Quick and easily done, engineer was really good, explained everything and very tidy and efficient

Easy to book appointment; technicians arrived when they said they would; work done quickly and cleanly.

The switch from analogue to digital was both lengthy and complicated. Now, a few days later, I cannot make any outgoing calls. I don't know if incoming calls are similarly blocked. I have phoned EE 4/5 times but keep getting cut off because my broadband connection is so poor. Which is why, as an 81 year old woman, I rely on my landline. And no one seems able to remedy the fault. If I had the option of giving you no stars at all, believe me, I would take it.

Prior to installation ample emails and sms messages were received as a reminder of our appointment and also giving ample opportunity to reschedule.
The openreach engineer, Lewis,
rang ahead and arrived on time.
A very polite, efficient, and well spoken young man.
He explained and discussed the possible cable runs and we agreed on a solution that was perfect for our requirements
The task was carried out without problem and the work completed to a high standard.
A tidy worker who cleared up after finishing and then did a test and demo, answering any of our questions regarding the new fibre working.
Cannot fault the process from start to finish.

The connection was fine but the engineer took a large chunk of the face of the brickwork near where he drilled the hole for the fibre cable to come through and filled the elongated hole with polystyrene.

Excellent service. Nathan was very efficient and helpful.

Visited this morning in Macduff by Danny who was brilliant. He was a credit to Openreach. He asked where we wanted the connection point installed and even advised the best location so it would be hidden from view. Outside, he clarified where we wanted the cable and even removed some old cabling. During his visit he advised us that the old satellite dish mount was dangerously corroded and even helped take it down (it literally snapped off!). He also let us use his drill to install a hose hook!
Friendly and considerate, tidying up afterwards and putting up with 2 nosey spaniels. Excellent chap and great service.

The engineer arrived on time, introduced himself and explained what he would be doing. The work was carried out professionally and efficiently and didn’t take as long as I expected.
All in all a very tidy job with the engineer respecting my property.

It’s been nearly 3 years of one cancellation after another. My neighbours have had fibre fitted last year, the cable passes my gate. I’ve had conversations with four to five engineers, but it’s one cancellation after another.
I was getting ready for Wednesday’s appointment, but I wasn’t holding my breath, another cancellation just proves how consistently poor you are in keeping appointments.
You’ve given me a new date when I’m on holiday. There’s likely to be no one here on that date, in a month’s time. The nearly 3 years will definitely be more than 3 years very soon. I’ll expect to see you when you’re knocking on my door, until then I’ll wait with no expectations of you keeping an appointment.

Very informative answered every question I had

I had new fibre ONT box fitted with new router. Wi Fi worked briefly ; but on second day , LOS red fault ‘ led ‘ came on . I have reset ONT and router on many attempts to fix fault .

Not happy with service and without internet connection for a week

It was a hot day & the engineer has a lot of ‘uniform’ to wear , but I found him rather surely. He didn’t tidy up the frond cement dust or realise the trash bins .
He did use the old Virgin holes in walls , which I was grateful for ( was my idea ).

Kept well informed throughout and work was done professionally and timely. Deducted one star for some confusion at their end re work to be done and sequencing.

The installer was very helpful and efficient.

The two engineers arrived on time, were very courteous and careful, and worked effectively outside and inside our property. They discussed the whole job with us, especially the best position to install the internal hub point and fitted everything very cleanly and efficiently. Very pleased with the work, and the resulting connection.

Everything went very well and we were kept informed and updated about every stage !!

connected to my wifi . I struggled to get my Alexa sorted , also my printer.
