Raine & Horne Wentworth Falls (Rentals)…

Raine & Horne Wentworth Falls (Rentals) couldn't be nicer and a joy to work with. Grateful for their professionalism and interpersonal skills. Thank you MB!
Absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to find their new home or home owners looking for property managers. By far my best experience with any real estate.

Choosing Raine & Horne Vacation Homes…

Choosing Raine & Horne Vacation Homes turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes of my stay in Dubai.

From the very beginning, communication was inconsistent and resolving even simple issues became unnecessarily complicated. Whenever I raised legitimate concerns, I rarely felt that they were genuinely acknowledged. Instead of focusing on finding solutions, I often had the impression that my complaints were minimized, reinterpreted, or redirected rather than addressed directly.

As a guest, you expect professionalism, transparency, and accountability. Unfortunately, I experienced the opposite. The customer service felt reactive rather than proactive, and I frequently had to chase for updates or explanations. This created unnecessary stress during what should have been a straightforward rental.

The overall impression I was left with is that once the booking is secured, customer satisfaction is no longer a priority. A company should be judged by how it handles problems, not only when everything goes well. In my case, that aspect was deeply disappointing.

Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Raine & Horne Vacation Homes and I would strongly encourage future guests to carefully read the contract, keep written records of every communication, and document the condition of the property throughout their stay.

A costly mistake

It was a costly mistake to appoint Farha of Raine & Horne Ingleburn as the agent to sell my home. It was months of poor performance and no result. My clearly written complaints were ignored, my trust was betrayed and any attempt to discuss positive changes morphed into more pushing to lower the price. Farha is accomplished at brushing complaints aside and turning them into something completely different taking no accountability for lack of performance and blaming any relevant or irrelevant outside influences that could be dredged up as well as a good dose of blaming me and the house. She refused to discuss or even acknowledge several issues I raised to such a degree that I have had to consult legal advisors. Not recommended.

Overcharging

We rented an apartment for 1 month in Dubai. They had to come 6 times to fix and clean things we found around the apartment during that time. At the end, they charged more things than what was written in the contract (out of DEWA or Chiller), they wanted to charge us with the sewage and housing taxes from the apartment. On top of it, we had to make a second payment as our first one had intermediary commissions, but then when they paid us back the rest of the deposit, their bank charged them commissions and they refused to send a second transfer to fully give back the deposit. I do not recommend this company.

Raine & Horne Bankstown now T/A Wakim Realty Unprofessional and not complaint with the Residential Tenancies Act 2010

I could never recommend this Real Estate agent to any prospective tenant or ever rent any property through them again, for a number of very good reasons. They are not always selective in whom they rent owners properties to.We have been renting a 2 bed granny flat in Alan Street, Yagoona, through them for nearly two years. The tenants in the house in front of us have the same estate agent. They often leave rubbish, cigarette butts, skateboards, bicycles and toys in the driveway. The shrubs growing on the side of the lower part of the driveway are not cut back. Visitors to the main house often block the entrance to the drive way. Rubbish and food waste, which was not recyclable, was put in our recycling bin. Visitors often arrive in cars hooting early morning and late evening. They also installed a very bright halogen light in their back garden which they had on for no reason late at night and it totally light up our lounge after dark. It is blinding but that is minor compared to the excessive level of noise we are regularly subjected to. There is incessant high pitched shrieking, screaming, shouting and foul language. Toys and balls are thrown from the trampoline in their garden, which was 1 metre from our lounge, at the adjoining fences, smashed onto the driveway, thrown at our flat, onto our roof and at our car, which is parked at the top of the drive way. One toy hit our car windscreen and cracked it, causing us very expensive windscreen replacement. On two other occasions our car was damaged by a skateboard. The noise often goes on until 11:30pm at night. The tenants in the main house do not appear to be have been made aware of the clause in the residential tenancy lease that clearly states that no disturbance to other tenants is permitted by anyone at any time. This includes visitors and their children. This Real Estate agent did not make them aware of this fact or if they did it fell on deaf ears, despite our numerous complaints. The excessive noise continues to this day. This Real Estate agent did not find this unacceptable and destructive behaviour abnormal and failed to fulfill their legal obligation to address the issue satisfactorily. Their solution was to try to get us to move out so that they did not have to address the matter and we had to have it settled by a Tribunal, who found in our favour. Despite this, this agent is still in breach of their contract, which means we have to apply for another hearing. The only reason we have not moved out long before now is due to very poor health. This agent does not comply with the Laws written in to the Residential Tenancies Act 2010 and I find the manner in which they conduct themselves to be deplorable.
