This company developed Township which in the App Store markets itself as suitable for children 4+, and on the face of it looks to be child-friendly (even just the artwork in App Store is very child-centric). So I found that there is a co-op function that you cannot disable where random players can actually message each other and my 5 year old was told the following by a member: “F-king a**holes I been helping you all the time and you don’t give me s**t. F*king narcissist c*nts”. AVOID THIS GAME AT ALL COSTS! flagrantly irresponsible game design. Anyone could be messaging children and asking them for personal info. Shame on them

WARNING! The algorithm of this game is the BEST I've ever seen and finding every possible way to FRUSTRATE you into spending real money! This does include the game CHEATING you on puzzles to consistently strand you with no moves and just 1 thing left to do. Truly the most OBNOXIOUS and BLATANT effort to money grab you. Customer service is truly AWFUL and will duck/dodge any concerns and instead blame YOU! I am joining the growing crowd who is DELETING this game that the greedy creators RUINED!

I have been playing Baryarn for a couple of years. I love that it is old fashioned and that the search items are easy to relate to . It is important that there are games available to those of us who are not as young as we used to be. Thank you Playrix

Like with Fishdom and Gardenscapes, both Playrix games, I lost my progress. Have requested help multiple times, to no avail. They claim that they get back to within 48 hours. I have been waiting and requesting for about 2 weeks. I have uninstalled all 3 games. Too frustrating.

Recent updates have caused more problems than anything else. No one in my group likes the changes. You want more money to fund the Russia/Ukraine war? You wont get it from ,e.

Rigged pay to win. Challenges in game to ruin streaks. Get candy crush for free.

I was enjoying playing the game until I realised the Israeli link through the owners. I investigated after I couldn’t name my town on township as Free Palestine and then I tried the same with Israel and it was okay. It also censors the word Palestine on the chat function. Ridiculous! Israel is an apartheid state and committing a genocide against the Palestinians. Boycott!

I'm sorry. I have to rant here. I know some of you might call me a crybaby or whatever, but you would rant too if you had to spend three weeks passing an impossible level just because you don't have money to spend on power ups.
But I have had it. This is Fishdom level 649. I have spent days without money trying to pass this level.
I have gone to YouTube for tutorial help, but to no avail. The tutorial shows that they can make several boosters, whereas I can make no more than three matches. If I do, it's only a couple of four matches. And when new pieces come down, there are no automatic power ups.
When I do get the rare power ups, I am forced to use it on the oil slick which expands everytime I'm forced to make a three-match move that is not near it.
I'd love to show you a picture, but if you google the level number above it may show you what I need as there is a technical issue with sharing the picture.
If there is anyone at all who can help me out, "without" passing judgement that would be a great help. I'm sure you all know how I feel. Because there may be some of you who are prideful enough to say they pass every level no worries without power ups. Well, I'm not one of those people. I'm sorry to rant, but I am just done. I love these puzzle games, but if Playrix is just out there to rob people of their money just pass levels, it makes me sick and I will no longer be a party to it.
In my opinion, it is 100 times worse than gambling. Because in gambling you have a chance to win some money, but in Playrix, you lose all money and never get it back. Ever!

Their games are totally rigged!
They look like children's games, but they are a real scam organized to steal from players!
They are scammers who should be reported!

Some levels are impossible to beat without spending money. All the prices have doubled. 2.99 used to buy 50 diamonds, now it buys 30 diamonds. It’s 7.99 for 50🤷. Every purchase in the game is more expensive, for less reward.
The more you play the more you get charged. My friend is on a lower level and can buy the same packages for much less money..
Also, we don’t all get the same bonus’s. There’s a double booster which I’ve never had, but other people do. The higher level you reach, the less the give you and the more they charge. Level 7600

I had questioned purchases in the app on multiple occasions but started watching them closely more recently. There were two instances where coins were on sale (holiday special offer I guess) for $9.99 per the app (originally $14.99). Both times I was charged the full price and denied a refund of the difference. After that I took my credit card off my phone and was charged yet again for a purchase. Claim again denied. Changed my password and am hopeful these charges will stop. Not sure what is going on but I’m done.

Homescapes. On more than one occasion I have completed the expedition and did not get the final reward. It just happened again 12-24-2023. Support is horrible!! Nothing was done even though they were notified a week before the end of the expeditions. Stupidly, I have spent real money to get to the end.

Avoid...they change there algorithms to make you spend more money..interesting that I was stuck on a level...googled it, spoke to others, they has something different...albeit on the same level...

I played Homescapes and Gardenscapes for about a year and paid some money to enjoy them. I think these games are cleverly designed so that the game is over just before the user can complete it. If you watch other players' videos on YouTube, you will see that you now have fewer moves and more difficulty.
I progressed nearly 7000 with Gardenscapes and sometimes I couldn't complete one level for days using with all the boosters I had purchased. Super hard, hard, and challenge games were frequent which became more like a training exercise than a fun experience.
After 4 days of not being able to proceed, I complained and the bot only gave me general advice that anyone could read and did not answer any of my questions. (Disappointed, I applied to Apple.com for a full refund of my recent payments)
The side events are also fun and graphically pleasing, but they, too, take time to complete. It was heartbreaking to have to take on a relentlessly difficult game to earn the energy to play in those events.
That said, there are users with levels around 10000, so if you are looking for a serious challenge or don't mind spending money, those games are for you. Otherwise, your precious money and time would be better spent on other more beneficial things.

Township is a game I’ve played for six years now. My green money is now going missing, I’ve contacted playrix and they say to reload the game. My money is still depleting and I’m not spending it. Other people on Facebook township family are now experiencing it. Not happy.

Homescapes is a great game of theirs, a perfect one for killing time. Haven't ever spent any money on it and haven't encountered any bugs or issues in the process. Sure, some levels are so difficult they take you days and it's annoying but still quite a great game with an interesting plot and additional events.

Complete scam. Locks you out of the game for no reason, even after spending money. No help from customer service as they have no customer service. Not surprising thinking they’re founded by Russian hackers…

Horrible, deceitful money-making practices. They don’t tell you how much they really take from your payment method. And it’s LOT! They swindled my relatives out of $13,500 over a period of 1.5 years. We are contemplating a legal action. Stay away!

This game started out being a fun experience up until I made in game purchases. I purchased the piggybank one time of 4.99 and 14.99 however, after checking my emails from Apple and bank records I was charged way more than these two payments. The full piggy bank a total of x3 times was charged but I only received one item. Today checking my emails discovered another charge of 4.99 for the piggy bank which is odd as I ceased making any purchases from the time of being over charged. I have made a complaint to Apple and have requested a refund but knowing Apple and those who run these games it will fall on deaf ears and I will be left out of pocket!! Sadly loved playing this game but township game is now deleted, I will avoid this game and any others like it for the simple reason their Greed tactics takes the fun out of playing their games.

Fishdom used to be a fun game for all but they just didn’t want to keep customers happy, they just want your money. Don’t download it, it’s terribly addictive and all they will do is try and squeeze money from you. I gave this game 5 stars 3 years ago but now the game cheats and the customer service is appalling. Save yourself from the torture.
