After reading all the positive reviews I went with Outpost because I loved the look of the work and we try support other small business owners when we can. Unfortunately we had some delay with our order, but a very good colleague of Mike's emailed explaining that Mike was very ill and unable to work so gave us the option for cancellng and refund. We decided to wait wishing Mike a speedy recovery and sure enough it was very worth it! Thank you Mike, we love our hot iron brand, it is going to make the best business cards ever! .

High quality stamps that work really well on dampened veg tan leather. Detailed and durable.

Because it's a small business and popular too (due to great product) - make sure you allow time for order to be processed and arrive. Very reasonable turn around, just don't expect it the next day :)

Amazing quality on the branding plate - really accurate when you get used to the branding process.

The only thing that would be nice is an indicator on the electric iron component to tell when it has come up to temp.

After contacting the company sending all my requirements and paying upfront the company went silent
No repossesses to any many emails etc
Eventually I instructed my bank to intervene
They took this matter on and registered a claim back to retrieve my money
This must have prompted them to respond as I then received a message making some excuses and then asking for the money again to proceed ? On the basis of me paying again which I rejected this
Not only did they fail (6 weeks +) without dialogue they then expected money first again
So I decided not to go with this as all trust had gone and the attitude was all wrong

We are a newly founded crafts business in our first few months of trading and after a lot of careful research we were really excited to go with Outpost Workshop to buy a custom iron with electric upgrade. We spent ages creating the artwork and although more expensive we were happy with the credentials of the Outpost Workshop and to support a domestic small business.
However since ordering the iron we have heard absolutely nothing. The website says 2-4 days for production and we ordered a full month ahead of an event where we hoped to have our products featuring our new brand. We have emailed many times, also sent messages via messenger, instagram and etsy but have heard absolutely nothing.
As a result of this we are now attending one of our first shows as a new business startup without some of our products featuring our logo. To say we are disappointed is an understatement.
Regardless of what has occurred for the company owner personally, to not receive any correspondence at all, or even have someone put something online to say that orders are on hold etc is really just unbelievable and unacceptable. We are now chasing a refund via our bank. So sad. Do not use!

I have emailed this company twice with no response. I ordered my branding tool over a month ago and have not received anything or even a response.

Just got an email from someone called Conor explaining Mike was laid up for a while, so glad I got an explanation for delay really looking forward to getting the stamp.

I needed a stamp for some leather work with our company logo, Outpost work shop provided a quality stamp for just that. Quick turn around and securely packaged. Will use again in future if needed. Great guides for achieving best results on their website. Brilliant Job.

Ordered a custom branding iron (not the electric one) from Outpost Workshop. It was sent to me 4 days after ordering and delivered promptly by Royal Mail. Just tried it, and it's perfect. Exactly what I was after for branding wood products. Excellent quality and very well engineered. Would highly recommend

The precision of my stamp and the finish on it brilliant.

Really good detailed bit of engineering. Solid brass with my own design engraved into it.

It is hard to gauge the size and how the design will fit. If I did it again I’d go one size bigger than I think is right but that’s my preference.

The design works well but it is a bit hard to gauge the heat required if you don’t purchase the electric one. Doing it in a scrap bit of wood and getting it right before doing it in the work you want branding.

Will happily purchase one again.

Given a four as it did take a lot longer than expected for the price and I did have to contact several times but glad it came eventually

I wait twice as long as they advertise for my item to be delivered. The branding iron burns when it reaches maximum heat and there's no way of controlling the temperature, other than turning it off/on. I have found that it works best when you leave it on and then turn it off 2 minutes before use! The instructions are not included, which is a real inconvenience.

Ordered first leather stamp from Outpost. Quality excellent, very happy and wil be back.

Although it took two weeks to arrived the quality is great. I did send an email and got a reply saying there was a lot of orders he was trying to catch up with. Worth the wait to be honest, will be getting another at some point
