POOR DELI CUSTOMER SERVICE
I went to the deli department at the Cortez Road Bradenton Florida Publix location and specifically asked the deli associate to have my deli meat sliced paper thin and to have each slice with paper between them. When I got home the meat was all stuck together it was not sliced thin and there was no paper between the slices as i had requested;; therefore, I threw the whole thing in the garbage. The deli worker never showed me the first slice to make sure that was how I wanted it to be sliced before he continued to finish the order. This is not the first time that this has happened unfortunately. I don't think that these reviews are complaints are being taken seriously by the corporate office and are letting their employees know what needs to be done so that they can get better reviews and give exceptional customer service. This post will be on all social media sites to make customers aware of what to expect!
i ordered 2 chicken tender sub
i ordered 2 chicken tender sub , and i had checked my sub . my mom had found a bone in her chicken sub , which was weird because it’s not a chicken breast it’s chicken tender . it was weird that a bone was found . although we checked for any more there wasn’t but it was really weird .
I like fresh corn with every dinner … what Publix sold my husband today, not 3 for a$, but 79 cents apiece !
Quit selling garbage at unbelievable prices
Steaks Are Tough as Nails
The only thing worse than paying $26 for two strip steaks is when after cooking them, it was difficult to cut them, much less chew them.
Exceptional Customer Service
This morning I shopped at Publix Naples Walk in Naples Fl. This is my usual grocery and they typically meet my expectations. This morning I was in the produce section and the next item on my list was refrigerated sauerkraut. I asked two people stocking produce where I could find it. They searched their web site and could not locate it. I continued out of produce to finish my shopping. The woman continued searching for the item, found it and then came and found me elsewhere in the store and escorted me to the exact product I was looking for. This occurred between 11:00 and 11:30 this morning. She is Hispanic and she was stocking produce. If she can be identified she should be commended for exemplary customer service.

Don't work for them unless you don't…
Don't work for them unless you don't mind them not keeping their word and brutally cutting your hours when least expected. They continue to hire new people only to re-train them and cut the hours of those they've trained. That makes no sense at all. Seniors who work there get as little as 4 hours a week if they're lucky. It's a business and you can bet you'll get the short end of the stick. There is so much hypocrisy, playing the role as caring but they don't really show that with their associates. It's all an act, although genuine people work there who are sincere but good luck to them, it's like a cult. When it comes to their little fund raisers, it matters not that the CEO's are making 6 figures, you've got to badger customers to donate. Plus, you know how you think you're saving money with BOGO's? Their prices are outrageous unless you take advantage of the clearance rack. They're just a new age, woke company run by a corporate office which wants to profit from suckers thinking that it's such an atmosphere of nice people. Don't kid yourself. It's business with a cutting edge so when your hours shrink, don't say I didn't warn you.
Publix #1656 in Tallahassee is no longer our #1 go-to ... No more
Publix #1656 in Tallahassee was our go-to supermarket since we 2018 because of friendly staff, well stocked aisles, fresh produce and competitive prices. Over the past 3-4 years, staff quality has declined, less stock, over pricing on marginal quality beef and, most importantly, price gouging at every turn.
The Deli workers are often standing around waiting for something to do when there’s several customers in line. There’s either poor communication or management and very long wait times. No one has a sense of urgency.
Stock carts and stockers are in the way in almost every isle in both AM and PM
Poor stock rotation, many items out of date and/or out of stock.
PUBLIX online order/delivery SCAM
This Review is for their ONLINE PICKUP/DELIVERY. They sent me an offer ($15 OFF A $100+ order), so I thought I would try it. It ended up taking more time, and COSTING more, than if I just drove to the store. So I will NEVER BUY ONLINE from Publix again. The Details: First, you have to register an account with Publix, THEN, you have to register another account with Instacart, then you go online and shop. Once done, and before you can check out, you need to answer a bunch of questions, OK. But then, you also have to select an option for EVERY ITEM in your cart, as for what substitution option you want to pick. Ok, then you can pay and check out. HERE IS THE BIG CATCH: EVERY ITEM YOU JUST PURCHASED HAD IT'S PRICE JACKED UP JUST FOR BUYING ONLINE, PLUS, THEY CHARGE YOU FOR DELIVERY!!! NOTHING is free here, THEY ARE CHARGING YOU EXTRA FOR ORDERING ONLINE, unlike other retail stores. BUYER BEWARE!!!
Excellence arrived at the Monza Avenue Branch
Your motto finally came true- it WAS a pleasure to buy at your Monza Avenue branch. In the past, we were met with indifference and empty shelves. Since the new, female manager started, and her sidekick, the excellent Daphne, arrived, the branch is run with efficiency and politeness. I go there now with pleasure- not with foreboding. As Margaret Thatcher once said: "If you want someone to SAY something, choose a man, if you want someone to DO something, send a woman". True again. Bravo!
They have increased their prices so…
They have increased their prices so much that it is absolutely ridiculous. They have prepared soups and charging $10 for a cup of soup $12 for a pound of bacon. Their chips and sodas are double the price that you find at Walmart or anywhere else this is price gouging
Worst Publix I have ever been to
Worst Publix I have ever been to. Pick a different Publix.
A quick 5-10 in and out quick shop turned into 30 minutes with walking out with my left hand smelling of putrid meat. I never complain or write these but I today 09/14/2024 Saturday I go to get the BOGO chicken drumsticks and thighs, putting the packages into the small bags so no mess for the cashier, when I smell putrid meat. I sniff inside the bag that has thighs and it is ROTTEN meat smell, not sure if laying in uncleaned shelf or what, a little ticked but oh well, Ill wash my rotten stink hands when I get home. And I am talking rotten meat. The type you have to wash your hands at least twice to get the smell off. I had to wash my hands 4 times when I got home.
Get to the deli department , I am the only one there. 4 ladies standing there, 3 of them make eye contact with me including the deli manger Marie, thye dont smile, nothing... they just turn and walk away... For 5 minutes im standing there looking at 2 of the deli workers until im helped. No 8 piece fried chicken on the shelf is why I am there. " Can you tell me how long for the fried chicken 8 piece" " TWO minutes" okay i wait for 5 minutes with nothing coming out. I walk away just fed up. Now standing in the check out line... NO JOKE, a customer who was also waiting for deli meat when I was at Deli, came up to me at the checkout line about 5 minutes after I had left, and said
" The deli lady told me to come give you this" , and hands me a 8 piece. WHAT??? I was as puzzled and confused as you would be that an employee asked a customer to go deliver food to another customer.
After that I talked to the assistant manager there, I told her everything and how the BOGO tags are never even in the correct places, so you get normal charged for the same brand items and not BOGO. Told her everything is on camera and the rotten chicken was still in the little bags they have on rolls in the meat department to go smell.
Had a lady 2 months ago at this same store in checkout line say she was tired of the store and to put back all her items to the cashier, while she left all her items and walked out of the store. I guess lots of people are fed up with this location too.
Would not suggest shopping at the location. Again, worst Publix I have ever been to, and management runs the store poorly.
The BOGO's I had to take pictures of because the tags were always placed wrong and I would be fully charged. A couple weeks ago they had Jenny-O turkey BOGO, which of course was out on shelf. Asked the butcher to bring me out 2 if he had them, which he did but of COURSE they were the wrong ones on sale and I was fully charged full price...

I think Publix should stop selling…
I think Publix should stop selling Attitude brand baby arugula. I've bought it several times and they always have new leaves mixed in with old ones. This brand always tries to trick us with the lowest price when we're buying junk. I won't buy it anymore. I'd rather pay a little more and get a product that's healthy and usable!!!!
From BOGO to NOGO.
Publix was my go-to supermarket since 2008, characterized by friendly staff, well stocked aisles, in-house meat cutters, fresh produce and competitive prices. Over the past 3-4 years, staff quality has declined, less stock, excessive pricing on marginal quality beef and, most importantly, price gouging at every turn.
Publix on Cochran blvd
Publix on Cochran blvd. Port Charlotte. Never buy a sub there! I used to all the time. No more. Worst sub sandwich I ever had. !!!! It was buying a half of loaf bread with 3 slices of meat. for 7.95!!!! they have gone downhill fast!
Blueberry Scones.
My husband bought some blueberry scones from the Publix on Shepherd Rd 2 days ago and they were awesome. I just bought some from the Publix at the Southgate shopping center for the ladies at work today. They were terrible. First off, the Publix on Shepherd Rd has course sugar on top (which is the proper addition to a scone) and they were not dry at all. The one at Southgate looked be glazed. They were dry and horrible. I don't know how 2 Publix stores can be so different. I was so disappointed in the scone that I had to throw half of it away. If I hadn't bought them for ladies at work, I would have returned them. All I can say is that the Southgate store is not up to par with Imperial lakes on Shepherd Rd.
Inflation or Greedy Pricing?
I have been a Publix shopper for over 20 years. I have noticed within the past month or two that their pricing on frozen vegetarian entrees & burgers (all brands) have gone through the roof, disproportionally to other frozen entrees, and to their own prices within a few weeks’ time. Ex. - Over $10 for a bag of Gardein entree items. These items were priced at Publix a few weeks back at $4-$5 a bag, not on sale (and are still at that price elsewhere at most places). I compare Publix in this area of groceries to how the now-bankrupt Bi-lo stores treated vegetarian entrees, as if they were an optional luxury item. Clearly, shoppers didn’t buy those & other non competitively priced, everyday items at Bi-lo - they went elsewhere to shop. And Bi-lo went bankrupt.
Publix Orlando warehouse managers and…
Publix Orlando warehouse managers and supervisor only care about them selves and there bonus, worst customer service and don’t know how to speak to employees.
University Square Greenville SC Leah…
University Square Greenville SC Leah and Susan I informed the cashier and customer service that my receipt diddn't ring up my club points was told not to worry it did. I knew it did't cause i looked before leaving on my phone. why lie to seniors if you do not want us to have the points don't adverstise the perts. I felt like customer service shpuld had said let me re run that for you so you get your points. instead she stood there didn't take the time to make the correction and ask me did you get any coupon items she ha dit in her had but asking me i spent over $300 i remembered one she gave me $3 when i got home found 3 more items, I love shopping at Publix but no more. I felt like i was just pushed asided as a old women i will tell her anything she will believe it. Its not alot of money but if yall do this all day long it adds up. someone need to check this out. to make sure Club points are going to customers.
Publix associate now days don't…
Publix associate now days have no respect, and don't know how to talk to people. They treat you base on you skin complexion. I went to store 787 in Saturday September 14 2024, in the back display they had 2 shelves with Bagels bogo. I grabbed 2, yet they rung up regular price. I told them when I picked them from. They told me NO they not on sale. I went back there to take a picture and brought it to the cashier name Anthony. He opened his eyes and raised his voice saying the customer supposed to read the signs. He proceeded to say my supervisor is right there talk to her. Daila,Dayla the customer service team leader OMG she is nasty as hell. They often think you're trying to get something for free. The team leader didn't handle the situation well at all. I left the store without the Bagels because they both got on my last nerve. It is very sad to get mistreated by your own people and they have a lot of respect for others if you know what I mean
