Great product and great team. Have been receiving their foods for over a year now and only had one issue recently which they dealt with quickly and considerately - means they care about their customers. I have tried a number of "food service"…
I have tried a number of "food service" companies and have been left wanting in many ways. I was not hopeful of a better experience from Prep Kitchen. Im pleased to say my scepticism was unfounded. The DPD deliveries have been on time, and the packages have been well-protected. My initial reaction was that the portions looked small; however, all the meals we have enjoyed have satisfied our hunger pangs. Food is of great quality with tasty vegetables and meat that is fat free and full of flavour. Some dishes do come out of the microwave looking a little less than the chef would want them to in presentation, but that doesn't spoil the enjoyment, as so far the taste of the dishes has compensated for the look. We are a busy family, and using Prep Kitchen a couple of nights a week has taken pressure off us when looking to get to Football/Rugby/Swimming while trying to ensure good quality food for the family. The app is easy to use, and we like the fact that we can change meals easily. The call we received from Sam to check how our experience had been was a nice touch.

Very good meal service
The food quality is excellent, and delivery is very customizable. I personally get the 5 meals a week plan, and there are a variety of options to choose from. On one occasion, one box was slightly damaged, but otherwise all the meals were great. I spoke to Sam over the phone, and she kindly gave me a discount for the next meal. These meals are very helpful, especially when I am working full-time, as they help me avoid ordering food delivery and stick to my diet.

I’ve been with Prep for 5 years now! Wow, what a while. It only goes to show how much I love them. The quality of ingredients is excellent. I appreciate their high protein meals and have many favourites that I order on repeat. It saves me time, money and stress of having to shop and cook. I do occasionally try competitors but still happy to stick with Prep. as a fussy eater I like their recipes and seasoning the most :)

Since starting my weight loss journey I have tried a handful of meal subscriptions and Prep is honestly the best one out there. The meals are always delicious, there’s a good variety but it’s not overwhelming to choose what you want each week. The portion sizes are perfect and they keep me full. I also find the app easy to use and it’s the food always tastes fresh with high quality ingredients. 10/10

I’m 61 yrs old and started prep kitchen…
I’m 61 yrs old and started prep kitchen 4 weeks ago to help with weight loss as meals were on offer. These meals are delicious ( once you find your favourites). Easy delivery and I love that they can be frozen too. I travel a lot so am also really happy that I can pause my subscription, rather than cancel. I was also super impressed that Kate phoned me, to check on my feedback. I absolutely rate this company 10/10 and I’ve tried many equivalents!

Received MOULDY CHICKEN!! Don't Use!!
One of the meals I received contained visibly mouldy chicken. The worst part is that I had already eaten some of the meal before noticing it. Completely unacceptable and honestly disgusting from a company selling “fresh” prepared food.
This is not just poor quality control — it is a serious food safety issue. There is no excuse for contaminated food making its way through packaging, preparation, and dispatch without being noticed.
I have photographic evidence of the mouldy chicken and have formally complained requesting a refund and compensation. Customers should not have to worry about getting ill from food ordered from a professional meal prep company.
Needless to say, I will not be ordering from Prep Kitchen again and would strongly caution others before trusting them with their food.

We’re very sorry to hear about the concern this caused, especially after you had already started eating the meal. We completely understand why the appearance of the ingredients in the photo was alarming and why you felt strongly about the experience.
In the interest of being completely transparent to anyone reading this review, we carried out a full investigation with our kitchen team and can confirm that what was identified in the meal was not mould, but a combination of coriander, chives, celery and green pepper that had not fully blended during preparation. While we appreciate this looked unpleasant and understandably caused concern, there was no food safety risk identified.
We have already contacted you directly to explain this in full, and the matter has now been resolved. Food safety is something we take extremely seriously and we would never knowingly dispatch meals that pose a risk to our customers. Every meal goes through strict quality control checks before leaving our kitchen, and we are continuing to review this internally to ensure consistency in preparation and presentation.
We appreciate the opportunity to address this openly and clarify the situation for both you and anyone reading the review.

I’ve been receiving prep kitchen meals…
I’ve been receiving prep kitchen meals for around 4 weeks now and I love them. They are so convenient as I work odd hours. And I’ve loved almost all of them. The menu changes every week so there’s a variety as I’m not someone who can eat the same meal everyday. I have lost 4lbs already and don’t even feel like I’m on a diet. I was apprehensive as a lot of the meals are chicken and I’ve always not felt right eating chicken microwave meals as store brought ones I’ve always had a funny squidgy bit of chicken but I’ve not had any problems at all. The chicken is lovely. Prep kitchen have rang me twice to see how I was getting on and I spoke to Sam on the phone today who was lovely. Once I explained my discount runs out next week and even though I will still be continuing to recieve prep kitchen meals I will order fewer to save some pennys but she straight away put the discount on for me again for the next 4 following weeks and said to ring them once them 4 weeks are up and they will add on a more long term discount which was amazing. Can’t recommend them enough and Thankyou to Sam who has helped me out. Really appreciated X

I really appreciate the variety of options to choose from, and have some firm favourites like the Spicy Korean Chicken.
The food is always well packaged and arrives cool from the cold packs included in the package. My deliveries on Mondays all usually have use by dates of Thursday or Friday which means nothing ever goes to waste.
I also appreciate the brilliant customer service from Sam who checked in on how I'm finding the service, and made sure I'm getting the best value from my subscription - thanks Sam!

3rd week in and the meals are so tasty! I order 15 meals a week and theres only a couple that I didn't like. Theres such a wide variety of different food which I love, ive tried things and combinations ive never tried before. Veg i dont like but somehow tastes really good.
I had 1 hiccup on recent order.. 2 of my meals had burst open at the bottom but I contacted support and Rebecca replied pretty much instantly and gave me 3 free meals on my next order which im more than satisfied with.
Great company, Great support, the food is not bland, there's so much choices and variety. Orders have always been on time. Can't rate them high enough!
