Really good customer service from Pulleymaid, prompt responses with helpful info and a really good product. No hesitation in recommending them should you be looking for a well made and reliable clothes pulley.

Disappointed by the poor quality of some of the parts. The main pulley wheel screws twisted as they were being screwed in, the plastic parts are cheap looking and flimsy. Instructions and video weren’t completely helpful, needed more detail as they some things to guess at, like position of the additional pulley wheel.

I bought a pulley for my house, and I really love it. It was easy to assemble and install, and has been a welcome addition to the house.

We are delighted with our beautiful plate rack.We looked at numerous makes but the fact that this is bespoke and is such good quality it would have been foolish not to buy one.
Any questions we had re care of the wood etc were promptly replied to and the whole purchasing experience was a delight.Nothing is too much trouble. We have already have visitors admire and comment on the quality of the rack.We can recommend this company without any reservation you won’t be disappointed.

I was recommended Pulley Maid, and they did not disappoint! The customer service was impeccable, they responded my order the same day, and I was able to collect it without any hassle. Their products are of exceptionally high quality and extremely well packaged. Truly a premium experience from start to finish!

Brilliant service. I ordered replacement laths from Pulleymaid which included free delivery. I live in the north of Scotland and some companies add ridiculous delivery charges (up to £50 on another site I looked at first) for goods.
The laths arrived quickly and exactly what I needed. Thank you so much.

We have a new house which is a modern design and the simpler design pulleymaid was a great choice. The extra pulley and rope made it a great space saving option as the rope is neatly stored against the wall. Great quality very sturdy easy purchase and quick delivery .

The order was delayed repeatedly, with no updates unless I chased, and when I did the responses were rude and dismissive. After weeks of waiting, only half the product arrived. The rest was stuck at customs and returned to sender – the timber was clearly not treated to enter Australia.

My two options were to either try again (knowing it would fail) or accept a small refund and DIY the product myself. After paying a premium price, two months later, I am left with half an airer and a lot of wasted time. The communication was dismissive and unhelpful, the service was appalling, and the experience has been nothing short of infuriating.

Just disappointing and unacceptable – avoid this company altogether.

Good quality products. I already own one. Unfortunately the good quality coming from the factory is let down by poor customer service. No phone number is provided, emails take days or weeks to be answered and the responses are downright rude. Ordered an item that said (and still says) "in stock" and at the time said dispatch in 1-2 working days. I've since been told, without any hint of an apology, that it's out of stock and that I should have read the website more carefully because it now says allow 2-3 weeks. Well it's been 3.5 weeks but still the response includes the words "If you have ordered this without reading our lead times...". Unbelievably rude. If only another company produced a similar product.

EDIT: The company read my review and cancelled my order. They will respond and claim that I failed to read their website properly, as they claim it said 2-3 weeks lead time when I ordered, which I believe is false, it said 1-2 days at the time, but there's no way to prove it as their confirmation email conveniently makes no reference to when you might receive your product. The indisputable fact is that they list products as "in stock" when in fact they haven't made them yet, which is undeniably misleading. The product was apparently ready for dispatch today, 4 working weeks after order, but they've childishly canceled the order because of my review. All they had to do was say sorry for the delay and we'd all be happy.

Absolutely shocking customer service. We decided to return our pulleymaid ordered from this company as felt we could get a bigger size in the area we had. We contacted for returns information and followed the correct procedure. We actually dropped the pulleymaid back off to their site. The man over the desk took the pulleymaid off us with all our information. We awaited our return which did not come, after contacting them, they said we never returned the item back to them - IT WAS PUT IN THEIR HANDS OVER THEIR DESK!!! They now no longer answer our emails and over 6 months has gone by with no recognition from the company or money back. I even contacted to say if they would not give us our money back, could they at least replace the product, and nothing! I would not recommend or use this company again! Be warned if you think you want to try for size or may want to return, you may not get your money back!!

The product is good; the service is not. I bought a ST ERTH Clothes Airer from Pulley Maid. It took 4 weeks to arrive instead of 2. Although it's definitely a nice product, I'm not sure why it took 4 weeks to make though. In fact, I'm not sure why it was estimated to take 2 weeks to make. It's quite a simple thing.

When I enquired about where it was I got a rude reply and was asked if I wanted to cancel my order. If it had taken any longer to arrive, I would've cancelled my order.

Once it arrived, I found the instructions didn't really relate to the product and neither did the info on the website. If you're less familiar with DIY, then this is something to bear in mind.

We will see how it holds out but I'm sceptical about whether the pulleys will last as long as the dryer itself.
