First Clean Done
Since moving into my new home, never had our windows cleaned. Based on people reviews / price we decided to give the company a go. I had my first clean done, and was very happy with the result. The guy who came round was very professional. Would recommend to use.

Disappointing
I was expecting a really good experience from Preen and Clean after all the stunning reviews but I’m afraid it hasn’t been great. I’ve had 4 cleans. The first clean was pretty good and communication channels reasonably efficient but trying to reorganise a visit with only a days notice last week was a nightmare. Recent cleans have left spider webs in some window corners and vertical lines of water spots on my windows. No response to email , WhatsApp not seen or responded to, telephone goes straight to answer machine though I did get a response to my phone message but too late to reorganise. Despite having managed to cancel my contract out of sheer frustration and request that the visit be cancelled, the agent still turned up to clean when I was on holiday and only half the number of windows to my house were accessible. Too much stress!

Looking into your account, we can see that two of your cleans were rescheduled, one due to access issues on the street and another due to a technician falling ill. Unfortunately, these situations are sometimes out of our control, but both cleans were successfully rearranged and completed, and we weren’t made aware of any issues with those cleans at the time.
We’re also sorry to hear about the difficulty you experienced when trying to get in touch. While our lines can be busy during the day, we do always return calls and we can see we attempted to call you back and requested further details via message, but didn’t receive a response.
In terms of the cleaning itself, we didn’t receive any reports regarding spider webs or spotting, and we would always encourage customers to let us know straight away so we can address any concerns promptly.
We sincerely apologise that the cancellation wasn’t processed correctly and that a technician attended while you were away, we understand how frustrating that must have been, and this should not have happened.

The guy was here first thing in the morning which was great because I didn't have to stay in the house all day he was kind, courteous and very well mannered.
Although there was a couple of smears on the windows afterwards which can be expected he did an amazing job thanks once again.

Really friendly young man came to clean the windows. He worked really hard and it was a very hot day. The windows looked fantastic when he had finished. I will definitely be getting them to come again on a regular basis. Excellent service and an excellent company. I will be informing all my neighbours.

I had my first windows clean yesterday…
I had my first windows clean yesterday with Brian, he introduced himself and explained to me that with the first clean I might gets streaks/spots but it only happens because of what may have been used on the windows by the last window cleaner I had…and also with how long my windows haven’t been cleaned for.
I had a window cleaner before who used a ladder…I noticed he wasn’t cleaning my windows properly and sometimes would miss my small side windows out but still taking the same amount of money for all my windows and he broke the glass on my floodlight with his ladder so I sacked him….🐰😠 i got another window cleaner which I had to sack again because he broke a part of my small wooden fence with his rubber pipe and then he marked my car without saying anything and only used cold water on my windows which he didn’t take 2 mins to clean and my windows wasn’t that clean after….not a very happy Bunny🐰😠 so I’ve gone with preen & clean and I am delighted with the first clean by Brian he was very polite and respected my property and like I said explained what would happen with my first clean and if I wasn’t satisfied that if I ring them they would come back and do them again of course free of charge…he even did my front and back doors and to use hot water which is much better then cold makes a big difference, you get what you pay for…..the other two window cleaners I had before wasn’t doing a good job for what I was paying and no respect for my property!!
Ps:- Nearly forgot to mention you have a choice of how you pay preen & clean either by “Cash - Debit - Bank transfer - Phone.
Thank you preen & clean and especially “Brian” see you next time, keep up the good work…so far one Happy Bunny lady🐰😊

Would have given 5 stars but the date kept changing for our 1st clean,but once he was here couldn’t fault the service ,hopefully they will return every 4 weeks as requested.Paid cash direct to the guy on the day which I prefer to do .

We completely understand how frustrating it can be when dates change. While this can occasionally happen due to factors outside of our control such as sickness, traffic or other unexpected delays, we always aim to keep our customers informed and updated if any changes are needed.
For ongoing visits, we aim to complete 4-weekly cleans within a 28-day cycle (and 8-weekly within 56 days). Sometimes we may arrive a few days either side to allow flexibility with scheduling around holidays, breakdowns and busy periods.
If we’re ever more than a week later than expected and you’re concerned we may have missed you, please don’t hesitate to contact us and our team will be happy to update you.

Poor
I have had windows cleaned 3 times in total by this company, once initially followed by a reclean and once yesterday. The "cleaned" windows look worse than before the visit on all three occasions. The water is not removed or dried so there are water marks left behind. It doesn't matter how many recleans you offer if the method is not fit for purpose. I have now cancelled my agreement. I cannot understand all the rave reviews, I can only assume people have low standards. Very disappointing.

We appreciate you giving us the opportunity to revisit the windows, and we’re disappointed that you still weren’t happy with the result. We use a purified hot water system, which is a widely used professional window cleaning method that does not involve manually drying the glass. The purified water is designed to dry naturally without leaving marks when used correctly.
That said, we understand that every property and every window can be different. Previous products, soaps, chemical residues, hard water deposits, and existing build-up can sometimes affect the finish, and in some cases it can take multiple cleans for the glass to fully recover.
We’ve passed your feedback on to our customer service team so we can review the visits and the outcome. We’re always happy to investigate concerns where a customer feels the service hasn’t been delivered to the expected standard.

Windows not cleaned but chasing payment.
Used for a while and were fine nothing to shout about.
My windows were due to be cleaned in March and no one showed up and it got pushed back to June. In June I got a text saying it has been done (it hadn't) and now I keep getting chased for payment even though I have contacted them numerous times about this and they acknowledged the windows had not been cleaned.
Wouldn't use or recommend.
Edit: since my initial post they asked for some further details so they could look into the matter, nothing has changed I still get a weekly text asking for payment.
