up and took to the local Evri office. Today i recieved a letter apologising, and get this they said they'd informed their parcel collect to be more careful in the future. Best laugh Ive had all day. Basically nothing will change. Ive wasted a weeks holiday being stuck at home , I'm fuming and will NEVER EVER use royal mail parcel collect again!

Brilliant!

I am very satisfied with Royal Mail’s services, both for receiving and sending parcels. Although the service can be expensive, I still prefer to send and receive my parcels with Royal Mail because I feel there is a greater level of security and reliability. However, I do not agree with the current process for collecting a parcel, where you need to bring ID and also fill in a paper form. I believe this creates unnecessary paperwork and costs for Royal Mail, while also increasing waiting times and queues for customers. This has been one of the few negative aspects of my experience. I think it would be much simpler and more efficient if a QR code were generated for parcel collection, which could simply be scanned at the counter. Apart from this, I am very happy with the service. Thank you for your reliable service. Thanks!🤝🥂

A RIGHT ROYAL MESS

A well deserved Trustpilot score for a shockingly bad service. As I have to award one star, let it be for my lovely posties who are in no way responsible for the shambles that is Royal Mail. Two bad experiences of late but no more.
A Birthday parcel sent by 48 hours tracked from Shadwell Post Office on 10th July Fast forward to 16th July, my daughter’s Birthday and it can be tracked to Shadwell Post Office. Not even collected after 6 days. After a number of failed attempts to speak to someone on the number provided, I got through to an agent who told me that the 48 hours is an aim and will not be addressed for 10 days until 21st July (I make that 11) So not 48 hours but 240 hours. Apparently it’s fine and in the small print.
She recently had her Father’s Day card to her Dad confiscated and a fine issued a week later as there wasn’t a barcode on the stamp. Thousands of stamps were cancelled for our own good obviously and Royal Mail saw huge increases in income from the stamps that most people wrote off rather than fill in forms to exchange them. Not to mention the vast amount of revenue from fines for each one unknowingly sent.
Hundreds of Thousands of pounds for the shareholders. All seems very unfair to me and so I have made the decision to not use them any more. Royal, my foot! 🤣

One star is too much for a company that…

One star is too much for a company that routinely doesn't deliver to an address. I've watched them outside, park long enough to log the GPS as being in the right area and then just drive off - no attempt to deliver or anything. They refuse to acknowledge the opening hours, most likely so they don't have to actually do any work and if you ask for a redelivery, it just goes back to the delivery office for the customer to collect. Why not just have that as the only option rather than the having staff to deliver??? Useless lot. Utterly useless.

Constant Delays, Zero Accountability

Royal Mail’s service has become completely unacceptable. As a business owner, I’ve had countless parcels take over 30 days to arrive. By that point, I’ve already had to refund customers or send replacement orders because no reasonable customer is going to wait a month for their purchase.

The worst part is that because the parcel eventually gets marked as “delivered”, Royal Mail refuses compensation, even though the delay has already cost me money. Businesses are left to absorb the financial loss while Royal Mail takes no accountability for an appalling service.

Delays happen, but waiting over a month for deliveries has become far too common. The lack of reliability and the refusal to compensate businesses for these failures is simply not good enough.

My compliments

I would like to compliment a specific worker called Emma. Always on time & excellent sense of humour. Royal Mail has served me from day one and they are the best postal service I know.

Best in business

After ringing, the postal worker patiently waited for me to get to the door. On opening, he was pleasant & polite, & explained what he required from me to complete the delivery. The package was handled with care.
This is in stark contrast to what l have have recently experienced from other delivery services, so l would wholeheartedly recommend the Royal Mail.

Poor service and behaviours

Delivery was due Sunday as going away Monday. RM had parcel and didn't deliver it. Went to a neighbour instead. Son had a delivery today, I signed for it. Postman left the large parcel on doorstep and didn't say anything. I had to step over it to get out of front door onto drive to lift it. It was very heavy, at no point did he say 'it's heavy mind' or 'here I will lift it' and then hand it to me. Just left me too it. They really don't seem to care how poor their service is and prefer to go out of their way to be as bad as possible. You deserve the poor rating, it's well earned.

Why can't Royal Mail take accountability for there mistakes?

What is wrong with Royal Mail? BAck and forth on the phone with 2 different sets of advice. I had a tracked return lost and spoke to a team member a week after advising to wait another 5 days then contact them to process a claim. Call back 6 days later as item is still lost and spoke with another team member who advised the company who requested I return my item tracked has to make the claim. This was not what a previous member of staff said. So the company I purchased from, who have already done there job now need to CHASE ROYAL MAIL. It is so backwards and I am so disappointed in this process and lack of accountability from Royal Mail. I avoid using them already, and this is a big reason why.
This item is a medical test that has now meant I have had to stop treatment. A small thing to them to brush under the carpet but a HUGE thing for me that has affected my life.
