I was really surprised that it was as easy as it is. It legitimately just works.
It took 2 minutes to pair it the first time and i haven't touched it since.
2 idiosyncracies:
1. youtube audio and video are out of sync. Thats a bluetooth problem, just know to expect it
2. if you walk away and back to your car, your phone will reconnect with the Ottocast.
This is great for quick connection, but probably annoying if you're mowing the yard and listening to something and it keeps disconnecting you. The solution is to live in an apartment.

This is a great product at a reasonable price. I recommend it.

Refuses to reclaim a broken product. Be aware of this scam.

It's an awesome products, smart small easy to use. The thing I appreciated more is the easy installation procedure; in less than 10 seconds the device was connected to CarPlay! Great also the customer service.

There are a lot of wireless CarPlay adapters sold on Amazon and I chose to order this directly from the factory because it was version 3.0. I reached out to Ottocast asking what was different in the new version and it was all the things I was worried about....speed, heat dispersion, etc. It is now Installed and works perfectly

How long does it take to get my order? Do not order from the website. Order on Amazon.

This is the 3rd Android Auto wireless adapter I've owned, the first Ottocast brand. The install was seamless. As soon as I connected the Bluetooth, it came right up and I was online. I've found that it is significantly more responsive than the ones it replaced. The voice to text feature was much more reliable. And the Ottocast 3rd Generation seems more resistant to interference as well.

Excellent device ,i bought Ottocast Mini Cube 3.0 Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto Adapter and use it with apple carplay.Its work fantastic and connect fast!

While easy to setup, the experience was disappointing. I bought this for my wife for her birthday and she stopped using it after 2-3 days. She uses the Waze app frequently and though initially displaying fine, it would eventually lose resolution and look like an old Windows 3.1 app. She also couldn’t use Waze and play music like Spotify or take a phone call at the same time as it would always drop the audio. Cute little device and good price, but it just didn’t perform as expected.

My ottocast cube arrived in good time, well packaged and importantly in simple to use and works well! Thank you!

Easy to install, comes with USB c adaptor and works. Postage was a little expensive for such a small package but considering it came from China it did arrive promptly.

It was recommended by a friend. The design is sleek and simple. I have using it for few days now and loved it so far. It’s just convenient, international shipping was also included

Perfect... Words are not enough

Following install instructions and repeatedly connecting to Bluetooth and device WiFi. Device reboots repeatedly on its own. Bluetooth continuously disconnects and connects. Prompts to allow favorites contacts but CarPlay fails. I have only been able to successfully get CarPlay to work once and was hoping just an initial setup issue but I have to go through this routine of reseating device and connecting over and over. Opened browser and verified device has latest firmware. Running iPhone 18.x OS. Ready to call customer service and return. Unfortunately not working for me even though other reviews praise how great it works.

The adapter is extremely small and doesn’t occupy much space on my USB port. The adapter shows no noticeable lag time when using CarPlay features. The adapter takes about 20 seconds after the car is turned on to connect to the phone. All in all, I am happy with my purchase. One thing to note, shipping will take almost two weeks, which I did not expect to happen.

It doesn’t cast/ mirror the phone as advertised. It only connects to AirPlay which is basically useless as my phone then can’t charge.

The experience was great, the item came from China but it got delivered fast within a week. The product is great too: compact and easy to set up. I enjoy that the device connects automatically after the first initial set up. Amazing device.

This device worked only intermittently, and when it did work, it behaved very differently than other CarPlay adapters/cables, meaning it seemed to forcibly take over the system and play music even if you’re listening to something else or using the car’s built-in system. This included when I had auto-play settings specifically turned off on the iPhone and in the car.

Then, after about three days of use, it just stopped working. I could no longer connect to the device by Bluetooth or Wi-Fi; it just flashes red and then turns off.

Requesting a refund has been such a challenge; they keep asking for videos and logs — I can’t connect to it, it doesn’t work. I can’t get a log. Plus, I can’t email the video; their email server won’t accept large files…

Luckily, I still had my older, bigger CarPlay adapter on hand, so I could switch back easily. I just want a refund (which is promised on the ad if an issue is raised in 30 days).

Seems to work well so far, a couple times it froze up but other than it’s good. Connects whenever I get into the car, generally takes a little bit before it starts up, but overall good. I will say that shipping took a long time (2 weeks) and the company never responded to any emails, so I wasn’t too fond of that.

It doesn't work, weak connection with 2 different cars and iPhone CarPlay connection lost frequently, i don't see any Apple CarPlay on the car screen...
