Tourist trap!!
We parked our car in Q Park Odense City. The hotel had told us that we could pay for the car park with them. There was an employee who, as soon as we left the car park, headed in the direction of our car. We thought nothing of it. In the hotel, the reception told us we had to "of course" take a parking ticket. We headed back and paid for the ticket but too late. Barely 10 minutes after we parked, we had already a fine in the windshield. We looked for the employee, but he was nowhere to be found. The next morning, still not finding anyone, we left and wrote a polite email to them, explaining everything. Answer: we have to pay the fine ON TOP OF THE TICKET, otherwise they will take us to court! 10 minutes late in taking a ticket cost us 140 euro. Wow, just wow. Sneaky employees hiding and trapping tourists. Well done you. Enjoy the 875 DKK, we will certainly never park in a Q Park ever again.
The Worst Parking Experience We’ve …
The Worst Parking Experience We’ve Ever Had – Tourists Beware!!!
As a Dutch family visiting Denmark during the May holiday, we were thoroughly enjoying the beauty and hospitality of Odense — until we parked at Q-Park Filosoffen. What followed was an infuriating, Kafkaesque experience that completely soured our visit.
Upon arrival, the underground garage was full, so we parked in a nearby marked bay. There were no clear instructions, no barrier, and no payment machine — only a sign suggesting the use of an app. A Q-Park staff member happened to drive by. We immediately approached him, asked how to pay, and activated the EasyPark app on the spot. He confirmed our license plate was visible in his system and wished us a pleasant day.
Minutes after we left, we were issued a 895 DKK fine for “karosseri uden for afmærkning” — supposedly because the body of our car was over the line, despite us being parked between two vehicles in the only space available. The second fine came later that evening, this time again for 895 DKK, claiming “no valid payment” — even though our EasyPark history proves we paid throughout the day, except for a short break due to a dead phone battery.
To make matters worse, we spoke to two different Q-Park employees, both of whom were surprised by the fines and admitted that issuing a ticket right after assisting a customer was not standard practice. We even called Q-Park Denmark with them present — only to be told to “try again tomorrow.”
In total, we paid 135 DKK in parking fees and received 1,790 DKK in fines, despite acting in good faith and following Q-Park’s own advice.
This is nothing short of predatory behavior. It reeks of revenue-driven enforcement without any regard for fairness, logic, or common decency. It also undermines the otherwise welcoming image of Denmark — especially in a city that prides itself on tourism and design.
Avoid Q-Park Filosoffen at all costs. If you’re a tourist, do yourself a favor and park elsewhere. This company does not deserve your business.

I had an issue during parking payment which charged me extra. Support team took care of the situation in a decently quick way and with professional and friendly attitude. They issued a refund to make it a fair deal for me.

Extremely unfriendly and arrogant…
Extremely unfriendly and arrogant behavior from their customer service. I had a question and asked politely without using a rude tone or a high voice, yet their service was disrespectful and beyond arrogant. Q-Park, get better employees, and your customers might be more satisfied. It has been a while since I avoided your parking areas, but now, I will be even more strict.

Parking meter did not work
Parking meter did not work. Did everything I could to pay, but it was not possible. Parked anyway; my car was the ONLY one in the approximately 300 car lot. Parking attendant went straight to my car and issued a ticket but did not bother to fix the parking meter. Had pictures of everything, but lost the complaint based on similar, previous cases...endorsed by the official Danish Parking Appeal judge. QPark's business practices are shameful and should not be allowed in a country like Denmark. Avoid them! Shame on you, QPark!
They should train their employees…
They should train their employees better and feed them well so they won't give fees to people that are legally stationary. They hide in the bushes and wait for you to go for delivery and give you a fee without a reason. I think they should learn the parking rules before being sent to work. And stop keeping they hungry so they won't have to give fees to people for few extra krones on the salary.
Horrible
Horrible. They should not be allowed to ove any parking spaces in dk. I will never shop at places where they ove parking places. I forgot to put my clock next to silvan where they have two hours free parking and after 4min they gave me 895 dkk fine. And after all brought me to the court. Never again i will use their parking lots nor shop at places where they ove parkings. Standing there like hunters and waiting for people to be late for a minutte or forget to put clock w 2 hours free parking. Nasty thieves.
The worst company in DK
Don’t be late 1 min. It will cost you 895dkk. No talk, no excuses! I am speechless how a company like that is allowed to work in DK.
Avoid
As much as possible avoid giving them your money. They are worse than landlords, they buy up parkings from the city, provide nothing, have high prices and always try to give you tickets for anything. I don't understand how they can even operate legally, with how predatory they are.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes: the way to go QPark
It is unbelievable that the Danish government is selling us all out to QPark. It's not a surprise that this company tries to milk out the people in all sorts of ways for its own profit, fines all over the place. Bully and scam your own people, sure, that's the way forward this century. I've heard that a place in hell has been allocated for you guys... and for good reason ;-)

SCAM ALERT!
I recently parked at a Q-Park facility in Denmark, and my experience was extremely disappointing. The parking rules and consequences of violations were NOT clearly displayed on the informational signs, making it very confusing for users. As a result, drivers can unknowingly end up receiving fines without even realizing they have violated any rules.
To make things worse, this minor violation ended up costing me a ridiculous 120€! This lack of clear and visible signage makes Q-Park’s system feel like a trap to generate easy money rather than a fair parking service.
I will never use Q-Park again and strongly advise others to be extremely cautious when parking in their facilities!
Parking ticket
Having registered my credit card and entered the cars registration number, which was duly confirmed by the machine, with the correct description of my car, I also confirmed that the description was correct and left the carpark. On our return, we found that we had a parking ticket. I cannot imagine what went wrong, since I have used this procedure many times. The fact that you cannot verbally complain to Q Park is a very unpleasant fact of this company.

Illegal invoicing by QPark
I parked in Odense parking for one hour for which I paid about 25dkr. On my window there was a piece of paper indicating that I owed 895dkr because I did not park properly. One should know that QPark is a private company so they can issue invoices subject to VAT. They do not have the right to issue fines. Only the police can. Invoices have to correspond to services rendered and which pricing is known in advance by the client. I parked correctly and the fact of not parking exactly as they define is a whim which cannot be guessed. There is no price list justifying this invoice and it is not a service. Do not pay this invoice. They will certainly lose in court.
A money making scam
It’s mentioned that the first two hours are free; however, if you forget to register on the app, even if it’s been less than an hour, they come and fine you. They just want to make money. It’s a scam.
Abuse
My case was that i parked and i didnt see that my parking clock was out of battery. Fair enough i agree that’s my responsibility. However, there was NO parking ticket in my window! This came by post in my postbox, not even electronic post. The ticket was from 19th of November and i received the letter only this week. This is totally not ok and i can only imagine this was done by purpose so that you have set me up for getting more parking tickets for the same reason. This is totally not ok to do things this way. There should of been a ticket in the window! Its so frustrating this abuse of power and we as citizens have our hands tied.
Quite literally thieves
Quite literally thieves.
Parked my car. Paid for parking in EasyPark app. Charged my car. Paid for charging in charge providers app. Come back. Ticket.
Reason: no physical disc showing time i arrived.
Seriously WTF. This is Denmark 2024 not 1924.
I followed the complaints procedure which states that they reserve the right not to answer complaints.
I also reserve the right not to pay essentially what is an invoice.
I entered into no contract, I signed no agreement. I was not at fault and think your activities should be ceased.
I wanted to get food from a Netto in…
I wanted to get food from a Netto in Copenhagen and I parked in spot that said it was for customers. I didn't know that I had to put a park skive out and when I came back 15 minutes later, I had a fine for 895 kr on my windshield. The parking guy was hiding in the corner and waited for customers to park there so he could put fines on their cars. I also don't speak Danish so I had no way of knowing. It's surprising to see such a huge scam and apparently the Danish government allows it.
Organised criminal activity
🚨DO NOT PARK WITH Q-PARK🚨
This company and its staff are complicit in organised crime. It is legitimately safer to park on-street. Leave your vehicle at your own peril!
Wish it was possible to give minus…
Wish it was possible to give minus stars. My car broke down while unloading moving boxes in front of the apartment where I live, and had to wait for help. Meanwhile got that ridiculous fee of 875 kr -- for a car running out of battery! As soon as help came, I moved the car. I wrote them a complaint, and they replied once saying they will not cancel the fine. Then I complained again, saying it was unfair, and they replied with a threat to take me to court unless I pay the fee. Aggressive and intolerant company.
