I currently live in an excellent property. But you have hosts that do NOT really manage their property well. If you are looking for a property that sets a gold standard.May I suggest you look into this property. I see great value in this property. But the majority of the properties I have been in with PadSplit need to be more proactive. The property I am in now? Is an example of excellent property management and service that will help PadSplit shine

Do not pick 811 La Salle, Clearwater Fl. They host name is Kumar. Avoid at all costs. I've been with Padsplit for over a year. He is an Indian man and has the place looking like the slums. On his Padsplit listing, he lists his phone number to contact so he can have you meet the "roommates". I showed up, and NO roommates. He had someone else interested in the room and also interested in meeting the roommates. Duh? I asked about the stench and he said a rodent had gotten trapped somewhere and it was "recently" brought to his attention. Right. Absolutely disgusting. Very dirty. He had violated some building code with the city and had it on the door. He was also 20 minutes late. He's just a really bad host. Im not surprised there are so many complaints. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about this property, Ill be happy to help. He is giving Padsplit such a bad name. If this had been my first property I would have questioned Padsplit's integrity. Instead, I just question Kumar's. Please feel free to contact me about this property. I'm a teacher and have responded to my guest experience. Klpaperless at gmail.com.

I have reported someone coming into my room and playing with my belongings. I have reported sexual harassment. None of it was taken serious. The home is filthy. I would not recommend to most if not all females and truthfully most people.

If i’m allowed to add photos & videos i’d rather you guys see the proof vs just thinking im making a complaint. started padsplit Feb 20th of 2026. Was a new experience and thought it was a great one as well in the first week. fast forward shortly after the toilet was leaking and my bedroom is on the opposite side of the bathroom. lo and behold it leaks into my bedroom. no pressure right ? just put in a maintenance request and the homeowner will deal with the issue. No. i got no response from the homeowner so i contact padsplit and let them know what’s going on. Padsplit says they escalated the request and are waiting on the homeowners response.. up till today they still waiting on it. cool i deal with it and continue paying even though part of my room is semi unusable at this point. fast forward a couple days the bottom half of my room (which is carpet) is DAMP. whole floor feels like someone had a constant supply of water just leaking in that area. i couldn’t walk in that area, i put towels down so it wouldn’t end up worse & tried to maintain it. what do i do ? i contact padsplit with another maintenance request. again they’re waiting on homeowners response. homeowner never responded to any requests for weeks since march, floor was still moist which means i couldn’t walk on it since it’s carpet. even better though is that mold and the earthy scent developed in the room. showed padsplit pictures of that and still nothing. just requests that i’ve been putting in as they still take my money and do nothing to rectify the situation as a whole. homeowner responded to no requests but yesterday sent a letter to vacate. besides agent yesterday padsplit has offered no help, no medium ground between tenant and homeowner and constantly took my money to satisfy the company while i’m losing entirely on money. i’m here because i want my situation dealt with or the proper compensation.

PadSplit made it easy to find a place to live and the qualifying is effortless. There are homes all over the greater Phoenix area. I am very happy with my roommates and my Host is wonderful.
On the downside you don't know exactly where the house is located until you've committed to it. Some rooms allow two people per room but only one person is listed on the app so sometimes it is difficult to know who lives there and who doesn't.
I have always felt safe here.

Because of the location and price... As long as everyone cleans up behind themselves it is perfect!!!

My 1st Padsplit was in Forest Park, GA in 2021, 6 rooms the owner was MONEY hungry! No place to sit and eat in kitchen. The rooms were TINY and had 1 outlet in each room in a bad location and it had mice and rats that got in my food that I was NEVER reimbursed for so I MOVED!
2nd was in Houston, TX 2022, very nice house big rooms multiple outlets and cheaper than house in GA, but it was a young idiot who didn’t want no one else in the house except her and the guy who was there when I moved in. I’m a senior and they transferred me to another house up the street another very nice house I stayed there for a little over a year. Moved to Las Vegas 4th 2023, house was TOP notch, large room, beautiful kitchen fridge with water and ice dispenser, somewhere to sit and eat. I paid $189 per week and it was worth it. There was an idiot there had a short robe on bent over and all her tail was showing. She was young and jealous of the fact I was retired and tried starting some mess but I was on to my senior apartment before she could. Now my 5th in Las Vegas 2026, nice house and neighborhood like other in Vegas but older home, old stove and refrigerators, smaller rooms but comfortable only one bathroom for a house of 7 because 2nd bathroom is in a private bedroom. It’s 4 people who has to use the 1 bathroom and it’s not a problem so far but if they allow the other 3 rooms to be rented it might become a problem. I’m only here very temporarily so it’s not going to affect me. The cost of my room has been discounted for 6 weeks and when it increases it’s only $160 per week. So far very good, clean and quiet roommates!! The host in TX was accommodating but I find that the hosts in Las Vegas are more accommodating maybe because it’s Vegas. I let my current host know the bed in my room was hard, two low and uncomfortable they gave me the code to two empty rooms in the home and I chose another room with a VERY comfortable bed for the same price although it should have been a little more. Overall I LOVE Padsplit.com and my current home has cameras in the common areas which will allow them to know if someone isn’t cleaning up after themselves. They also seemed to do a double check on who was moving in which I loved!

Great option I just relocated from Greensboro, NC to Richmond with no stress at all. The move in was smooth. The house is 15 minutes from my job and the house is quiet.
