An excellent purchase. The camera was described as almost mint and it certainly was near perfect and all the extras were in great shape. I have been considering one of these expensive cameras for a while and they all seem to be in Japan at 50% more cost... plus tax!!! So I am well pleased it could be obtained much cheaper with a secure feeling from a well established UK business seller. Thanks.

I've been a customer of Peter's for a decade. Grading is impeccable - the best there is in my experience. Dispatch is rapid (on Tuesdays and Fridays) and always very well packaged. I contacted Peter by email to purchase a postwar zeiss 35mm f2.8 biogon lens and viewfinder. The lens was advertised for a very good price on the website.
Although Peter was abroad he answered very promptly and sent the lens immediately on his return.
The lens was almost spotless, much better than expected. The description was light use, but in fact it looked like it could have come straight from the factory. Needless to say I'm delighted and can highly recommend Peter.

When you’ve done all that you find you have stumbled across one of the Internet’s best kept secrets and found someone who knows the camera business from decades of practical experience, knows what photographers want and also knows how to provide exemplary customer service.

I recently bought a camera from Peter. My emailed questions were answered promptly and fully.

He went out of his way to help and inform. Off his own bat, he tested the camera’s lens and emailing me the result. When I had a query about the take up spool he checked and then swapped it for a better compatible one.

When the camera arrived it was securely packed and delivered promptly.

I quickly found that the item’s description was not only highly accurate but is exceeded when you have the item in your hand.

The price was very reasonable and compared favourably with a similar model of the same camera that I intended to see before settling on the one Peter had for sale. That was in worse cosmetic state, more expensive and sold before I could view it.

And was this a rare camera costing thousands of pounds?

No.

It was mass-produced and cost just £75.

But I am sure the service would have been the same if it had cost many times more.

Once again I would highly recommend a look at Peter's stock list before looking anywhere else! I have just bought a fantastic Rolleiflex 3.5F, in excellent condition and serviced in 2022 that has, as usual with this seller, exceeded my expectations on all counts.
Peter Loy is a very dependable dealer and one can rest easily that your purchase will normally be under-described (in my experience.) if anything. I doubt very much that you would be disappointed!

I have recently bought A Rolleiflex SL66 40mm Distagon from Peter, and as with previous purchases I've made, the lens was much nicer than expected. Buying from Peter is a much better option than E-Bay, his prices are much better, delivery is very quick, but the best part is that you really can buy with complete confidence. A very experienced and helpful dealer. Well worth a look!
