I wouldnt touch this estate agent at…

I wouldnt touch this estate agent at all.
I lost my buyer who was there customer & now lost where I was buying due to this estate agent. You call them & when they do answer the phone they just dont seem bothered if they are losing a sale.
7 months for a 3 person chain & it falls through the day before you move as they didnt do thorough checks at the start.
Their buyer never had their deposit or even a mortgage offer & PD let this go on for 7 months. They are just a joke & all staff there are incompetent.

Absolutely terrible !

Absolutely terrible experience – avoid this agency!
The properties are vastly overpriced, and the staff are consistently rude, unhelpful, and lack even basic knowledge of the properties or the relevant laws.
My most recent interaction was infuriating: the agent shouted at me, that my email address "didn't work," insisted they had typed it correctly while supposedly copy-pasting it, only for me to discover they had missed the final letter.
When I called about a house for sale, I was told the selling team was busy and to ring back in 20 minutes. I did – no answer. The next day, my second call was finally picked up, only to be told the person handling the sale was unavailable and to try again tomorrow. The following day – no answer again.
This level of incompetence and disregard for customers is unacceptable. I strongly advise looking elsewhere.

Wednesbury branch 😭😭🤮🤮🤮🤮 don’t bother

Wednesbury branch 😭😭🤮🤮🤮🤮 don’t bother. They are a complete waste of time. Unprofessional liars. They invited me for a viewing I went there viewed the house and I made an offer they disappeared. I feel sorry for people counting on them to sell their properties because they are stuck with a bunch of of unprofessional people. I am not sure how they benefit from wasting peoples time honestly. If you don’t accept their mortgage advisor to offer you her services they will not accept you offer to the property how petty and unprofessional

Please people stay away from these if…

Please people stay away from these if you don’t have there mortgage you won’t get what you bidded on. I had a offer excepted on a flat (as a investment) I agreed to speak to the mortgage advisor in Wednesbury Paul Dubberly because she couldn’t get the mortgage I got fed up of waiting I decided to go to a independent mortgage advisor. I phoned up PD and told them I was going to use my own mortgage advisor so to tell Laura BrownI no longer wanted her to sort it. In 5 working days my new mortgage bloke got me a good deal but because I didn’t use Laura from PD they sold it to someone else and didn’t even give me a courtesy call to tell me. Just because PD have incompetent staff I have lost out on a good investment and had to pay the new advisor for a mortgage I no longer need. They am disgraceful. Oh and plus they even dropped the price of the flat it’s really bad management. Both staff at Wednesbury branch and Nicola at Great Bridge branch are a total waste of your time and there wage.

NEVER USE THEM!!!

Where do I start. NEVER use Great Bridge office! Alex come out and sold us the dream. It soon come to light he overpriced our property, did no viewings himself (most viewers didn’t turn up) marketing was very poor too.

We then found out Alex was sacked for gross misconduct. Since then personnel has changed weekly, they employ anyone now with no property knowledge. Don’t try ringing before 11.30am too as they won’t answer! Nicola the so called Manager is rude and never replies to you either which is shocking.

I had to chase up viewing feedback - no urgency at all. I spoke with the Area Manager Stephen about my concerns, he didn’t want to know and made it clear the contract was in place and nothing we could do.

Move on 16 weeks, minimal viewings, very poor service. I’ve served my notice and now gone to Skitts Great Bridge who are excellent. Loads of viewings and offers so highly recommend.

Just to top it off, Paul Dubberley aren’t removing my property from their database so will be reporting them to Trading Standards for this as it’s now breach of contract.

People please stay away from this company - what a waste of 16 weeks!!

Cancelled mortgage appointment without letting me know

Had a mortgage appointment today at the Great Bridge branch. The person my appointment was with was not at work and there were no other staff available to take the appointment. They were going to call a member of staff at the Wednesbury branch to see if she could cover my appointment but she had just gone into an appointment herself so could have been another 30+ minutes and still not been available. They said someone had left a voicemail 3 times during the week to cancel my appointment, but I haven’t had any calls or voicemails so they have lied to me, and they sent me a text yesterday to confirm my appointment. What a waste of time.

Great Bridge (Tipton) - Useless

Great Bridge (Tipton) - They were extremely poor customer service for 51/2 months with Nicola very rude. Khalil came and over valued our property to get our business and then constantly wanted to reduce the price.
I was completing the viewings even though I requested them to complete on my behalf. So, what was I paying them for?
We only had 9 viewings in 6 months and when I rang the office Nicola was informed I was on the phone, when I heard her say “Oh What does he want?”
So, we served notice that we were closing the ad as soon as we approached our end of sole agency right, and then when Skye looked after our sale we did have a better service. She was always liaising with me. However, I had lost faith in Paul Dubberley by then.
I closed the account and went with Purple Bricks and sold my property in 31 days with a 5 star service from them.
So, choose Paul Dubberley at your own risk.

Kevin Thompson at the Bilston branch is…

Kevin Thompson at the Bilston branch is absolutely fantastic. He has advised me fully of my options throughout the process and made sure I understood each option. He answered all my questions and made me feel at ease with the mortgage process. He is friendly, helpful and thorough with his advice. He kept me up to date throughout the process and made remortgaging a breeze for me. I don't think I would have been able to renew my mortgage so easily without him. Would highly recommend Kevin and Paul Dubberley for mortgages. Thank you 😊

OVERPRICED

Its not what it use to be. Pd has no more standards. Massively overpricing its properties. Pd Auction style bids with fees in excess of £5000 on properties already overpriced.
Once upon a time Paul Dubereley were decent, it's a real shame!

Atrocious Customer Service.

Atrocious Customer Service.

Sadly, it seems my experience of Paul Dubberley echoes the other review on this site.
I initially contacted Paul Dubberley six weeks ago as I had seen a property advertised with them I was interested in. My wife and I went to the office and made an appointment for two weeks ago.
We arrived for the appointment only to be told that the appointment wasn't a 'real appointment' as it hadn't been confirmed and the relevant person was finishing early on that day, so, an appointment was made for to-day (11/6/22).
In the interim, my wife and I decided not to go ahead with Paul Dubberley (I think it is understandable that we have concerns after the initial experience). I have tried to call the office three times this morning and the call has just rung out, so, I have no idea whether anyone is even in the office to-day.
When we were last in the office, the property we were interested in was pictured in the window under the caption 'New Instructions', when we enquired about this, we were informed that the 'Vendor had accepted an offer' and this happened 'in the last few minutes. Although this may have happened, I think we should put this against a reality check.
Finally, I found out about Paul Dubberley the government's website; I am not sure if Paul Dubberley have a government contract, but, I would hope for a higher standard of due diligence from the government.

WOST COMPANY EVER

WOST COMPANY EVER! I have been calling them countless times to view some properties and they tell us the property is already sold (strangely some of the properties are already sold when its been just posted) or there are no viewing available. After few days when we have to call back (because they don't bother calling you back when the viewing are available) they tell us that the house has been sold!
Some of the staff is very arrogant and have no manners to speak to their customers, its like they hate when someone calls them to book a viewing, like I am sorry but you chose to work here! i even had times when they don't pick up the call on purpose because they recognise m phone number. So I have to continuously call them so they pick up my call. As well, they show the good properties to the people they prefer, which is unfair and injustice for other people. AVOID THEM !
