Warranty is bogus
Went through warranty page filled it all out for a page to come up saying please call, so I sent a email to them letting them know the page isn't working and he said to call too, I don't have the time for that that's what the online claim forms is for, then I figured out they don't even have the case anymore what a joke

I have used OtterBox for all me cell phones. They have worked great. I do not drop my phone often but the couple of times that I have, nothing happens to the phone.

SCRAP OR TAKE A HARD PASS ON OTTERBOX 17 PRO MAX & GO WITH “ENCASED”
My wife and I have been loyal Otterbox Defender/Symmetry users for many years now. I have always partnered the Defender with the holster belt clip as I knew when landscaping or working outside that it was safe.
With the advent of the iPhone 17 pro max we once again ordered the Defender/Symmetry cases and a holster belt clip for me.
Upon arrival and installation both cases seemed to be in as good quality as previous cases but the phone did not seem secure in the belt holster clip as previous generations.
Long story short after going through the long process of requesting a new holster 3 times and a new Defender case 3 times and having the Otterbox glass screen protector break each time it came off the holster I decided to scrap
OTTERBOX!
Otterbox is definitely not a cheap case and to incur additional costs which never should have been required was extremely annoying.
I purchased a much cheaper “Encased” case which came with a far superior belt clip at a fraction of the cost.
So my recommendation is…
Scrap or take a hard pass on the very pricey Otterbox and go with ENCASED
UPDATE
Otterbox customer care has NOT been able to rectify this problem for 9 months now. I’m extremely happy with my “ENCASED” Case and the added benefit is, it doesn’t suddenly release when you are least expecting it.

my case fell apart in a less than a year and then when i warrantied another one, which i had to pay like 10-15 dollar shipping on that one fell apart in like 3 months
