our experience is mixed we had the whole house fitted with quick slide doors, windows, and excellent bi-fold doors, we were delighted, problem start when the front door (Bright Red) faded to a raspberry colour, being the good company they are, immediately offered to replace it with new door may 2020, we chose a different colour, don’t want it to fade, the new replacement door delivered three months later, the engineer came to fitted it 6-7 weeks after, but it didn’t fit, we’ve been informed they order another new red door, that’s not what we ordered, nobody seems to have any idea what’s going on and lm very annoyed now, how hard is it to send an engineer to measure it all, order it, fix it 😖😖🤔

very easy to deal with. Attentive and professional. Particularly liked that they were transparent in their pricing and just said 'this is the price' without playing games to see how high they could charge.This made making a decision so much easier.

Ordered two double glazed windows with bespoke colour to match the rest of my house. Order team and delivery excellent. When an old window lost an aestragal bar, they replaced straight away too and matched to the colour. Great service and great product.

The bathroom window was not done as ordered.
Centre bar was missing from the top part window.

Two sash windows made by Karl are perfection at its Best.

Salesmen have very poor trade knowledge, led to a big mistake in mine.

Three years ago I had 5 windows from Quickslide, 4 of them sash windows, installed Recently two of them have developed faults. Neither shut properly and something 'went' in one of them which is now so badly misaligned now that I can no longer fasten the catches and neither lock. I have emailed and sent photos but have not received a reply and every time I phone I am cut off or I am told someone will call me back. They haven't and I have just realise that I have been charged £5.00 for repeated failed calls as it's a business rate number. I am very disappointed with the lack of after sales service and the 5 year warranty is useless.

Update: I was contacted by Quickslide after posting this review and an engineer has been booked to replace the faulty parts in October. I have received an apology and a gift voucher for £50. Apparently,according to the merchant who I bought the windows from, about that time there was a batch with faulty springs. I will update this review when the windows are repaired. Meanwhile, I think that QuickSlide need to review the use of an 0844 number, which is expensive to call as it is excluded from all phone packages.

Update: 28th September 2020:

Dave, a helpful and experienced engineer came from Quickslide on the 22nd September. He replaced the box in one of the sash windows as this had broken and sprayed the metal hinges with silicon spray. The other problematic window is now working properly after I had used WD40 on the hinges a few weeks ago. Dave explained that the windows needed to be lubricated with Silicon spray once a year. Apparently WD40 leads to grime building up in the mechanism. I don't recall being told that the windows needed lubricating annually when the sash windows were installed. Dave thought that the reason that the box in the window had failed was because the window had become stiff. It is now working perfectly and I am happy that the problem has been resolved before the cold weather sets in.

I am probably one of the earlier Solidor victims! You should remember that these doors are sold with a 10 year warranty.

I noticed the coating coming away from the bottom of the door late last year and got in touch with Quickslide.

Today with the patient help of Stephanie Tiley (I didn't make it easy for her!), my new Ludlow door has been installed all taken care of by Quickslide.

The one we removed needs to be seen to be believed! It's filled with run of the mill timber and once the water gets in anywhere you've not got a hope!

Quickslide took on the responsibility with professionalism, care and most fundamentally accepted responsibility on Solidor's behalf.

I think it's extremely unfair of Solidor to put their suppliers in this crazy position. All they are required to do is improve the material that makes up a composite door!

I have had to leave a review of Quickslide because the chap who is called Brian Attack is just simply the best ever customer care person we have ever met. Nothing is to much trouble for this guy and he certainly goes above and beyond anything we have ever experienced.
Our sash windows are now 12 years old and things need replacing to keep them in a pristine condition, Brian has helped us sort out replacements and get things sorted.
When we replace the windows which will be in the next few years we will be going back to Quickslide because of this kind of care.
Brian, you are a STAR in our book, we can not thank you enough for your kindness and care.

After spending the best part of £15,000.00 with Quickslide last year on windows and doors for a refurb I wanted to let their potential customers know about the customer service and maybe the lack of it in my case. Firstly the windows were delayed by nearly a month for some reason. When the windows finally turned up some of the glazing beads were not the correct colour coding then the gable end was made incorrectly and they had to remake it this was in early November 2019 only today has the glass turned up for the Gable!!!! But they couldn't even get this right as it was delivered to my home address and not the site address. I informed them every time I found something wrong and it just seems like a catalogue of errors on their behalf.

Having said all of this I find a product to be of a good standard and that is why the two stars.
