The rooms were nice

Staying at this room was a true highlight of my trip to Lisbon. The room was spotless and was modern. Tatiana was friendly and accommodating, ensuring that I had a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this room!

It was the worst experience in my life

It was the worst renting experience in our lives (it was my third long stay in Portugal and definitely the only horrible one). We lived there for 4 months and there was a renovation going on in the building, outside and inside during the whole time, so a continuous noice including saturdays and some sundays. As so many others wrote here, it's a scam and we really hope it will go down fast. The construction workers made me hole from the next apartment to ours through the wall for 3 times during the sping. Besides there was continuous bed bugs poisoning in the apartment, which was a joke, as it was just one of the landlord's own workers coming to the apartment without any professional protection or tools to make the work. So we had to leave the apartment for 12 hours, in total 5 times during the tenancy, plus pack all our belongings to bags during the "poisoning". Now, after the tenancy, they are sending emails to us and asking us to pay more money, as they are claiming that the desk and bed sheest were damaged (they were not) and since we didn't answer them for 1 week, they threat us for suing us. Luckily we have relatives living in Lisbon, who has a good lawyer, who is now helping us and going to report this "company".

I had a nice stay

I had a nice stay. The room was bright, spacious, and had a beautiful view of the city. It was near public transportation, making it easy to explore Lisbon. I would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Rovisco. The neighbourhood was charming, and the room had a lot of character. It was well-furnished and had all the amenities I needed. I had memorable experience and would highly recommend them.

The room exceeded all my expectations

The room exceeded all my expectations. The room was impeccably clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. They were also very attentive and made sure I had a pleasant stay. I would definitely book this room again!

I can't say enough good things

I can't say enough good things about Casa Antonio. The location was ideal, within walking distance of great restaurants and shops. the room itself was sytlish and cosy. I felt right at home during my stay. Highly recommended!

Staying at Casa Dias

Staying at Casa Dias was a fantastic experience. The room was spacious and had a lovely view of the city. The bed was super comfortable, and the amenities provided were top-notch. Joana was also very accommodating and made sure I had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again!

Run!

My experience with this organization has been less than pleasant. It already started when I only got the contract upon arrival, which is already a big red flag. I didn't want to sign it, because it has many clauses that benefit them, and put you in a pretty horrible position. But since I was a foreigner in a new city, I didn't really have any other place to go. This is how I got stuck for five months, living at their places. The place where I lived at first had 21 rooms, which is already against the law, the fire safety was a joke, and it had quite a bit of black mold in several of the rooms. The fact that you had to hang your laundry to dry in your own room, in my case 8 m2 without windows, didn't help with the mold problem.

Whenever there was a problem, they wouldn't answer their e-mail, and if you reminded them after a week, they would respond with 'If you keep e-mailing us, you move to the bottom of our priority list, that is just our policy' (I took the freedom to translate this to normal English). Common problems included black mold, the electricity not working, the lights not working, the shower not working, etc. There was never enough electrical capacity, due to there being so many rooms, so there was no chance to work from home because the WiFi kept losing connection. Heating anything in the oven or turning the kettle on was practically impossible.

In Casa António II there was one laundry machine, four fridges, and one stovetop for 21 rooms, which meant that you had to share shelves in the fridge, couldn't cook or had to wait, and you either had to wake up early to be able to do laundry or had to go to a laundromat. One of the people in the house wanted their own fridge but got told that that service was only available for a minimum of six months of renting.

I moved to another house of theirs (I wouldn't get my deposit back if I left the company), Casa Bolivia VII, and here we lived with seven people. Paulo, the manager, kept sending really rude and threatening e-mails claiming, for example, that he could make our lives miserable. He also tried to set us up against each other by lying about what we would tell him about other tenants. Like a middle-aged sad man version of mean girls.

The people that work for the company have, in the five months that I lived there:
- Trespassed, into my room, and the room of another tenant. They never gave any notion that they would come by, and neither of us was home.
- Stolen, all the items stored in the bathroom cabinets
- Lied, about innumerous things
- Threatened us
- Called us names, saying that we are pigs and don't deserve any respect
- Changed the front door locks without telling us, and without giving the key to several of us
- Never fixed any of the problems I e-mailed them about (except for a leaking pipe)
- Kicked out tenants for illegitimate reasons. There was no contractual breach in any way, shape, or form from their side. They were just so tired of fighting the company and didn't want to live there anymore anyway, that they just left.

At the moment I am waiting for them to return my deposit. According to the contract they have 20 days to do so, we are at day 18 now.

I wouldn't recommend this housing company to anyone, and I am honestly shocked and a little disappointed that people like this exist. Personally, I think it is a bit pathetic to be so obsessed over money that you exploit foreigners and students, but they seem to be able to live with themselves just fine.

I had an incredible stay

I had an incredible stay with Quarto e Quartos in Lisbon! The location was perfect, close to all the major attractions. The room was clean and comfortable. Paulo was friendly and provided great recommendations for places to visit. I highly recommend them!

Don't rent with this people

Don't rent with this people. You WON'T receive your deposit. NEVER. They lie about some defects on the room you never did! And they are even asking for more money in top of the deposit!! Hilarious. So disgraceful to experience this when you move from another country to Lisbon!

Price-wise probably one of the wisest

Price-wise probably one of the wisest decisions I have made as you won't get anything better in and around Lisbon than that. All the rooms are located in good neighborhoods and all the essential facilities are near. Worth a visit I'd say!

I RAN AWAY AFTER ONE MONTH. They dont follow contract rules. It's a criminal organisation and they never pay back deposits. To nobody! We are building a case against them.

Don't follow the good reviews. It's also airbnb. I think they write them themselves. And they mainly rip of sfudents and immigrants. All the bad reviews are accurate what multiple people have experienced.

Please be aware!!
I want to advise all of the reviewers to leave the address where they have stayed. Mine was Augusto Gil 1 1-do. They call it Augusto Gil 3.

The service has been really good

The service has been really good and our rooms are beautiful. Easy to reach out to the host in case of any issues or emergencies, they have everything covered and made our stay super pleasant. 9.8/10 service!!

Very spacious rooms
