Refund not returning and no customer support

I booked a SpiceJet flight from Dubai to Delhi (ATQ) through Opodo. The flight was cancelled by the airline on 10th March, but I still have not received my refund.
I directly contacted the airline, and they clearly confirmed that the refund has already been processed from their side. However, Opodo keeps saying they have not received anything.
I have sent 5 emails to Opodo customer support, but I have not received any proper response. There is also no customer care number available, which makes the situation even worse.
For comparison, my friend booked the same flight through another agency and he received the refund within 9 days.
This is extremely frustrating. Opodo is not responding and not releasing my money.
Please be careful and avoid booking flights through Opodo.

Cancelation Opodo Prime service

As I don't use Opodo, I have cancelled my account with them.
Their link to their site in order to cancel did not work, nor dit the site itself allow me to cancel it online.
I had to call them. There, the person has been very helpful to propose options (many rebates when you insist...).
As I do not use this service anymore, I have confirmed my cancellation. Which has been confirmed by email right after my call.

Dishonest and untrustworthy

My husband booked me booked a flight through Opodo that was later cancelled by the airline. Although Opodo told us the airline had refunded the booking, we never received the money. Each time we contacted them, we were given a different explanation, which has left me highly frustrated and disappointed with the service. Based on my experience, I would definitely not trust them to handle refunds reliably or act in customers’ interests.

Opodo Scam-another fooled customer, read more Trustpilot reviews on the same topic

Opodo scam. In September 2024 I purchased a travel service from this agency at a promotional price for Opodo members. I didn't know then that I would have to pay for this facility with 89.99E representing the special membership fee for one year (no, thanks!) and the impossibility of contacting them - no e-mail,ONLY by phone. Beyond this incident, today I bought some plane tickets again from the Skyscanner search engine, through Opodo. I was careful to check the more expensive option with 40E more which was not for members and I was charged accordingly (so that I no longer benefit from their subscription that I could have chosen). In vain! A few hours later I received an email telling me that I had a free period (a few days!) in 2024, but now I can't get anything for free and I will be subscribed to Opodo FOR LIFE as long as I don't unsubscribe ONLY in the period leading up to the one-year subscription and of course, the only way to unsubscribe is by phone, with a special fee, where you talk to the robot for minutes at a special price until someone answers, if they answer. I was charged 99.99E again to make me a mandatory member for 2026. For which reason I had to block my card, to refuse this abusive payment. Please read many other reviews regarding this abusive behavior of scam, to convince yourself that I'm not lying. Opodo - you are the pure definition of criminal scam!

Worst service

We bought tickets for May 19th and after we had already chosen the date, the system changed it to May 12th and we were forced to make a change that cost us another 80 euros. I asked them to take responsibility for what happened and they shrugged it off, claiming that I returned to them a whole day after it happened... a disparaging reference, not to mention the feeling that they intentionally stole money from us.

Travel Agent is supposed to make your journey better, but Opodo works in opposite direction. Use them if you want to mess up your holiday.

Worst Customer Service ever. First opodo deletes the first segment on my itinerary and send an email to get it sorted with Airlines. The service agent admit that Opodo has deleted the segment and assure to resolve the issue but nothing moves. All you get is an email from backend team to sort it out with Airlines. Travel Agent is supposed to make your journey but Opodo works in opposite direction.
