The same engineer came to my property…
The same engineer came to my property about a year ago when I was trying to get connected to Sky internet. At that time, he told me that there was no telephone master socket at the property. Because of this, our household had to use 5G internet instead, which has been very unstable.
About 1–2 weeks ago, I decided to try again to get a normal broadband connection installed. Yesterday, the same engineer came to my property. At first, he again told me that there was no telephone master socket. However, it was later established that there actually is a master socket at the property, despite being told a year ago that there wasn't one.
The engineer then said he did not have the necessary tools and that he would return later that day or the following day to complete the installation. I contacted him afterwards and he said he would come the next day around midday. He never arrived and did not respond to my messages.
Nothing has been installed and I am still without the broadband service I ordered. I am extremely disappointed and concerned about this situation, especially because the same engineer told me a year ago that there was no master socket when there actually is one.

It was a good experience because the person installing my fibre broadband had a time slot of 8am-1pm and he arrived at 8.05am! A very pleasant young man who explained what he had to do then continued with the job, explaining as he went, warning when it was going to be very noisy etc.

The engineer installed the fibre connection to my router, and I was told at the end that there’s a problem with the connection to activate. He told he’ll be coming back with a part to activate and never returned back and no communication was made to contact me back, no response to my calls
