All Quora Contents are AI Generated!

I had many many good suggestions for my loyal readers/followers on Quora, but one day I found Quora suddenly banning my account.

Upon investigating, I realized that it was due to the following question which I posted on Quora:

"Nowadays most of the answers posted on Quora by the users are AI generated, won't this impact Quora's reputation?"

Quora did not seem to like the above question, and they just banned my account.

Made a comment on racists misinformation attempt.

Made a comment on some person's racist and willfully dense remarks. They tried to imply white gun owners were somehow responsible for George Floyd's death. I said nothing that violated any policy. I only called out their racist allegation and attempt to spread misinformation. This is what I said: What in the hell do white gun owners have to do with George Floyd? This is the problem with idiots like you. You make these wild leaps that make absolutely no sense. It was the police that killed Floyd you ignorant racist imbecile. Not white gun owners.
This violated no guidelines per their own information. They just seem to be biased against anyone that disagrees with racist left wing radicals. Quora no longer allows dialogue. They are just a machine of silencing free speech that violated no policies

I've been placed on Edit-Ban 2 times in…

I've been placed on Edit-Ban 2 times in the last month which resulted in 2 weeks of being blocked from posting or responding. Given that the platform has very few Human Moderators that actually read comments when they are flagged it has been hijacked by people who just don't like what someone else posts. The greater majority of Quora is moderated by AI. In my case someone just flags my post as plagiarism and the edit ban is instant. There aren't eyes on to actually read the post to see that sources are in the comment. This is an abuse of the platform rules but those that engage in this behavior never experience consequences. Quora has lost a lot of really good commenters that made the site enjoyable to use. It's going to go the way of twitter & Facebook. People are just staying away because Quora s' traffic has declined and declining traffic means less revenue. Ads are not going to be bought on Quora if there are not people responding to them. They need to fix this.

Quora—A platform for lies and deceit

Title: Quora – A Platform of Lies, Bias, and Total Irresponsibility

Quora presents itself as a “knowledge-sharing” platform, but in reality it has become a breeding ground for lies, bias, and disinformation. I have personally reported repeated falsehoods and anti-India propaganda being published there, and despite writing to them multiple times, Quora has done absolutely nothing.

This is not ignorance on their part — it is wilful negligence. They are fully aware of the lies being circulated on their site, yet they allow them to continue unchecked. That makes Quora complicit. They are not just passively hosting misinformation; they are privy to spreading it, profiting from the clicks and engagement that come from toxic, divisive content.

The leadership of Quora, including CEO Adam D’Angelo and his senior moderation team, have been repeatedly warned of this behaviour. Their refusal to act is not an oversight — it is a choice. A choice to ignore truth, ignore evidence, and ignore responsibility. By looking the other way, they have turned Quora into a global platform for propaganda and deceit.

Quora hides behind the façade of “moderation,” but in truth their moderation system is a sham. It is arbitrary, inconsistent, and heavily biased. Factual, balanced perspectives are suppressed, while blatant propaganda is allowed to flourish. The result is a platform that actively misleads readers worldwide, poisons discourse, and fosters hostility between communities.

The sheer hypocrisy is staggering. Quora positions itself as a hub of knowledge, yet it knowingly enables false narratives, dangerous stereotypes, and targeted disinformation. Any platform that continues to spread lies after being warned is guilty of deliberate misconduct.

This is not a matter of opinion. It is a matter of documented fact — I and others have provided them with clear evidence, and they have chosen to ignore it. That is a damning indictment of their integrity, all the way up to their executive leadership.

Quora is not a platform for learning. It is a platform for lies, whitewashing, and deceit. They have destroyed their own credibility, and the world should treat them accordingly: not as a place for truth, but as a place where truth is buried under layers of bias and falsehoods.

Verdict: Avoid Quora at all costs. CEO Adam D’Angelo and his moderation team have overseen the collapse of Quora’s integrity. They are a danger to open discourse, a disgrace to digital publishing, and a platform that deserves to be exposed for what it really is — a machine for spreading lies.

Getting Worse

Quality of Quora has gotten worst as time goes on all I see the same old repeated questions with little to no research, spaces riddled with spam articles and spam links

Other then that the support is clearly non existent if there is any sort of issue they will not reach out

Will not recommend

Quora sucks

Quora sucks and the moderation is a joke. Questionable content is all over Quora, yet not removed. It is full of propaganda from different peers and the moderation is too incompetent to solve this problem. It basically encourages questionable content while removing any type of truly critical thinking with a few exceptions. This, dear reader, is the result of a failed education system.

the moderation team must wake up

The neglicence of the moderation team who constantly avoids to undertake any action against trolls or other fraudolent users on the platform is somewhat disgusting... Indeed, the way they ignore complains from costumers should make the Quora managers reflect about the idea of firing the whole moderation team and hiring a new one.

Apart from such issue, which urgently needs to be solved, there is still space for some interesting cultural questions/answers, meaning that not all of the initial purpose and potential of this platform has been completely lost yet.

Manipulation

This site is full of liars and the mods favors them.
There is a guy from israel talking about how israel evacuated almost every palestinians from gaza, there being no genocide and UN under Hamas control is doing this to make Israel look bad.

Not only that but he talks like muslims are undereducated primates and regardless of reporting him for hate speech, quora let it be.

When you prove them wrong, the mods decide to delete your comment so he can continue doing this thing.

I strongly suggest to avoid this site

They banned my account for no specific reason. I have been using Quora since 2018, and most of what I share there reflects my general knowledge about different topics. Additionally, I am a student ambassador at UoPeople, so I answered several questions related to online education and the legitimacy of the institution. As someone with experience, I wasn't lying about the information I shared. While they didn't explicitly say it was the reason, I assumed it was because there was nothing else I wrote that was offensive or against the T&C's. Overall, I am very frustrated with them. I appealed, but they ignored me.
