I have a doggie door with a broken part

I have a doggie door with a broken part. When I called PetSafe a live customer service person answered the phone, was very knowledgeable readily agreed to help with my issue. The next day I received a notice that my replacement was on its way to me.

What an unexpected surprise and enjoyable experience. Thank you!!

Helpful customer service

The microchip cat flap stopped working and I contacted customer services who were helpful with things to try to fix it. These didn’t work and they sent me a new one without me asking. Second one has worked fine. Very good customer service.

Battery springs failed / Repair Refused / Overpriced

Petsafe SSScat spray with sensor on it. Had this product a few years but barely used it however when i came back to using it the springs had all come off in the battery compartment which means the batteries no longer fit.

I asked the company if it could be repaired but they said they wouldnt and would give me 20% off. I paid only £29 for it new and its now £91. They offered my just 20% off if i bought a new one making it a mere £73.

It would probably cost a few pennies for them to fix it plus postage and based on the massive margins I would have expected better customer service even for a product out of warranty as it shows the quality of the product is not that great for a product costing >£90.

My electric cat box motor died on me

My electric cat box motor died on me. All lights ect worked. I scooped myself for 2 weeks. This suxked so I called Petsafe and talked to Jordan and she looked me up and found I was out of warranty not long ago. Explaining changed trays monthly ect. Had a auto feeder and water also. I was wanting since out of warranty maybe a discount but she surprised me and said we are going to take care of a loyal customer and sent me a new one!! I have been in retail management for 25 plus years before moving onto medical. She was so nice ans cordial and helpful I give you all 5 stars and the cat ( a rescue found in a water drain pipe ) is happy again. Lol.... Kudos to Jordan and Petsafe!!!

ANOTHER FAULTY PET SAFE BARK COLLAR - DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.

Pet Safe Bark Collar - Purchased in September 2022 - £65 - Failed January 2022 - Contacted Pet Safe (based in Eire) - They promised to replace - Several e mails & several phone calls later the new bark collar arrived at an address in UK because they could not mail it to us in the Isle of Man 🇮🇲 in early May !!! - And now this bark collar has failed - DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.

A probe fell off somewhere

A probe fell off somewhere. The offshore people can't send a replacement, instead they baffle you with b.s..in fact they hide their phone number so you only get the store that sells their products. The petsafe training collar..even with the 2yr warranty isn't any good.

Petsafe ScoopFree Gen 2 Litter Box

This review is regarding the company and their ScoopFree second generation litter box.
I left my original review on the manufacturers website but they like to scew their review stats in their favor and felt the need to remove my review after a week or two of it being approved and published on the site.
Finally, about the litter box.
At first the litter box was fine. It did not do as well with odor as they claimed and the rake becomes a filthy mess as most cat poop sticks to it, but it was still better than having to scoop a litter box daily.
The real downfalls are the cost of the litter which I swear tripled in price since I purchased the box and also became very hard to find at stores and even online. The crystal litter that is required is very pricey and tracks out of the box horribly and feels like broken glass when you step on it barefoot.
Even with these downfalls I was ok with it until the waste trap covers tabs broke and my cats could no longer enter the litter box since I had the hood on it. I removed the hood so my cats could enter from the sides but this just made the tracking mess even worse, I may have well just just poured the litter on the ground myself.
The first tab on the trap cover broke within one week of owning the box but did not affect its function. After a year the second tab broke rendering the trap cover useless. I reached out to the company by phone to purchase a replacement cover that they sell for the first generation model for $15 but was informed that they don't sell the part for the second generation and since I had the box for more than a year they could not replace under warranty since it had just expired.
They did offer to sell me a new $170 box and give me 20% off as a courtesy. I found that to be an insult and an unacceptable response.
For these reasons I cannot recommend this product or this company.
I have since purchased a very expensive Litter Robot that I wish I had bought originally since the cost of crystal litter made the scoopfree more expensive in the long run. Litter robot just used cheap clumping litter.

Absolutely dreadful

Absolutely dreadful. I have been trying to contact customer service for 12 days now. Sent three emails and called 9 times! No one has replied to my emails and when I tried to call, I just got an answerphone message saying the office was closed - during the daytime! At the moment, I am stuck with a cat door sitting in a box. I will NEVER use the company again. Utterly useless. AVOID. Zero stars.

GREAT product, easily learnable for dogs.

GREAT product. The other doggy doors we tried let our cats out too which is dangerous due to coyotes. The dogs easily learned the door, no problem at all and our new kitten shows no interest in the heavy door. This door allows our two dogs to unlock anytime they need to go out and come in. We built a little shed around it outside and didn't think about the wind tunnel it would create so the flap got ripped off. Wonderful customer service! I just can't say enough about how my call was handled.

8 days later and still nothing

Ordered an item and still not had shipping update.. £7.99 shopping and takes 7 days?

Ordered item 14th Feb (8 days ago) paid delivery and status is still ‘label created’ and no estimated date

I should have gone through Amazon it would have been here next day.. I can see where there are bad reviews for pet safe

Ordered the petsafe car seat

Ordered the petsafe car seat, which I started to use when I got my puppy on 4th January, by the 29th it was falling apart. I rang petsafe who offered to replace it without hesitation. Delivery on 10 to 14 days, which is bad news. Trouble is 10 days later when I rang it hadn't even been dispatched and no one advised me it wasn't even on its way!! I was assured I would recieve a dispatch confirmation within 24 hours, 3 days later and still nothing!! I wasn't expecting miracles for the price, but less than a month for 1.8kg puppy is pretty poor. And the aftersales service, whilst apologetic and polite is useless.
I dont think I'd recommend petsafe to anyone after my experience.

Its now 2 months since I bought this utter rubbish car seat from Petsafe and still no replacement! No confirmation of dispatch. No nothing!!!

This company has the best service!

This company has the best customer service I have ever experienced! They would not rest until I was totally satisfied and not only extended my warranty past a year, but sent me an upgraded replacement to my automatic litterbox! I highly recommend this company and its products!

The petsafe collar is a great item but…

The petsafe collar is a great item but when you pay over £50 for an item you expect to get some kind of value for your money but the replacement cartridges are really expensive and don't last five minutes they are supposed to give approximately 40 sprays per cartridge but let me tell you they only spray 20 ish times before the Amber light for replacement starts flashing no way is there 40 sprays each cartridge just no way!!!

What an absolutely fantastic company to deal with.
Knowledgeable, helpful, thorough and no waiting around to be connected or waiting in hold for hours!
I would thoroughly recommend their products and their customer service is above and beyond the usual!

Excellent customer service and pet product

Andy in customer service was professional. It's so good to see a company that stands behind their products and gives great customer service. Petsafe you are a gem! Product is well made and meets our pet needs! My wall is 4 1/2" wide so purchased large wall entry pet door.

Expensive customer service advice!

Expensive customer service advice!
I contacted them to ask which microchip cat flap I could use to replace my infrared one and paid £61 something.
It fits in the same space but the screw holes overlap those of the infrared one - so it can’t be installed!
Contacted them again. They suggested that I could buy an adaptor - which won’t fit as the current cat flap is at the lowest point in the door panel. Or I could buy new pink infrared collar tags at £23 each! Previous experience (even when they were £7 each) is that is likely to be very expensive as cats lose their collars on a regular basis.
So I am now paying £150 to buy a new door panel into which I can fit the £61 something cat flap.
Maybe PetSafe could use some of the huge profit on their sales of pink tags to offer some basic education on cat flaps to their customer service team members!
Unsurprisingly, I won’t buy from them again.
