Bought a Mitsubishi heatpump in 2021. Worked fine for 4 years but stopped working on day of 30 degrees. Called Polarpumpen August 2025 to start warranty repair, now October 2025 and it's still broken.

Awful communication, when you eventually call they have no news, waiting on Mitsubishi, waiting on repair company.
Never accept any responsibility. Ended up forced to pay 6000 for a portable AC to keep computer equipment cool.

Defective pump throughout the winter with no action from Polarpumpen despite a 5 year warranty. Balled back and forth without the Polar pump giving a damn.

Timely delivery and great service

They delivered a product that should not have been sold in Sweden. They then called to ask for it back but so far they have not collected it. Before that they promised to arrange an installer for the heating system and rarely called back. They didn't send an invoice. In fact everything they did was a failure.

I ordered a smart home device from this company worth more than 5000 SEK. They never sent it. More than half a year later, I get an invoice to pay for it. Then I had to go through annoying calls with their debt collector to void the invoice and still ended up getting charged a 99 SEK return fee for something that never came to my door.

What went wrong:
1. The cover of the outdoor unit was damaged. I have complained the damage to the company by mail including a picture of the damage.
2. The installation was not done properly. When drilling a hole through a brick of the house, the brick came loose and finally broke into two pieces.
3. After my complanints by phone and by mail of the above items to the complaints unit of the company I have sent them there required documents/photos.
After that the company has not returned to me, even I have tried to reach them a number of times. Total silence from the complaints unit!

Purchase and installation plus product was great. I offered the installation team free ride with boat to our house out on an island and offered them free parking for their car - despite this you charged us 2500 kr just because their car could not drive to the house where the installation was done. Not really able to recommend you due to this.

I couldn,t get contact with you. Wrote several Mails without result. Phoned you and sat in cue for ours without contact.

After à lot of contacts I have not found how to control the pump via aircontrol and GSM.

A bit noisy but works OK. Value for money is really good.

Polarpumpen's business model is to sell products and then be acting as a broker for the service providers doing the necessary installation. This leaves you as a customer in a void between different companies that may change until your product is installed. This would be a nightmare for Polarpumpen to take end to end responsibility for so when things don't go according to the happy path all agreements are making sure the customer is responsible and have to take the extra cost. If you need a company to upfront help you figure out the best solution for you, what it will cost and then take full responsibility for their commitments, polarpumpen might not be for you. Polarpumpen may seem like the best alternative upfront but consider this is likely for an ideal scenario that may not happen.

I bought a Luft vatten värmepump but polarpumpen could not offer the installation in my area. The guy who sold me the heating pump ensured me that I was easy to find someone who could be able to install it… that’s no true!!! No company was willing to install it because warranting reasons… at the end, after 2 months, we found a company but with the risk that it something went wrong to the pump, we will have to pay everything by our own…

For me personal contact is really important and that a person comes out first on a visit to discuss location of heat pump and the installation options.

As this is not done the decision is needed to be taken together with the installer at the same time he/she comes to install. It is handled in a rush and with some limitations.

Expensive installation. The pump was expensive to install in relation to the time used by the technician who did the physical installation.

I great company with strong digital process for buying a heat-pump. I bought a really good Mutsubishi pump with installation. I could tell the installation was very well done.
