DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

Do I really have to give them 1 star? They certainly don't deserve that. We ordered the same coat three times in total. After the first order, I didn't get an e-mail confirmation, but they took the money from my credit card, only to refund it 5 days later after they cancelled the order without any explanation. I immediately re-ordered the coat. This time they did confirm the order. They sent a few text messages to thank me for my patience, and that it would shortly be despatched, even on the same day the order was cancelled, and the money refunded. Still in stock, I re-ordered again, and it was the same scenario as the second order, with order being cancelled today, on the same day I was being thanked for being patient for the order. I did express my disgust at how I'd been treated, and a lack of explanation, but I don't expect a reply from them. AVOID THIS COMPANY at all costs.

Superb shoes, slow delivery

Delighted with shoes, very good quality and as expected after reading numerous reviews. However, yet to test them outdoors. Got them for a great discounted price too. Looking forward to getting out on the hills and using them. Only negative was the rather lengthy time they took to arrive, perhaps longer than expected, however the build quality and price more than made up for this. Very happy.

Absolutely disgusting

Absolutely disgusting! DO NOT order from this company. Peter Storm said that the coat I had ordered was in stock. They took my payment then a few days later I started to get texts saying ‘thank you for your patience, we will let you know once your order has been dispatched, after several days and several texts they emailed to say that they had cancelled my order!!! I am now waiting for a refund! I have checked online and you can still order the coat in the size that I ordered do they will be taking other people’s money. I wish I had read the reviews below as I most certainly wouldn’t have ordered from them and certainly won’t in the future.

Shambolic experience with Peter Storm

Shambolic experience with Peter Storm! They don’t deliver your goods! They take your money, then issues text messages from Millets and then 1 week after taking your payment they cancel your order! Just received an email stating that my order is cancelled, no explanation or apology! Look on their website and there’s no way of contacting them, the pages come up with 404 errors. Extremely disappointed Customer!

Terrible

Terrible. Placed order 3 weeks ago. Was sent an email that 1 item out of stock and refunded. Order arrived today. Only 1 item was sent missing 6 items, was only refunded after sending another email. What a joke. Never use again. If only u could give 0 stars. /

They just don't want you to buy from them

Very poor service !!! Ordered some kids waterproof suits a couple of days ago aa a new client. Today I received an email with my order cancellation( ?!? ) No details to why this has happened as obviously I haven't requested it , just reassuring me that I will be refunded. Tried to place another order this time using my new customer discount code- guess what? The 15% promo code expired in 31 dec 2016 !!! Yes, 2016!!!!
Worst experience I had in years, I was considering buying these through John lewis but clearly this company does not want new customers or customers at all! I'll give my money to someone that does deliver and treat customers with respect!!
Not how businesses should be run in 2021!!

Stay well away

Don’t order from these under any circumstance.

They take your money, take weeks to send your items if at all.

Customer service is terrible (email only).

You never get any answers.

You have been warned.

Poor service

Placed an order over 10 days ago and at the time, was advised despatch times were 1/2 days. Therefore, plenty of time to arrive before Christmas (ordered as a present). I received two texts messages saying there had been a delay and that the parcel would be despatched soon. I have contacted customer care and not yet had a response. Today, I have received an email saying my item has been despatched, likely to arrive between 29th Dec and 4th Jan. That will between 3 and 4 since placing the order. Will need to return items for a refund.

Poor service

Ordered a gilet for a gift on the 12th December. Had a text on 14th to apologise for the delay. Same text again 16th. Email today saying refund. No reason why. Gilet still on the website in the size I require. Will have to find a replacement and pay for quicker delivery now.

Speedy Delivery!

I placed an order then came on here to read the reviews and was terrified. Fortunately, the day after making my order I received a dispatch email and received my parcel 2 days after this. Really impressed with the speedy delivery but I do seem to have been lucky!

This website is a branch of Millers and definitely genuine.

Good in store: Ecom a joke

As other reviews here: Ordered on 28 November, and got an email confirmation telling me a dispatch note would be sent when items leave the warehouse. It's the 10th December, and still nothing. Tried a couple of days ago to email customer care: no response. Tried this morning to get in touch via web form: nothing.

Have used Peter Storm and Millets stores before, but they clearly cannot do ecommerce. Absolute joke.

worst experience ever. never buying from here again

on the 27th November I ordered from this website, I received a confirmation email saying that they will send a tracking link when it is despatched which i haven't received the money has gone out, I've tried multiples times emailing and ringing but I haven't heard anything back. Eventually heard back a few days ago saying they were trying to
get the parcel out as soon as possible as they were busy and low on stock , few days later they came back to me and said that they couldn’t get the product out as they were really busy and didn’t have the stock, they gave me a refund

Poor Customer Service

4 days after placing an order it was cancelled without explanation.
I called their Customer Services - it seems the jacket I ordered was 'out of stock'. I pointed out that it was still available to buy online. Their response 'the website does not show up to date stock information'.
I'd only ask that Peter Storm make it clear on their website that stock levels may not be accurate, and most importantly to provide an explanation when cancelling an order.

Ordered item, says despatched 2nd October and its now the 31st October.
Tried the tracking link and does not work!!!! No telephone number listed to contact customer services! After reading the below comments I am now a little worried!

Website amateurish, thought I'd been scammed

I placed an order, didn't think to screenshot the order number as I assumed the order confirmation would follow shortly. 20 mins later, no email. Then, when I looked on my account, no orders hd been placed. Despite this, the money was taken from my account.
When I went to try to speak to customer services, every link was broken, just took me back to main menu and made me think this isn't even a genuine site???
It got worse before it got better. I emailed them and got a reply pretty quickly. Having said they'd found my order, they sent me the order ref, but when I looked in it, it was empty, no order details, no delivery details, nothing. Completely blank! They said they'd send confirmation of the order "shortly" but again nothing came through (and yes, Peter storm, I checked my junk tyvm! I wouldn't have known to do that if you hadn't told me! Yes, I'm being sarcastic!).
No more info, no more correspondence, no order confirmation, I'd convinced myself I'd been scammed.
Then, several days later I get an email from DHL telling me my parcel would be delivered this morning in 2 hours time. And it was, and the item was exactly what I ordered.
As part of the millets group, you'd have expected a smooth, professional service with a fully working website. Instead I encountered one problem after another and the whole thing felt like a fake site.
I got my items but won't be buying again until they sort out their website. I have edited this as I originally gave them 1 star

PETER STORM TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THEN FAIL TO TELL YOU THE ITEMS ARE OUT OF STOCK UNTIL YOU KEEP PESTERING THEM BY EMAIL AND ADVISING THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY WILL BECOME INVOLVED

ITEMS NOT RECEIVED

I have ordered two items from PS, had emails to confirm the order and when it was dispatched, on the tracking system it goes all the way until it was taken over DHL. I received the item on the 14th of September, but when I looked in the parcel, only one of the items was present. I waited a few days to see if they done a mistake and will resend the parcel, nothing. I went back to my email and tried to contact them, but nothing was working. Went on their website, but there is not contact page, no number, no email, NOTHING! I am contacting DHL to see if the problem is on their end, but I find it really strange that they do not have any way of contacting them!

Terrible

I ordered a coat online from the PS website and got an order confirmation, Peter storm also took the money from my account. The order confirmation said that they dispatch very quickly so no time to amend orders. Two days later I hadn’t heard anything so I tracked my order on their website and it was blank. I weirdly got an email from Millets saying thank you for signing up but no evidence of ordering from them. Three days later, at 9.25pm on a Friday night I’ve got a email to say I’ve been refunded and my item isn’t in stock. Bloody useless company; you should be ashamed of your incompetence.

Peter Storm acts illegally, takes money but DOESN'T SEND GOODS PAID FOR, do NOT use them!

Peter Storm joins a steadily-increasing list of companies acting ILLEGALLY ie taking money but NOT supplying goods PAID FOR.
I ordered several items on 24 July and PAID for them. PS TOOK MY MONEY on 27 July; NO despatch note, and their Chat assistant has NO TRACE of the order.
Therefore PS have illegally taken money but NOT supplied goods, contravening the Consumer Rights Act 2015, andd I have submitted a complaint accordingly to Trading Standards/Consumer Advice, and raised a dispute with my bank.
This is becoming far too familiar with online orders; PS joins the queue - which includes Under Armour, Cotswold Outdoors, Go Outdoors and Mountain Warehouse.
DO NOT USE PETER STORM, nor the others.
ONLY use the independents, who know the meaning of customer service and know their products.
I will follow my own advice; use independents NOT chains, as you CAN'T TRUST chaims!
