They are taking 30$ annual fee

They are taking 30$ annual fee. First they addict thousand of people to their service because they were free everyone was choosing them. After they achieved lots of subscribers they forced subscribers to pay 30$ annual tribute. They are bad sly jackals.

Dishonest Customer Support - Unjust account suspension and funds locked since February (ID: 102153250)

I am experiencing an appallingly slow and unjust treatment from Payoneer. My account was suspended back in February due to a glitch in their own two-factor authentication (2FA) system, which failed to send the required SMS codes. Since then, I have been trapped in an endless loop with their customer support, which only replies once a week (strictly during weekends).
With every single reply, a completely new agent takes over the case (the latest one being Evelyn, Reference: 260521-006700) solely to demand a new document, completely ignoring the ones previously submitted, before vanishing again for another week. I have provided EVERY SINGLE requested document: passport with the required photo/date, official bank statements, and compliant proofs of residence.
This is my very first payment on this platform (a wire transfer from Google), and my funds are being held hostage in an abusive manner. This strategy of wearing customers down is completely unacceptable. I demand that a Compliance Manager or a Supervisor immediately review my file (Customer ID: 102153250) to reactivate my account.

Worst financial company ever

From far, from very far the worst financial company I have ever dealt with
In a nutshell, there is no way to have your legitimate profile verified and get your payments from your legitimate business partners.
Submissions remain under review forever, with no notifications, no updates, nothing. When a passport verification fails, they don't either bother to notify you, not to mention to explain what was wrong with your documents.
Just one piece of advice: stay away from this company, do not entrust them a penny, unless you are keen to get frustration and anger anytime you try to deal with them.

Poor Communication and Delayed Verification Process

My experience with Payoneer account verification has been extremely frustrating.

I submitted all requested documents, responded promptly to every request, and opened multiple support tickets. Over the course of several weeks, I received conflicting information from different representatives and numerous generic responses that did not address my specific situation.

At one point, I was informed that my documents had been approved and that my account was pending final issuance, yet I continued waiting without any meaningful update. Despite repeated follow-ups, I often received automated responses instead of clear answers regarding my case.

While some individual support agents were helpful and professional, the overall verification process was slow, inconsistent, and lacked transparency.

I hope Payoneer improves its communication and provides faster, more personalized support for customers going through account verification.

Payoneer robbed me of my money.

Hi All Payoneer Users,

I will list all facts that Payoneer didn't refund the money.
I used this payment system and my Japanese Initiator paid to me using the JPY receiving account of Payoneer.
On 7th May, My Japanese Initiator paid 343,750 JPY and my account was blocked at that time.
So this transaction(Trasaction number is 984311054) was canceled.
I asked to refund money to my Japanese Initiator instantly and the Payoneer Customer Service said that it will be refunded within 7~10 business days.
I have waited and there was no result.
So I contacted to Support team with email to refund and they asked the bank detail information to refund money on 22nd .
I have submitted all information and they said it will be refunded it within 1 business day.
I have also waited several days but the money refunded still now.
I asked the result about this issue to Customer Center and they didn't reply.
Payoneer robbed me of my money.

Terrible Verification Process and Misleading Timeframes

I recently opened a new Payoneer account and my experience with the verification process has been extremely frustrating.

First, I submitted my UK driving licence as proof of identity. According to Payoneer's own requirements, a valid driving licence is an accepted document. My licence is issued in the UK, is fully valid, and does not expire for many years. However, it was rejected, and I suspect this may have been due to an issue with their automated verification system rather than the document itself.

After that, I submitted my passport, which was accepted without any problems. Then I was asked to provide a bank statement, which I also submitted successfully.

At that point, my account entered the verification stage. Payoneer clearly states that account reviews usually take up to 2 business days. However, it has now been over a week and my account is still not approved.

I contacted Payoneer live chat support multiple times. The first representative, Marc, told me that my documents would be manually reviewed within an hour and that my account would be activated because I am a new customer completing the verification process. More than 17 hours passed and nothing happened.

I contacted support again and was told that all my documents had already been reviewed internally and were approved, but I would need to wait another 24 hours. After waiting, nothing changed.

I contacted support once more and received the same response: "wait another 24 hours." Unfortunately, these promises have repeatedly not been fulfilled.

What concerns me even more is that I found many similar reviews from other customers who submitted valid documents and were told the verification would take only a couple of days, yet some reported waiting for over a month.

I understand that compliance and security checks are important, but if additional time is required, Payoneer should communicate honestly and transparently. Repeatedly giving customers inaccurate timeframes only creates frustration and damages trust.

So far, my experience has been disappointing. The verification process appears disorganized, the estimated review times are misleading, and customer support has provided information that has not matched reality.

Payoneer = scams and frauds

Payoneer knows that scams and frauds are taking place on their platform. They know about this but they don't do anything about it. Don't use this service. They pretend to be a serious company but they are NOT. The good reviews on Trustpilot are most likely written by themselves. Don't use this service - there are much better options out there !!!!

Absolute nightmare – destroying small businesses with incompetent service

I have been using Payoneer for some time, but this experience has been an absolute disaster. For a small, growing business, the ability to access funds in a timely manner is the lifeline of the entire operation. Payoneer holding onto my funds—which are clearly visible in the account—is an absolute no-go.

Because of this payment delay, I am currently unable to pay my suppliers. If a business cannot meet its financial obligations because its payment provider decides to sit on the money, the business might as well shut down immediately. This is not just a "delay," it is a direct threat to my livelihood.

What is even more infuriating is the lack of integrity from your support team. I was explicitly promised that the funds would be credited within 12–24 hours. That deadline has passed, and I am still being left in the dark. Being lied to by support staff while my business reputation is at stake is completely unacceptable.

You are more than happy to collect your transaction fees, but when it comes to providing the actual service you are paid for, you are nowhere to be found. Instead of helping, you are actively causing financial damage.

I demand an explanation: How does Payoneer intend to compensate me for the financial harm and the potential loss of my business contracts caused by your incompetence and false promises?

If you value your business, look elsewhere. Payoneer is a massive liability.

Account blocked

They have blocked my account for a verification process and said the documentation is invalid… The same documentation they have aceptes over the last 4 testé I have been with this account.
Now they said this is still pending on my end while I have sent everything.
They are doing business with the clients money and have us waiting for our funds.

Absolutely horrible

Absolutely horrible, daylight robbery.

I'm getting charged 15 eur for every payment receipt, and if that's not outrageous already, there's withdrawal fee of 150 eur.

Business Account Balances Disabled for Over a Month Without Explanation

Our business account balances were disabled around May 1, 2026. ( Customer ID 49927383)
After contacting support, we were initially told the issue would be resolved within 48 hours. Later, we were informed that the account was under review because Payoneer was reviewing our company website link, even though that website link had already been submitted back in February. We were also informed that we would receive an update by May 9. During this period, no additional documents were requested.
After more than two weeks of waiting and multiple follow-ups, Payoneer finally requested supporting documents. We submitted all requested information immediately and fully cooperated throughout the entire review process.
More than a month has now passed. Payoneer representatives repeatedly confirm that no additional documents are required from our side, yet nobody can explain:
* why the balances remain disabled,
* what exactly is still under review (despite all requested documents having already been submitted and approved),
* or when the review is expected to be completed.
This is a business account, and the ongoing restrictions are directly affecting our operations, payments, and cash flow.
Unfortunately, after multiple phone calls, emails, live chats, document submissions, and repeated follow-ups, we have been unable to obtain either a resolution or a clear explanation. We are therefore making this matter public, as all standard communication channels have failed to provide meaningful answers or a reasonable timeline for resolution.

I can't warn people more about this…

I can't warn people more about this platform. It is an absolute rort. Almost scammy.
I used to only be able to get my US royalties deposited into a US bank account so I needed it. And 10 years ago, Payoneer was okay. The fees used to be low. THey have slowly increased them to levels which are profiteering and do not even slightly represent the cost to them of providing the service.
Also, as I have moved to another, less scammy, service, I have $33USD trapped in an account which I can't get out, as the minimum withdraw balance is $50USD. I tried to deposit $17USD in there to get it, but payoneer figured out what I was trying to do and rejected the deposit. SO basically I just have to leave this account open to be eroded by fees until it's nothing. I get to watch this bank take MY money for their shareholders who will definitely get less value out of it than I would. I could buy groceries with that money.
Absolute rort. Do NOT use this service. There are several others that are not as scammy or expensive. Please. I desperately want to close my account which they tell you will forfeit the funds in the account. Like they're not even trying to hide the theft at this point.

My Payoneer account (Customer ID: 87751081) was closed in October 2025. I understand Payoneer has compliance requirements and I respect that. I am not disputing the decision — I am simply requesting a formal review and the opportunity to submit full identity verification documents. One year has passed since the closure and I am fully cooperative. I hope someone from the team can reach out.

One of the worst customer support…

One of the worst customer support experiences ever. Wise stopped opening accounts in Bangladesh but still provides top-notch customer service in my experience. On the other hand, Payoneer after thousands of transactions still can’t respond to my customer support requests. Their customer service is awful.

I’ve tried the live chat, but it keeps getting canceled every time. Really frustrating.

3 weeks for a "3 business day" verification — support is a loop of empty promises

I submitted my documents for verification on May 14. Payoneer's own guidelines state this should take 3 business days. It has now been 3 weeks with no resolution.
I have contacted live support multiple times. Every agent is polite, every agent apologizes, and every agent tells me they will "escalate my case to the advanced team, marking it as high priority." Nothing changes. The agents themselves admitted they have no visibility into the verification process, meaning they are essentially unable to do anything beyond resetting the waiting period with a fresh promise.
I have received either deadline extensions or new resubmission requests with no explanation of what went wrong the previous time.
For anyone considering Payoneer — the product may be fine, but if anything goes wrong during verification, be prepared for a support system that is friendly, apologetic, and completely powerless to help you.
Still unresolved as of the time of this review.
