Great experience from reception to collecting my car after software upgrade
Darien was fantastic
Thanks again

Really poor at refunding money they owe.
Bought a car from Porsche Centre Exeter back in 2022. Was worried about repair costs, so bought an expensive follow on warranty from them.
Never heard from them again. No follow up, and no courtesy call to ask how the car was. That’s poor, especially when the salesman said that is what he would do.
2025, the Porsche got traded in. Contacted Exeter to ask how I can comply with the Warranty refund process. I followed this to the letter, but was told it could take a month.
Nearly six weeks later I am still waiting for the money (over £1,000). Worst thing is the lack of communication and lame excuses every time you ask about the refund.
9th July, still no refund Porsche.
WHY?
Lessons learned: don’t buy a Porsche, and definitely don’t buy a warranty from them.
15th July, no refund!!!!
16th July, refund. Like getting blood out of a stone. Shocking brand.
Excellent experience dealing with…
Excellent experience dealing with Preston Porsche, we would give them 10 stars if we could, Dan & Stewart really looked after us, if you are looking for a new Porsche then you should give these guys a call
Truly awful communication
Truly awful communication, no one responsible for faults or errors. Promised return calls that never happen. Despite high end promises and expectations this is the worst experience I’ve had with a car service team. I would never buy another Porsche just based on Preston team.

My 2024 Taycan Turbo refuses to charge on AC & DC . I was travelling to my office in Germany from the UK and got as far has Gent in Belgium .I took my car to a near Porsche Centre and they tried for 4 hrs to find the fault but no luck. I was then advised to call Porsche Assist, this is where the fun starts . I explained the situation to them but they said I would have to wait for the breakdown service to tell the car could not be repaired and they could start the process of recovering my vehicle. After around six more calls by me and 2hrs later I got a call from the breakdown service who asked how far I was from charging point. I told around one metre so he said we’ll plug in it in then. After explaining the situation again he asked if I was joking, I said I wished I was but sadly not he then said it’s no point us coming out and said he would email Porsche Assist on my behalf. I waited around for a an hour or and rang Porsche Assist and again and was then told it was too late to get a hire car so it’s best if they booked me and my wife a hotel for the after a lot of confusion they gave me an address of a hotel. It was now 2300 hrs me and my wife had been travelling since 0200 but when we got to the hotel it was in darkness and locked up. I rang Porsche Assist again and was told it would be best if I could find a hotel myself and they said sorry. The next morning I rang Porsche Assist again and asked about a hire car to carry on with my journey but I was told this would be impossible because I would have to cross boarders and hire car companies don’t do that. I booked my own car after I was asked to take a train or a coach. My car was finally delivered to a Porsche service centre in Germany last week that has only taken 15 days I still don’t have a replacement car and not lot of confidence in Porsche. I own 2 2024 Taycans and was thinking of trading them in and buying the new model but not anymore I will be looking at BMW I think.

Porsche dealers in the UK are extremely poor and I have dealt with a number of branches. Trying to get through to any department is a nightmare, phones ring out until a message to leave a message in the voicemail box, only to then be told the' inbox is full please try later.'
Why are they unable to get the basics right? They are supposed to be representing a prestigious brand.
Electrical fault

Sent Porsche customer service a query two weeks ago received the standard response no reply email stating dealing with my request and nothing
Bad client service
While traveling in Italy, I had a problem with the air conditioning in my Macan S with an outside temperature of 29 degrees. I called Porsche Assistance in Switzerland, who told me to call my garage in Switzerland. Thank you, it's Sunday. My next purchase will be Asian, with real customer service.
Not acceptable.
Very disappointing. If you want to waste a years energy and time, repeat your story ten times to uninterested employees, get the run around, have more delays, think you have escalated the issue but you just go round in circles, with no assistance at the end - phone these guys?
Frightening to think this is the official complaints line for a product like a Porsche. Just pray you don't have issues!! Or buy another brand if you expect customer care.
Poor corporate repair customer service …
My wife and I both drive Porsche vehicles. I bought a CPO targa a few years back and extended the warranty for 6 years. Power module allegedly went out, part was ordered and Porsche keeps moving the shipping week out from Germany with no other status. They are either incompetent or don’t care about their customers or a combination of both. Give a realistic shipping date for parts. Frankly, for a vehicle under warranty it should not be a month plus to receive a shipping confirmation for a part. I expect this from cheap car manufacturers, not Porsche. You lost a dedicated customer and buyer beware.
Extremely Disappointed with Porsche
I recently attempted to extend the warranty on my Porsche Taycan through Porsche Centre Brooklands and was met with an inflexible and inconvenient process. The dealership insisted that I make a 1.5-hour round-trip solely to sign a document in person. When I questioned why this couldn't be handled remotely, I was told it was due to FCA regulations. However, other FCA-regulated financial products like mortgages, bank accounts, and car insurance can all be arranged without needing to be physically present.
I also contacted the Porsche Customer Interaction Centre for assistance but they told me as well that I needed to make the drive to a dealership to sign a piece of paper.
What made it worse was the complete lack of flexibility or willingness to explore other solutions, such as posting the document for me to sign. For a premium brand, I expected much better customer service and a more forward-thinking approach. Instead, I was met with inconvenience, poor communication, and no effort to make the process easier.
This experience has left me extremely disappointed and questioning the level of customer service provided by Porsche Centre Brooklands and Porsche UK.
No answer to complaint
I have written a complaint to Porsche UK via e-mail which they suggest. I have sent 4 e-mails now without the courtesy of a response to any?
I copied in Germany and at least got an auto response.
Issue still not resolved.
Poor service from what was was described a premium brand!
Horrible company with no customer service
Horrible company with no customer service.
Brand new Cayenne came with awful quality leather seats and now I am stuck with it. Leather rose up forming a small dome like shape within a week of owning the car. Porsche do not respond to me or the dealership.
The worst company I've ever dealt with!
The worst company I've ever dealt with!
I have a Porsche Taycan with 14,500 miles on it.
It is the worst vehicle I have ever had and and the customer service is by far the worst part of dealing with porsche.
11 Months of ownership has seen the car in garage 10 times.
This is with a failed heating unit, that now it has been replaced means that the air con rattles.
A repeat electrical system fault that us under a recall but they cannot actually fix (8 times the car has been in the service center since October to still not fix this problem)
The car is under warranty but porsche do not seem to care.
Due to these faults I have asked for a an extended warranty or similar age/mileage replacement. This has been going on for months.
I am on my 3rd case "manager" at porsche still yet to get any closer to a resolution. They promise updates but you have to call to even get the chance of an update.
The only highlight of dealing with porsche is that the Mercedes courtesy cars provided by enterprise have been lovely!
I have "escalated" my complaint today. Whatever this means and am now hoping I might get somewhere.
Bought a brand new 911 GTS in Dec 2022
Bought a brand new 911 GTS in Dec 2022. It had a really annoying sunroof rattle straight from the factory. x2 OPC's have tried to fix it several times with no luck, despite me having to spend my time (& mileage) taking it around the country and losing the use of the car for them to attempt to fix. It's still not fixed and I'm nearly 3-years in! Fed up with it.
They talk about history and pedigree but can't even build a car that doesn't rattle. My dad's Hyundai doesn't rattle.....maybe I should get one of them.....
Customer service doesn't really exist, they just send you back to the OPC's who keep half trying to fix it so in the end, you spent a lot of money and they actually don't care.
Loved Porsche my whole life, unfortunately it's coming to an end......
Porsche … you ruined my dream
Based on other reviews and the fact we are all saying the same thing I suggest we take some action.. (and don’t even think about court, as one reviewer mentioned, as they will have such a ridiculously expensive legal team they will wipe the floor with us.. (and if you think otherwise look up the case of the actor Paul Walker and his friend.. they may not have been at fault but in such a high profile case .. money is normally exchanged!) but frankly we are far too easygoing in Britain as consumers so as we’ve all taken the painful time and sucked the fun out of our lives by warning others of the many issues with buying Porsche currently .. could as many people as possible copy and paste what they have written and send, in the order below (as unfortunately in order to get to the ombudsman you have to complete these steps first) to:
- written complaint to the dealership
- Porsche
- The Motor Ombudsman
The Motor ombudsman only deals with certain matters and some of our complaints may not fall under them but if 80% of people on Trust Pilot alone are giving Porsche 1* then it may make the ombudsman take action.. I attend porsche shows etc as I’m sure many of you do as Porsche is a personable brand and the people who buy Porsche’s are actually great ambassador’s for Porsche. I will be talking to people a lot more about this .. we have two coming up in the summer..we have already attended a couple at Lympstone Manor celebration of speed as well as others… some damming reviews were exchanged then by Porsche drivers.
It’s sad but after 3 porsche’s , the last two being 911’s (this one a targa that is less than two years old and broke down due to the transmission failing after just one week of ownership , then had condensation in the rear strip light, a flat battery which caused 40 diagnostic faults to flag up after (as they are so software based now.. as the AA mechanics say … moving computers ) admittedly can’t be 100% sure i turned the engine off so i’ve not reported that one but if I didn’t it’s the first time in my 25 years of driving that I haven’t turned the engine off.. and only the second time I’ve had a flat battery.. the first being my 8 year old Nissan Micra and that stayed out of the garage more than any of my Porsche’s.. I also had the windows wouldn’t go up and down and then went up and got stuck on the outside of the roof letting rain in (same happened on last 911) and now yes finally… after 3 convertibles.. it was coming… da da the roof got stuck halfway down (thankfully went back up or I would have become a FB meme) oh yes and the sat navs never work, mine has been in night mode for the last 6 months and my settings are wiped constantly and i am now known as ‘guest’. After having two 911’s , one approved and one new, Targa was around £150k ish … Porsche 911 around £120k and a brand new Boxster before that … no they don’t care as to:
A) Whether you have had one Porsche or 40.. loyalty is sadly no longer a thing at Porsche (it was)
B) how much you spend ( not that that should matter )
C) If you are Elon Musk (even he won’t get a free umbrella or good customer service from Porsche)
I hate to say it .. and I know this is harder for people like the guy on here who has had ten Porsches ( He has a broken boot .. just fix it and don’t charge him honestly he’s had ten cars you owe the guy!! He’s kept you going through the bad times as well as the good times) it does mean not buying a Porsche.. it may not be forever but a break would do us good to get on with our lives in a happier manner and it’s the only way they’re going to take their head out of the sand .. it’s just not getting through and if anything it’s got worse (I believe last year on Trustpilot when I looked they were about 3.5* so in a year alone they have dropped to 1.5* and all one 5* reviewer could say was “excellent fuel consumption” thanks mate, that was enlightening.. hardly a ‘review’ .. probably written by someone at Porsche who couldn’t bring themselves to lie.. to be fair I say the same .. excellent fuel consumption and tyres … shame it’s ornamental rather than functional though.
But.. do be warned this is not exclusive to Porsche.. Range Rover.. it sounds like stealing them may be pointless as you’re likely to break down, Mercedes also not good, Ferrari on Trustpilot have around 1.5* as do McClaren and they both did last year when I was going to switch …and lets not even get started on the bizarreness that is the BMW run flat tyres. I think they are getting cars out in such a flurry that they are relying on updates and recalls and the service dept cannot keep up… that is worrying.. they are heavily relying on Porsche Assist .. who are the AA.. that is a sign of desperation … something is going to give and it will get worse before it gets better… get out before it costs you more.
Customer comes last
What a shambles. I won't bore you with the details, but this must be the worst customer service in the car industry. They charge you over £100,000 for a car, then treat you with utter contempt.
Their slogan should be "Customer Comes Last".
Would be no stars
Would be no stars, if possible.
Purchased Taycan multiple issues the dealer, Porsche GB and VW Finance are all guilty of terrible service, ignoring calls and not treating customers fairly . My car has been in the garage for 4 months and still no resolution, avoid Porsche and vw finance at all costs. The worst service I have ever received.
