the company is failing the environment for their profits
I have a Pet safe simple automatic feeder bought on Amazon.co.uk in Sept 2017 for £97, now costs £113. The unit has a warranty of two years. It worked fine until I had problems with electricity in January 2020, and I concluded that a small electrical plate/board became faulty so has to be changed. The company informed me today they do not offer any parts to sell. I am rather upset, not so much that I need to buy another unit, but the very fact that a perfectly good plastic unit needs to be thrown away. This is, in 2020, not acceptable environmentally! I need to buy the whole unit, so I have a very small electric plate in working order. Truly bad. I would be willing to pay the cost of the new unit just for an electrical board... The plastic is black so hardly recyclable.
I also note that they do not read their customers reviews on Trust pilot....they have no chance of improving their products.
Horrible place
Horrible place , they have no respect for animals. I paid for a product that I needed urgently for my kittens, I even paid priority delivery, to have them lie to me about my delivery , despite number of email exchange , they took my money and never delivered the product!! they are blaming royal mail although they also haven't received the product and the tracking number is not recognised, I am now having to travel without the product "digital pet feeder" over 100 pounds. awful customer service, and misleading.

Wonderful customer service. They really listen and will go out of their way to make it right. And they won't quit trying to fix it until you are happy. Have complete confidence in this brand. It's rare to find a company that admits when it's wrong and tries to fix it. Well done Petsafe! Love Maggie in the CS dept as well.

Avoid for your sake and your pet!!!. Products don't last more than 2 years. Seems that after 2 years the problem starts. My first one (still on warranties) would suddenly stop connection to the collar microchip -(all with new batteries)- I only notices that as my kitties was trying to get to house and after that she lost 2 claws!! - Could not fixed with their support - they send new one.
2 years down the line , replacement stopped working, It started consuming batteries on daily basis. I've sent several mails about it, but I feel I'm getting nowhere, because every time they respond, they give me the same answer in different words. I decided to start looking if there is a cat flap that is plugged in somewhere instead of batteries. Will see if customer rights gov can assist me.
At the moment i have to use manual and i keep having visitors which put my kitty in stress.

Impressive customers support for my problem.
I'm a French customer from Québec, Canada. I have broken a ceramic part of my dogs water fountain after about 6 to 8 months of use. I called customers support to buy a replacement. The agent called a translator to ease the call. Both were amazingly kind and efficient. Because the part weren't available for buying, the agent have offered me a whole new fountain for free, paid shipping included. Totally impressed was my feeling. Thanks for the service!
Great products, great company.
I am a long-time Petsafe customer. Their air collar products are superb and their customer service is second to none. They have given me advice and support which is superb. Think "beyond John Lewis" for the type of customer support and you will have some idea of how great they are. Durable reliable products backed up by great people, and " no" I do not work there!
Sorry can't go with products that hurt or harm
Not alot of "safe" or "humane" in some of their products. Hurting or scaring a dog with some of the harsh product methods and training tools doesn't work for me. Sorry, can no longer support this thought process.

PetSafe sells a range of products that harm dogs in different ways, from shock collars with shuddy technology that show a lack of basic understanding of classical conditioning and potential fallouts from not only electric shock, but worse - poor timing due to latency, to a harness (Easy Walk) that restricts dogs' shoulder movements and chafe under the front legs.
Challenge me to find just one PetSafe product that shows any sort of real understanding of how dogs work mentally and anatomically and concern for dog's welfare, and I'd be very surprised

I recently wrote a review on a product I purchased from them. The review was accurate but negative. They posted my review for a few days and then removed it. I received no reply when I questioned them about the review. Also, they do not have a good return policy. If the product is defective or unsatisfactory, the purchaser must still return at their own expense (which can cost the average consumer without a bulk shipping agreement, more money than what as paid for an item). Therefore, potential customers need to source accurate product reviews from other sources and be certain that they will like the item they are purchasing. For me, that means looking at other online retailers as buying through them implies a certain amount of risk.
Excellent, beneficial to my kitten health
I bought the Drinkwell original pet fountain for my cat. The reason why I choose this one is that its replaceable charcoal filters can clean the contaminants, fuzz, debris and food. Especially, summer is coming. Maybe it can guarantee a high-quality water quality for my cute cat to drink.Though its price is comparatively high, it's worthy if it can keep my kitten from being ill. It would take me much more time and money if my kitty is out of kilter.

The customer after care has been excellent, even though I bought my collar through Amazon. Shortly after I bought it I lost the battery cover for the control unit - replaced at no cost. A year later the collar fell off outside and creatures chewed through the fabric overnight. Replaced at no cost. A couple of weeks ago it stopped working altogether (two and a half years old). First they sent me a set of batteries as the ones I'd bought are apparently not responding well. When that didn't work, they have sent me a new collar. I am so impressed.
Above and beyond customer service
I have two of their pet doors, and recently a part in one of them broke. I emailed to see if I could order another part and they said they would send it free of charge, I'm amazed. Bear in mind by the time I asked the door was out of warranty, more than 3 years old. Amazing customer service!
Very effective products
Very effective products. I hesitated to buy our initial collar, with its not insubstantial price tag, but the company themselves, their products and their customer service were recommended by a friend. The spray collar worked brilliantly for our dog, who had previously insisted on rolling in fox poo as often as possible. We only ever used the first step (a beep) which was enough to interrupt all thoughts of rolling and bring him back to us. Fairly quickly, just wearing the collar was sufficient and we could relax our vigilance. The customer service we received from this company was second to none, a lot of larger companies could learn a lot from them. Many thanks Petsafe!
It controls odors and very little mess

They said they do not offer repairs, making this product useless and waste of money
Scoopfree self cleaning litter box. I have bought 3 of them over a 2 year period, how ever the newest two (newer models) developed an intermitint fault , 4 years down the line. The rake stopped working ( so not doing the automatic scooping, not functioning as it is i tended to ), The over-ride button does not work, i can hear a click but the rake does not move, un-plugging and re-plugging it also does not work. It seems like a simple relay-switch electronic part that tells the rake to move is faulty as the fault is moody and works when it wants concluding the motor and mechanical mechanicm to move the rake is working.
I called Petsafe expressing my frustration, and that i a, willing to pay for the repair. They declared they DO NOT offer repairs.
Offered me 20% off their high priced new litter tray ( which is still more expensive than buying their product from another agent online)
They are violating The Consumer Rights act that states that they should be able/offer to repair any electric product for 5-6 years or replace it if they cannot repair it.
I would advise to stay away of this Scoopfree Litter tray and look for an alternative product or just use a cheap normal litter tray which you can use for life.

I have nothing but good things to say about this company. My calls are always answered by a real live, knowledgeable, person. A very pleasant change from automation. I bought the original PetSafe kit from Lowes and had it installed. It worked great for a while, then stopped. Lowes was of no help and suggested that I call the company direct. I was given detailed instructions as to how to fix what might be wrong. Some, I could follow, some I had difficulty with because I am handicapped. I called my grandson in to help. He too, has had great service. When we couldn't find an answer to a problem, all new parts were received. Everything has been working well now for almost another year and I now have a dog that knows her boundary s and is safe. I highly recommend this company!

I bought an inground system a year ago and it is amazing. Keeps my 2 huskies in and safe, but due to a nearby lightning strike I had problems with the transmitter.
I phoned customer service and spoke to Anne and a new one was dispatched the same day. 3 yr warranty, Outstanding Guys!!
Update - Now 3 huskies and 3 collars. 1 lost a prong, phoned Petsafe and a new accessory pack arrived a week later (they're in Eire, I'm in France). Only wish other companies service was as good!
Petporte catflap saved my sanity.
I bought a Petporte catflap from this company several years ago. I had been suffering from a ginger Tom, breaking his way through any other catflap I installed, stealing my cat's food, traumatizing them in their own home, spraying everywhere. My cats also started fouling in the house. Basically, I'd come home from work each day to piles of fur, puddles of pee and the stench of a spraying Tom.
Bought a Petporte catflap... problem stopped immediately. The Tom has never been able to smash his way in since. I have recently replaced the old one with a newer, less grubby example and have bought another for a different door. The design has been updated and is now slightly easier to fit / service than before.
Quality products that stand behind their name and values.
I have worked with a number of Petsafe brand products that have all lived up to the expectations of the company. As a certified dog trainer, I also highly recommend their brand, as well. A favorite of mine is the EasyWalk harness, a clever tool that curbs pulling, and is extremely easy for a dog to adapt to. I have not had any correspondence with the company but I plan to continue using their products and expect their services to be top-notch, as well.
