this is a continuation of my review titled absolute rubbish! I tried to cancel my subscription on line having been told it was definately sent and they checked all my details including my password. Guess what again on line I was told my password was incorrect! I telephoned again and they confirmed it was correct. So I have cancelled my subscription by telephone and insisted they confirmed by email which they did. Let us wait and see if they do and send me a promised rebate as agreed but I doubt it!

Truly terrible service. There seems to be no link between the price and the number of copies received. The payment dates keep changing. No-one replies to emails. I had 2 direct debits taken, supposedly for 6 months, in the same week. This reflects badly on the Radio Times, can they not change the subscriptions management company.
Update after the reply: the situation was resolved.

Radio Times Shop deliveries delayed for weeks, continually fobbed off by customer services, daily promises of the product being "delivered by tomorrow".
Claims of supplier issues with no updates passed on to customers, leaving them clueless and in the dark.

Awful. So far, impossible to cancel subscription, online form refuses to accept my subscriber number, utter lack of any response from their subscription service provider after 6 emails.

I pre ordered the 2023/24 Christmas double edition weeks ahead of publication, with excited to review and ‘circle’ essential viewing. 😉
Never arrived even within two weeks of stated arrival. Their ‘advice’ for this and when to contact was not good. Contact and they say to give a couple more days.
I left it so long then gave up! They did refund me. No suggestion of any ‘goodwill’ for the inconvenience. I went out and bought a tv listing from a local supermarket, which is what I should have done in the first place.
Never again will I advance order!
It’s now 24th January, and my Christmas Ed has STILL never, ever, arrived.
So sad!
And people wonder why published printed media is on the decline, including subscriptions where they post each edition to the customer. Gone are the days when a publisher (or this one, at least) can handle this task successfully.
Radio Times TV listings are regularly inaccurate. Why bother with this publication if it doesn`t do what its meant to do? Subscription cancelled. Pity people who are paying £4.50 per week for this rubbish. How do they get away with it? Perhaps the BBC WOULD CARE TO COMMENT. I doubt it.. BTW its happened on three editions recently
I ordered a book on 30th Nov. Have phoned 3 times each time they promise it will go out in next few days. It still hasn't been sent 21days later! If they had been honest and said they couldn't do it I wouldn't have minded and made other plans. But they lie and just fob you off DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

There seems to be more and more incorrect listings. It could be the RT's fault or the programme provider's. RT will not respond to my enquiry.

A few weeks ago, copy WHICH CANE WAS MISSING ABOUT 60 pages. They resent it and it arrived AFTER the week had finished. This week the copy for the following week arrived but not the current one.
This week my delivered copy has total staple failure, all pages staple free, they are there as crumpled, falling out and falling off. I live in Devon TQ9 and have a subscription.
I paid by DD in October, since then 3 copies haven’t been delivered on time. The phone line and email box is manned by people who seem incapable of understanding that I want my money back. I am stuck and out of pocket for a magazine subscription that I am not receiving.
What a pity I can't give zero stars! Delivery is erratic and customer service is non existent. Although a subscription does mean I'm buying at a discount, it's not worth the effort as there have been so many missing editions. Support your local shop by purchasing it from there.
The Radio Times is a great magazine. It has the most detail and the broadest range of channels in its pages of any of the listings magazines. However, there is a big BUT which prevents me from giving 5 star rating. They use Royal Mail to carry and deliver the magazine and they are not al all reliable. Even though I live in a big city I am lucky to get two deliveries per week. In short Radio Times is always late.
RT website - another change and for the worse again. there's no 'quick view' for a listing, you have to click on it. Bad enough, but now it's a side frame and when you shut it, it leaves you at the top of the page no matter where you were. You still can't put the channels in an order you prefer, and since this is a review who does the film reviews? they are nothing like the star ratings in the rest of the media - I guess you are trying to turn us away from TV to books????
An offer of the first 14 issues for £1.00 was addressed personally to me. When I responded I was told I could not have the offer. After some exchanges I was told I could have the offer but I now find RT are going to take the full subscription cost from my bank account up front. So the offer is a scam - do not fall for it.
Trying to look at the guide on my mobile phone. The guide is fine until you see a programme you would like to know more about. Click on the programme and a big advert just covers the screen so you can’t read anything. There is a little x to delete the add but just takes you to another set of ads. What’s the point?
Ordered an item from the RT shop two weeks ago. The confirmation states that dispatch will be notified but I have not received any notification despite being told verbally a week ago that my order was "with the Royal mail". Needless to say no tracking information has been provided and almost inevitably the order has not arrived either.
Very sad to see the RT putting its name to something that falls way short of the level of service that most private sellers on eBay manage to provide, especially in the BBC's 100th year. The BBC needs all the friends that it can get these days, but this sort of service is only likely to alienate its customers.
PS. Just noticed that I failed to submit this review at the time. Yes, the item did arrive eventually, but I would never use this company again.
My radio times not arrived again this week , I am cancelling my subscription . I used to look forward to my Radio Times arriving always on Tuesday , but not anymore it varies hoped it would turn up but hasn’t . Also the changes I feel aren’t good , every week it seems to lose something , I thought they may be trying to attract younger people I fear if they change more the magazine won’t survive , Better radio features ( Radio Times ) feel Archers should be back to where it was not just where there a space
So where are the TV listings on the Radiotimes website or do they have so much PC crap to peddle that they don't think we need them?
Failure to deliver magazine AGAIN.Tried to cancel online.Did not work.I could list all the times they have let me down, but life is too short.
