The young lady that served me enquired what I was looking for but she was not pushy, usually I was say "just looking". She was so helpful with the coffee machines and explained very well....I didnt buy one on that day but am definitely thinking more about it.....I then asked about the knives and she gave me a knife I was looking at and let me try it out on some vegetables...from that I bought a set of three....very good shopping experience which is sadly so lacking today in all areas.

Very helpful, friendly and enthusiastic staff. The shop offers a great range of quality items. I'm so pleased we still have shops like this in Truro, so we need ro support them and stop buying everything from Amazon.

On holiday in Cornwall, we saw some small cast iron casseroles in the Truro store for sale at £20. They were ideal for our needs but quite heavy. I asked a member of staff if delivery was expensive. She said it wasn't and we could order in the shop for delivery to our Yorkshire home. We bought three and took them to the desk. I was pleasantly surprised when the assistant said that there was no delivery charge for items of £60 or over. We placed the order in Truro on Thursday afternoon; they arrived safely at our home on Friday morning. An Extraordinary level of service.

When I was in the store I am disabled anwalk slow with a stick and my husband was looking for me and the lady was watching us like we were going to still the items

Bought the top of the range coffee machine, store experience good delivery quick but product useless, in use for 5 days, made about 10 cups of coffee but have had two major blockages on the grinder. The latest today have even had to resort to trying to use the vacuum cleaner to clear it, but after over half an hour of repeated dismantling, brushing, reassembly And retrying it still reports grinder overload. So in my view over priced junk that can’t even successfully grind coffee beans.

The retail experience was awful. Why employ people who clearly would prefer not to be there? We could have bought, say, four different sets of stock pots on line and returned the three we didn’t want, presumably resulting in you sending the returned items to landfill, but no we wanted to touch and feel the items. Truro has seen better days and unacceptable interaction with bored and unknowledgeable staff in your store, and possibly other Truro stores, does not encourage people to return to the “High Street”.
