I have had both cataract surgery on my left eye and laser surgery on my right eye to improve a lens/cataract operation performed more than 10 years ago.
The surgeon, Miss Thamina Pearson was very professional, welcoming at made me feel very comfortable.
The laser treatment that followed later was fast and efficient. Every step was fully explained and I would recommend the optometrist, Amrit and the Patient Advisor, Deborah.
Both treatments were carried out at Chelmsford.
A first class service throughout.

My son had a sight test in ST.Enochs. i was seen by Yvonne. Very good expeirence veru quick.

The receptionists, Marian and Iona, were welcoming and helpful and the optician, Bernice, similarly efficient and pleasant. They explained everything clearly and the whole experience was problem free. Definitely better than other opticians l had visited previously!

I received excellent care from all the staff from reception to the clinicians at the first meeting until the last appointment at Glasgow SVS. I had cataract surgery and the whole process was very well explained, Owen was helpful and informative and a pleasure to deal with. My optometrist Ross and as well as the other optometrists and optician (sorry didn’t get all your names) and surgeon Dr Teenan were very professional and put me at ease. I Highly recommended them to anyone considering eye surgery.

I visited the Newcastle branch a few days ago I have nothing but very positive feedback for the whole team working at optical express.
My patient coordinator/advisor was Laura, she was very helpful very knowledgeable and had excellent customer service skills. I was there about 1.5 hours and the time flew by because you are in constant contact with one of the team. I couldn’t recommend them enough

I had my laser eye consultation at Maidstone and was seen by Heather, Adrian and Andras during my appointment, who were all incredibly professional, knowledgeable and friendly, putting me at ease. I was able to ask questions freely and given information about which option was best suited to me and why.

I was able to talk about risks and worries, which made me feel confident in making a decision, as well as reviewing recovery timelines in line with my hobbies.

I was provided with dates and payment options without feeling pushed in any way to make a decision then and there.

I can't wait to get booked in!

I found Optical Express on line, and so glad i did. They have been so helpful and caring throughout. I was unsure what to do to improve my eyesight, but with their thorough examinations and reviews, i was well informed of my options. I decided to go with eye lens replacement surgery with a multi focal lens in each eye in the end, and couldn’t be more happier. I’ve worn glasses all my life, and become more dependent on them the past 20 years. Now I’m glasses free, and the benefits are too numerous to list here, but it’s changed my life for the better. The team at both the Nottingham branch and aftercare at Lincoln have been professional, caring, and friendly. As an anxious person, i feared the worst about surgery, but with them looking after my every need and worries, it went amazingly. I was so at ease throughout, the whole surgery day was an experience, and not an ordeal.

Special thanks to Sharon, Stacie, Sophie, Jacci, Charley, and Monica. They really did make a difference, and for that i am very grateful. There was others, but I failed to get all their names. And above all to my surgeon Manu Mathew for his skill, advice, and care. He really does know how to look after his patients well. Thank you all

I had a very good experience the staff was so nice and friendly especially Sadaf and Shezad. They performed the scans so quick and efficiently and talked me through everything. Would highly recommend the Leeds Whiterose branch.

Yesterday I attended optical express in Glasgow. From getting out of the lift to leaving it was a delightful experience. On arrival i was really apprehensive. The reception staff were very welcoming and attentive. Offered refreshments. I then was taken by Eve for a thorough eye check from the balloon we see in one test to the back of my eye. I then met Claire who talked me through everything and again checked my eyes. Make sure you know your right from left 🤩. At the end cost and dates discussed. No pressure like some places. All being well with my surgeon consultation I will be going ahead. Thank you for an enlightening experience.

Where do I start! My nearest Optical Express is Milton Keynes, to keep it brief.
Had both Lens replacements surgery one in December & one in February.
Although the surgery went perfectly & the pain was almost was nothing. The aftercare was phenomenal! I had further treatment in both eyes with YAG Capsulotomy which was completely pain free & took 5 mins. I had to have additional lasik surgery in the right eye only. Just to sharpen up the prescription. This was two days ago. Already I see improvement, my left eye from day one has been phenomenal for long distance, even now I drive around reading number plates. Which I couldn’t before 😂. The most important part of this process has been the service, the staff! I literally know everyone’s name, the MK branch has been like an extended family. Yes I’m one of the 2% that has had a few issues, but everyone I know that has had the same treatment has had no issues.
So the question is was it worth the money & do I regret it? Yes it’s expensive but the technology, the staff the professionalism of the team, the aftercare makes it all worth it. You need to remember it’s your eyes that they are operating on, so the fees are justified. Do I regret it ? No not a chance! The things I can see is phenomenal, your eyes are the windows to this life we live. Why would you not want to see it in full colour & clarity!

Had an initial consultation today after having completed a lot of research myself online and deciding Optical Express Brighton was the best option.

I attended the appointment knowing due to my prescription laser surgery might not be possible as I am short sighted and starting to be long sighted too. I knew lens replacement surgery might be the only solution which would be quite a lot of money.

Unfortunately after the test and consultation it became evident that I am not able to have laser surgery or lens replacement surgery due to my current prescription. However the team were incredibly professional and helpful throughout.

They were honest and informative throughout.

Particular thanks to Dilara for being lovely explaining all of the pre-exam machines (happy to say I passed them all first time) and to Danielle who was brilliant too.

I won’t work for me, but the team in Brighton are amazing and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking in to eye surgery.

I went up to the Dartford clinic for the Second time as my first appointment had ran out but on both occasions I found everyone very helpful and friendly especially the second time as both jameel and Hardip were very attentive and made me feel very comfortable very friendly and explained everything in detail so was very pleased to go ahead with my correction surgery

Ana and Dona fully explained the options and procedures.
Answered all my questions.
Very helpful finding a payment option that would suit my situation.
