Hmm I did a review for One Call…
Hmm I did a review for One Call Insurance which in this instance I gave them 5 stars for being so good. This went to reviews.io. To me that was that. However the next thing I get in my inbox was a message from them wanting me to verify my review? So I clicked on the link to be confronted with a form that made no sense to me. So I contacted reviews.io and after a very long winded conversation found out all they wanted from me was the date of my review. Very strange. If I was a company I would not go anywhere near them. Stick with Trustpilot is what I say to all companies looking for genuine reviews.
They don't publish real reviews
They don't publish real reviews - the reviews for a terrible service I used came under url subheading 'store' and none of the reviews were specific to that company.
Title: Beware of York Direct Windows - Disappointing Experience
Title: Beware of York Direct Windows - Disappointing Experience
Review:
I regret to share my disappointing experience with York Direct Windows. I purchased two windows, a French door, and a bathroom door from them on 22/11/2023. Despite promises of delivery within two weeks, the items arrived late on 19/01/2024. The windows were faulty, lacking essential parts for installation, and promises to rectify the issues were not fulfilled.

Furthermore, they did not deliver the rest of the order even after 3 months. Additionally, they repeatedly broke promises, lied, and provided excuses instead of addressing the issues. Attempts to contact them were often futile, as they were either unreachable or failed to respond to messages. When they did respond, it was with new lies and excuses.
I caution others against York Direct Windows due to their failure to deliver on promises, provide quality products, and maintain honesty and integrity in their dealings.

I don’t think Trustpilot is impartial- clearly paid by some companies like Octopus Energy to not post negative reviews. This is misleading the general public and undermines current customers experiences as well as misleads potential new customers.
Misleading to customers
A company did some work for me then asked me to review them through reviews.io which I did. After a few months realised the work was bad but there is no way of editing or removing your review. Companies pay Reviews.io and they only publish top reviews so a customer thinks wow this company has only 5 star reviews! Don’t believe any company with reviews.io testimonials on its website.
Happy with my two dresses.....
Yeah....I received my te dresses today. I am happy with the two dresses. Quality is polyester, but i knew. Lovely colours and it looks beautiful.
Scam site
Scam site, absolutely not reliable. Impossible to leave opinions unless the company allows and pays it, because yes, companies must pay for opinions on this site

all features for a growing company
A bit costly, but I really like their helpful support and how awesome their platform is overall. The website is easy to use and packed with features. Their customer service is fantastic, and I'm happy to be using review.io. It's even better than I expected. It's strange that none of the reviews here talk about the features, how well it works with other stuff, how you can customize things, or how bug-free their WordPress plugin is. Highly recommended. I remember a time when we had an issue with showing blank stars on the website and these guys launched a new feature to cater for it.
Run for the hills
My interaction with reviews.io is through a third party who used reviews.io to run their survey. The results were definitely slanted away from negative reviews and when I queried this from the 3rd party, they went on the attack, and the resolution was that my money was reimbursed. I don't know if this 3rd party is naive or using a recognised review company that can make them look good. Either way, my considered advice to all concerned is don't trust surveys run by review io. Check them out, check out the comments and run for the hills.

They are fake!
As nowhere else online (believe me I've trawled for hours) and they are all aparantly good ones! Very fishy. Oh yeah you can only put good reviews on it! Ha ha.
Tried to write a review and they said I wasn't trusted
Tried to write a review for a website I had a bad experience with and they said I wasn't trusted and would have to submit a second review for some second unrelated site. I also thought it was weird that their submission form asked me if the website I had an experience with asked for the review and wanted me to paste a copy of the email i received from them in the form. its a fake review site
Scam reviews
Reviews.io is a scam site
Reviews.io is a scam site. They do nothing to validate if the reviews are by genuine customers so companies are able to pump up their ratings.
I've contacted them about such a company Hazelton's Gift Baskets and they told me reviews are unfiltered with no checks and balances.
Hazelton's are poorly rated on TrustPilot and Yelp. They were also pulled by Google for rigging their reviews.
Reviews.io is nothing more than a facilitator of fraud.
Like everyone said
Like everyone said, a scam review company - they ask if you are submitting a negative or positive review in order to send the link!
When its negative no link sent! Clearly a paid for review site in order for scam companies to collect reviews to scam other people!
Needs closing down!
Customer service is the worst on the…
Customer service is the worst on the market. They send reviews requests/links to the "customers" without the Company being aware of it. Then they refuse to delete/moderate the review even when the review uses profanity language. This is not a service we will ever use again.
Suppress negative reviews to artificially boost ratings
Twice tried to write a negative review for a poor product, and review not published (no email to explain rejection reason etc, just vanished into thin air). If you look at the websites and products it holds reviews for, all have a suspiciously high number of 5 star reviews, and barely any poor ones. All I can assume is that they suppress poor reviews to artificially inflate ratings. The company and any websites that use their services are therefore completely untrustworthy and best avoided.
ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND.
ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Make sure to review all the points below based on our recent experiences with the Reviews.io & Influence.io platform before considering a switch, in order to save both time and money.
1. We have encountered a significant lack of understanding regarding the impact of their loyalty program on our revenue. It has been challenging for us to evaluate how customers who have joined our loyalty program are affecting our income. It is crucial to note that this is a feature that their competitors already offer, and it is one that we have actively sought on the platforms.
2. Another issue we have come across is the inability to edit email templates and insert links to our website when communicating with customers through the Reviews & Influence platform. They only promote their own platform, so as a brand, you do not even have the option to add a clickable email header with your website logo. Furthermore, each template contains their branding, which cannot be hidden.
3. Additionally, we experienced a delay in the onboarding process. Despite promises of a smooth and timely setup, our accounts were not fully set up until mid-September (the process started in August), causing a significant delay in our ability to fully utilize the applications.
4. The subscription cost MUST include the option to export reviews. Review.io is the first platform where we have encountered issues with this feature. We initially purchased the Pro Plan, but before downgrading the subscription, we were not notified about this rule. To export our data, their team suggested us to purchase the Pro Plan again.
5. Lastly, we have noticed a lack of summary and feedback after our calls with the support team. It is crucial for us to have a clear understanding of the discussions and decisions made during these interactions. Despite requesting a follow-up letter after the call, nobody sends one, and we have to contact multiple times to gain a clear understanding of the points being worked on regarding our case.
Сonclusion:
The functionality of the plans does not match the market price, there is no detailed reporting on the impact of their application on your profitability, reviews moderation is difficult and the support team does not prepare for your calls to improve the results on the platform and only promises to pass information to other departments.
Reviews.io sells fakes reviews to shady companies!
Reviews.io is a scam. They are used to promote other scam websites and they use paid reviews to boost illegitimate claims for websites that practice shady business. Do not trust anything from this website. They have clearly tried to use paid reviews here as well to try and disparage Trust Pilot and boost their own “service”. You can literally scroll down a little further on Google (past all their pid for BS) and see ads to literally buy ads from them. DO NOT TRUST!
