Worst company ever
Wish I had had a look at reviews before I used them. They have sent me out the complete wrong item. I rang them up to report it and sort out a return and a refund. The guy I spoke to on the phone was the rudest human I have ever spoke to me sarcastic and not apologetic or sorry at all he also found it funny that I do not own or have acsess to a computer aparrently everyone who buys online is ment to have a printer on hand to make up for for their own mistakes. I am now 2 weeks out of pocket for an item I ordered but wasent even sent to them be told if their random item they have sent me is not in immaculate condition I won't get my money back. Useless company it accept no responsibility for it's mistake it also offers no apologies or compensation for express delivery I paid. For item again I have not received the right one. Everyone can make mistakes and get things wrong but it how they deal with the mistakes and put them right. They don't even recognise they made a mistake or let me job down. Just want to phobb you off the phone as quick as possible. Will never touch the company again.

Following your scathing review of our company I have taken time out to investigate this matter and your comments concerning my staff.
You ordered a 12v Milwaukee Blower from us and in error we supplied an 18v Milwaukee Blower. Following your contact with our company informing us of our incompetence in supplying the correct machine first time round and just how much inconvenience our error caused you emphasised on a number of occasions during discussions as we tried and correct at the earliest opportunity.
As you are aware we immediately sent you a return label in order that the wrong 18v machine could be uplifted at the earliest allowing us to swap to the 12v machine originally orders. At the time of posting this rely some 2 months later I note that you have not returned the superior 18v machine to us and must assume that receiving the uprated 18v machine was not such a hardship originally pointed out to my staff on a number of occasions.
Can I also point out that you mistakenly list the express delivery option you paid for. We do not offer an express delivery option through our website therefore you could not have paid for this method of delivery from us. You also state in your review that in your own words "you do not own or have access to a computer", as the only way to place an order with us is by using a computer to access our website I am at a complete loss as to how you managed to place your initial order with us.
You did receive an apology from us both by phone and e-mail, I have the copy we sent you, we endeavoured to assist you to correct a human error however as this was insufficient according to you we have now closed this matter and are pleased to inform you that we wholeheartedly agree with at least one point of the final points posted in your reply.
Can I also point our that we no longer use Trustpilot as our preferred method of collecting customer reviews, currently we show over 12k reviews from satisfied customers live on the website. We originally asked you to review, as we do with all customer, some 7 days after placing your order with us, I note you did not take the opportunity to place any review at this time through our current review company

I made an order, three days on, no update on the delivery time, just to emails on the first day, the order confirmation and “the way the delivery works”, but still no delivery date.

You were good enough to place an order with us on the 23rd February and as per the website delivery was listed as 3 to 4 working days at this time. We shipped on the Friday 24th and an SMS message was sent that evening informing you that the order had shipped out our warehouse and would be delivered on Monday 27th February. You must have got that message as you informed us on the Monday that you would not be at home and as we shipped by Parcelforce could you pick it up at the post office.
Slightly later than normal we were able to confirm by e-mail exactly where and what post office the goods had been safety left at allowing you to collect at 12.35pm on Tuesday 28th February. We are at a total loss as to why you would on a Sunday afternoon leave this negative post regarding your order. We acted correctly and exactly to time including your requirement to collect as you would not be at the stated delivery address

Taking orders but not delivering for weeks
Placed an order on December 26. Got a confirmation email but no mention that they were on holiday until January 4. The website didn't mention this either. I would have shopped somewhere else, had I known this.

Clarke Garage purchase, tech problem quickly resolved
Bought a Clarke Garage which arrived remarkably quickly a year ago (2021)
I noticed that part was starting to fail in 2022 and contacted Powertools uk via email. Within a few hours a replacement was promised.
While I would rather be able to deal via a call as it seems a bit impersonal to deal Only via email. I'm still inclined to award 5 stars

I ordered tool that was need on site within a day or two, I paid for fast delivery, today is the 5th days, so far no delivery yet been received, we purchasing a tools regularly using different suppliers, this is the worst ever suppliers regards to the delivery they promised.
We order tools which sometimes needed to be received on promises, we will never again use this suppliers, this was the fist and last time to use.

No power tools, no refund
Order £650 odd of power tools. 4 days later received an email saying my money was going to be refunded as I am a "3rd party". Been a while and I'm still without refund. Being a tradesmen I need my tools to earn a living, waiting for my refund is impacting work load, which in turn impacts cash flow. I'm not a wealthy man, I only get by. Speak to customer service and they are unhelpful and rude between the lines.
I pay for my items in full and it comes out instantly, and they can't seem to clarify who I am (why does this even matter)? Smells like a money scam to me.
Pay a little more money and save the agro.

You placed your order on Sunday 2nd May at 15.18pm, we picked up your order on Monday morning and contacted you regarding your 3rd party delivery address.
We tried to assist you, as it clearly states when ordering on the website that we do not deliver to 3rd party private addresses. We also informed you the billing address did not pass standard financial security checks allowing us to ship over £500 +vat of goods.
As you were unable to assist in trying to clear this order we had no choice but to fully refund back to your c/card yesterday Wednesday 4th May, less than 48hrs since starting to tried an assist.
Power Tools UK takes security for both our customers and ourselves very seriously, we tried to assist without success so immediately refunded you. As you tried to pay by c/card you are obviously not aware that your refund may take up to 3 working days to clear back to the card holder. This is totally out of our control but will be cleared in plenty of time before you have to settle the bill and will not therefore impact into your work load
If you had followed the simple procedures that 100's of other satisfied customers follow you would have had a cracking suite of tools delivered by today and we would have been £500+ better off sales wise. Money scams do not I repeat do not give the money back!!!!!!!

Absolute joke ordered online to wrong address called to change address said was all good and recieve withing 2 days I then waiting and checked emails and received asking thaybi had to confirm again , I called and confirmed then they Said they I have to respond to.the email which I did they told.me.then is was okay then they told me.it.moght now be in stock I then later recover another email saying they need to no who's address it is so they can check.been waiting over a week and then I just received I refund such a joke do jot use

Excellent always until they don't…
Excellent always until they don't believe you that one of your orders are faulty. You are sent a manufacturers warranty application when you want to report a faulty item and you have to pay for returns shipping. I will use them again. Just was annoyed at the returns experience.

This company do a bad job at updating their online catalogue where they have no stock but allow you to order and pay first before they check whether the item is in stock. In my opinion this isn’t good enough and is quite amateurish…I won’t bother with this company again.

During these very difficult times it can be extremally difficult to hold the correct amount of a general stocked product listed through our website and also secure replacement stock from the manufacturer in an acceptable time to our customers should we run short.
We are experiencing runs on products never seem before as other trade dealers run short, products that did sell 10 times weekly through our website, now experiencing 50 sales in 2/3 days. This has created a slight time lag on out of stock notifications, normally not a problem however just occasionally the computers will take an order before the warehouse confirm that we have physically exhausted all bin stock in the warehouse
Apologies that this happened in your case I can assure you that it is not our intention to take an order from a customer that we cannot fulfil, costs us in fees and tees off the customer as in this case

Hi has anyone used the katsu 120cm tile cutter. The one thing I'm looking to find out is when calibrating this tile cutter do you just hand tighten the 8 bolts where the bearings are or are they to be tightened up hard with hex key provided.

Would recommend to anyone
While looking for the tools I wanted this company came up first, with the prices significantly cheaper and with better contents (bigger battery’s) I originally thought it would be too good to be true. While digging deeper I found some terrible and recent reviews. I thought if something did go wrong I could always open a claim and so on, when ordering its was a seamless experience (ordered on a Sunday afternoon) I got my shipment info from Parcelforce 2 days later and on the 3rd day it was here. Box was well packaged with bubble wrap surrounding all sides of my parcel with everything being correct and in immaculate condition. I would definitely shop here again and would 100% recommend to anyone

Received an item not as described
Received an item not as described. Seller claimed it was an oversight. Told them I wanted to return for a refund, had to chase them for a returns label they said they'd send and didn't.
They recieved the item back 7 days ago and I still haven't had my money back. Have now opened a claim case on PayPal, but this takes time. Not happy as I'm £47 out of pocket!
