Since Covid their prices have doubled…
Since Covid their prices have doubled and the quality of meat and produce has hit rock bottom. Publix should be investigated for price gouging Net earnings for the fiscal year ended Dec. 30, 2023 were $4.3 billion, compared to $2.9 billion in 2022, an increase of 49%.
As people struggle to afford food. Publix just raises prices and watches people suffer
I needed Chanukah cards and gift…
I needed Chanukah cards and gift wrapping. GOOD LUCK ....NONE. Very sad that Publix is very happy to have Jewish customers and should realize that Chanukah is the Jewish equivalent of Christmas. Publix has no shortage of Jewish customers and should be respective of that. When I complained to the store manager is got the usual corporate BS.....
"I am very sorry about that and I will let corporate know about it"!....Good luck with that.
I remember when shopping was a pleasure…
I remember when shopping was a pleasure unfortunately for PUBLIX ITS NOW BECOME A LIVING HELL. Deli is always short staffed so is the sandwich area where you have to waite. ALL THE STORE MANAGERS ASST MANAGER'S ARE CLUELESS AND COULD NOT RUN THEMSELVES OUT OF A PAPER BAG. They always have an excuse not to help customers with the truth but to deflect or make up situations. GREAT JOB PUBLIX WHERE SHOPPING HAS NOW BECOME A LIVING HELL
WHERE'S THE BEEF! I'm a big fan of Publix since moving to…
I'm a big fan of Publix since moving to Florida Palm Beach in the 80's, and then Naples in 2019. The service is excellent, the stores are clean and well stocked. I always buy Public Brand products whenever they're available and have been more than pleased. However, I was disappointed after purchasing the Publix brand Homestyle Beef Pot Roast with Seasoned Gravy. Not only had the price had gone up since the last time I had bought it, (not
surprisingly), but it seemed that the quantity was less and additionally, there was an unacceptable amount of fat. Same great flavor though, thankfully, but again... disappointing. 🙁
Lately everything I buy is old
Lately everything I buy is old, I bought some grated Parmesan cheese it was old with mildew- I got a bag of lemons 2 days ago they are bad at least 3 of them. What is wrong with you? Selling old food on top of the fact that is so expensive?? Really?
Tested & Tired over drama
Publix at University Village Market 203 NW 13th St, Gainesville, FL 32601
I'm tired of being stereotyped at this store! It had been while until 12/14/24. I have had problems with managers not doing their job first by not properly training their staff for instance if someone need assistance rather than thinking or being trained to look suspiciously at every man whose carrying a backpack that doesn't look like a student. One time I even had a tall, caucasian, male Manger to profile me. He had immediately started following me when I had looked across my shoulder. There was this one time as I was leaving the store after checking out with a cashier, I had bent down between the exit and entrance to put up my wallet, this young lady look down at me so hard as if I was up to no good or stealing something. There was another time while shopping at this location a employee was watching me down the aisle suspiciously or as a "man starring hard at a beautiful woman" that makes them uncomfortable! I'm just so sick & tired of this crap. I have talked with the District Manager over Publix stores in this area and customer service to no avail. Because this store is as biased as hell. I understand that shoplifting still goes on but if you took the darn time to get to know your frequent shoppers, that I am it could be helpful to squash some of this.
They are taking advantage of customers…
They are taking advantage of customers with their high prices that continuous to go up, NO, six food items should not cost me $40. You are not helping the community. You are bringing us down.
There are better options. I rather drive another five miles to Kroger. Also, Food Lion and Aldi for certain items.
Shopping takes a bit longer because it takes time to get good deals and healthy choices. For example I went to Food Lion and I got everything that I wanted and it came up to $51 and wait a minute to my surprise the bill was reduced to $46. That never happened at Publix. At Aldi I found mangoes for .59 each and lemons also had a good price.
The bottom line is that times are hard enough why not invest in our shopping experience and keep money in our pocket.
I visited a Publix in NPR around….
I visited a Publix in NPR around 10:00-10:30am today and went to flower arrangements. I asked for help and they sent an older man from produce who said he is used in flower dept. He was rude, abrupt and nasty.

BEWARE!! PROCUDE
BEWARE!!! DO NOT BUY PRODUCE FROM PUBLIX. JUST PURCHASED CELELRY, GOT HOME, BROWN STALKS. THE BAGGER PLACED CANS ON TOP OF FRESH CHERRIES. TOOK NO CARE IN PACKING GROCERIES, JUST JAM 'EM IN, THE PRICES PUBLIX CHARGES, NO VALUE. I AM DONE WITH YOU, PUBLIX. WALMART AND SPROUTS ALL THE WAY!
Selling out of date stock
Visiting from the UK we have always loved a trip to Publix to buy our USA supplies !! This November visited store in Orlando and purchased Tonys Chowder as we have done many times before. Was putting cans away when we returned home and was disappointed to find both cans had best before dates on 19th Oct 2024 so out of date !!! Dont expect this from what is probably the most expensive grocery store. Will stick to Walmart for future visits.
Dog's rules should aply !!!
I guess Publix change the rules for no Dogs allowed, too many dogs on shopping carts, walking on the aisle, nobody care about it, GM told me he cannot ask for proper card ID,
OMG this is an safe protocol, not excuse, I will bring my retired Pitbull to get some meat, nobody should say an World from an retired Dog, I guess Publix at Cortez in Bradenton does not care about pets inside shopping, every single time is one walking on leash or on the cart,
Pet is not allowed, excuse me !!
No reason for these inflated prices.
I have never had a bad experience at any of the Publix stores I have frequented in Georgia or Florida. I am surprised, however, that Publix doesn't come out with a major commercial stating "Inflation STOPS here at PUBLIX,"... we at PUBLIX are not increasing the price on any item, within our store, for six-months because we're all in this together. My ass!
After all PUBLIX, you've screwed the public with 300% price increases over the past two and a half years only because you've elected to do so and luckily for you, you won't be subject to some congressional committee inquiry where you could blame these price increases on suppliers which would never back you up anyhow.
Our fearless government officials claim the inflation rate is at 2 or 3%. Probably true on refrigerators, washers and dryers; normally not a weekly purchase.
So, by playing the role of a real American, I'm pretty sure the uninformed public will buy into it like they did for BO. You and McDonalds have a lot in common in taking advantage of the situation for nothing more than financial gain; now, isn't that odd!
I still sometimes shop at the Publix even though your prices are generally 40% to 50% more (consistently) than Walmart. My trips are only for convenience and thankfully only a couple times a week and for very minor items.
Yesterday on a Saturday afternoon while…
Yesterday on a Saturday afternoon while shopping I picked up an asiago cheese bagel, for us to have for Sunday morning breakfast. It was very disappointing and stale
Cornish hens
When did Publix start using Cornish hens for their roasted chicken in the deli? In the past year, they have gotten so small. Nothing like they used to be. I guess that’s the deli way of dealing shrink inflation to their customers.
When I’m in store busying stuff try to…
When I’m in store busying stuff try to help how many I got it she said I know how to do I said thanks then do what ever you like then she angry to me name nalia in publix Smyrna
She not have to be rude with customer so easy even try help may be she see me ugly face
Publix is out of touch with the community they serve
I guess I didn’t realize how out of touch Publix is with the community they serve. 2 Hurricane hundreds if not thousands of roofs covered in blue tarps and this year they have fliers up asking us to donate $69.99 for a thanksgiving meal for 7-8 people. The way the country is right now most people are having a hard time feeding their own families, have added expense of new roofs and your asking for$69.99. What ever happened with cans and boxes of food at the end of the register for a few dollars. Maybe we could afford that now and then, really whoever thought of the 69.99 donation should be made to drive around the area and see what reality is in FL not in rich areas but the average FL family.
Publix is now a convenience store
Publix is the worst price gouging store in south Florida.
Publix brands are more expensive than brand names. Their eggs are more than England’s best
Diet Pepsi is cheaper at 7-11
I only use Publix now if I need 1 or 2 things. They have become my convenience store because they have become so greedy

Did you find everything you wanted ?
I get that when the cashier asks - did you find everything you needed ? And I usually say yes but when I say no - couldn’t find the Britta water filters . Totally ignored. Cashier just went on with the job. Sorry, but I was disappointed today . And that’s not usually the case.
