Completely untrustworthy. 5/10 is a fresh on this site. Even IGN doesn't think a 5/10 is good. It also prioritises professional critic scores over user scores and often there's a massive disparity bet... See more

I’ll give it the rating I have for one simple reason..you rely on the audience score post screenings. Over a long time it’s obvious the critic scores are not reliable, probably paid reviews. The major... See more

This place is pure woke censorship. They manipulate ratings in favor of woke agenda propaganda. This place is just pure woke sh*t.

Biased and rigged.

Biased and rigged.
Woke garbage will get promoted and genuine truths are relegated into obscurity.
They removed my account without even notifying me, silence the truth...
This site is truly rotten

I'll give it to stars because even a broken clock is right twice a day. As with many websites and institutions it's been ideologically possessed beyond its original purpose. It was supposed to tell you if a certain product was good based on objective parameters, but one look at the dichotomy between their reviewers' opinions and the general public's will let you know everything you need to know about this website.

Cencorship and Idiocracy

You cannot trust the opinion of the 'selected' critics. The best films according to the 'critics' and the rotten tomatoes team are often the worst by the normal auditory. High percentage of the cencorship

Woke ratings

Rotten Tomatoes manipulates the rating to promote leftist feminism, anti-white racism and alphabet mental illness. They are so deep into wokeness they can’t even see they are hypocrites.

Submit me not

Yep, like others, the submit button when leaving a review does nothing, a technical issue or are they now trying to stop the public leaving unfavourable reviews or something along those lines

My reviews just won't post

My reviews just won't post. I hit submit and, several minutes later, I'm still faced with an endlessly-spinning reticle. All the reviews bashing RT as woke, or out-of-touch, or whatever are predicated on the assumption that most people even *can* post reviews. The site is just broken.

RT brought in woke reviewers for "diversity"

The reviews aren't fake. It has to do with the identity politics of the reviewers.

Chato, who has a YouTube channel and worked in the movie industry, did a video about it.

A couple of years ago, when critic scores closely matched audience scores, Rotten Tomatoes did an internal audit and decided that its reviewers were too white and too male. You know, the kind of people who built Hollywod?

So they brought in diversity, quota reviewers who know nothing about great moviemaking and only care about pushing their narrative.

The same woke crowd making the lousy movies is now reviewing them.

No, Rotten Tomatoes can no longer be trusted. I no longer use it as a resource, only as an example of whats wrong with American culture.

Never trust rotten tomatoes

Feels like these paid reviewers have no dignity in their job... They overpraise all those trash movies meanwhile real movie fans dislike it, that's why they lost all credibility... real movie watchers never trust this lame website.

I have seen the reviews of Rotten…

I have seen the reviews of Rotten Tomatoe. Based on the majority of their reviews, I myself do not pay them any attention when I am deciding what movie to watch as 98% of the movie I love, they given a very low rating. 99 % of the movies I did not care for, they gave very high ratings. Therefore, I find Rotten Tomatoe to be extremely useless in determining what movies are good or bad. What movies I should watch or not watch.

Plus, I have never cared for movie credits as they generally have absolutely no real experience in the entertainment business, so how can they honestly make a living off of rate movies, TV shows, ect.

That goes the same for any credit. I just do not bother with them.

For example, Rotten Tomatoe gave this wonderful, positive movie 40% rating: The Girl Who Believed In Miracles.

Now, I am not really religious, but I do have faith in a higher power. I most definitely believe in Miracles as well as have faith. Especially in these trying time in America; across the world. We all can use a bit of inspiration, so I do not in the foggiest understand how Rotten Tomatoe can rate this wonderful and uplifting movie a 40%

As I stated above, Rotten Tomatoe has absolutely no bearing on my movie selection!!!

Fake accounts

I find it strange that so many shows and movies have myriads of 10/10 reviews from users that has only posted one review ever.

Literally don't allow real people to review movies. I tried several times and get email verification sent and it just puts me in an endless loop, I emailed them and they have never replied. The site is fraud. Compare ratings to IMBD it’s very clear.
