Very disappointed with Nile Air after…

Very disappointed with Nile Air after the cancellation of flight NE21 from Luxor to Cairo on 6 March 2026, less than 24 hours before departure.

This last-minute cancellation caused us serious inconvenience during our trip. Because of it, we had to pay €380 for a private van to get to Cairo, and the journey took around 8 hours. As a result, we lost visits we had already booked in advance and wasted a big part of the very limited time we had there, since we only had 2 days in Cairo.

We are still waiting for a fair resolution, including a full refund and clarification regarding any compensation applicable in this situation.

Not allowed to board despite all regular documents

My husband had a flight from Cairo to Italy, he is Egyptian with a Swiss residence visa, I was supposed to pick him up at the airport and go back to Switzerland with the car. Which is totally fine and among the regulations (Schengen agreements and all, the visa is valid to travel to Italy 100% no doubts we have done it many times). They didn't let him board because according to them the visa wasn't valid in Italy. Unhelpful staff, more unhelpful customer service by the phone, totally incompetent and they are not aware of any rule it seems. We tried with supervisors, they just said it was "company policy" (????) and they had no idea what to do but he could not board. Don't travel with them if you don't want to find yourself stuck somewhere

Edit: we asked for a refund but they can't do anything since for them it's like he was not there. They stole our money. (EgyptAir the next day let him board no issue so it wasn't our problem)

They changed scheduled flight and don't bother to respond

They changed scheduled flight on 6th March and timing. So I asked Booking.com to communicate that we should get a refund. And also unlikely that we will be able to make our trip. No response. I wrote to them - directly - on 6t March - using wecare email as they put on their website. No one bothered to respond. Very unlikely they even read those emails or try to care for their customer. We are unable to catch the new flight of 11th. Looks like $297 is gone

Never book this airline

First time I book this airline flight was at 5.15 in screens was 2h late no explanation nothing.
After suposto departure at 7am at 7.30 started boarding and at 8.20 pilot come late.
No sorry no compensation nothing.

❌Do NOT use Nesma Airlines,service belongs in a scrap yard

Nesma Airlines One of the Worst Airline Experiences the worst airlines in the world.
The ground staff at Cairo Airport were extremely rude, aggressive, and unprofessional. There was no respect, no manners, and no willingness to listen or explain. The behavior felt careless and arrogant, as if passengers’ rights and dignity meant nothing.
An airline that treats passengers this way does not deserve trust or recommendation. Management seriously needs to review staff training and behavior because this level of service belongs in a scrap yard, not the aviation industry.
❌ I strongly advise people: Do NOT use Nesma Airlines.

Good luck getting refunds for cancelled flights!

Cancelled our flight at 11pm. Phone lines and contact not open until 9am. All they would offer us is a flight 3 days later, even though could see other available flights online. Having an absolute nightmare getting a refund. Absolutely unhelpful customer serivce that deliberately makes everything difficult. Avoid at all costs.

Cairo Aswan Flight Horrible Experience

This was by far the worst airline experience of my life, and I travel frequently around the world.

This was a Cairo–Aswan flight, originally scheduled to depart at 10:00 AM. We were first informed that the flight was delayed by one hour, which we accepted. However, the reality was very different — by 12:25 PM we were still waiting for the plane to take off, with no clear information or explanation.

The chaos started at check-in. There were only two counters serving all passengers, forcing us to stand in line for more than 30 minutes just to receive our boarding passes, all while being reassured that the delay would be minimal.

We then proceeded to the gate at the announced time, only to be left waiting in a hall for over an hour before being taken to the aircraft by bus. The situation became completely unacceptable when we were packed into an extremely overcrowded bus and then locked inside it because the aircraft was not ready.

The conditions were unsafe and inhumane. My wife was close to fainting, and to make matters worse, we were traveling with our young daughter, making the situation extremely stressful and difficult to endure. There was no assistance, no priority handling, and no concern shown by the staff.

Eventually, we were taken to the plane, where we continued waiting without knowing the actual departure time. There were no announcements, no updates, and no accountability.

When passengers tried to ask for information, the response was shocking: staff said they work from early morning and “don’t know anything” about the situation. This level of ignorance, lack of responsibility, and disregard for passengers — especially families with children — is unacceptable.

This experience reflects severe mismanagement, extremely poor communication, and zero customer service standards. I have traveled extensively across the world and have never experienced anything as bad as this.

I strongly do NOT recommend Nesma Airlines. Avoid it if you value your time, safety, and basic human respect.

What a bad company

What a bad company. Both flights delayed 3 hours and more. The don't give any information. Safetyinstruction short and useless. Children that sitting next to emergency exits during the flight. The second flight was overbooked and the choose people out of 45-50 people who can go with the fligt or not. One of the stewards in the second flight was more busy with flirt with a girl then helping another passenger. I don't fly ever again with nesma. Watch out i red that they wanna change their name. Guess why. New name will be 'Flyplus'.

This airline un trusted company and un…

This airline un trusted company and un professional as I decided to book one flight by Nesma Airlines,I called the hotline to make sure that the flight what I need to book is not a Charter flight and after I booked and went to the airport they said you can't check in as this flight is a Charter flight

I called the hotline again and they asked me to wait at the airport, after more than 4 hours no action has been taken then I booked another flight

Worst Airline ever

Worst Airline ever. We are still on the floor, being 2 hours late , in the summer, with no air conditioning . Nobody tells what’s wrong. Just waiting and sitting. Horror. Avoid this carrier at all costs.

Terrible service

Cancelled the flight and rebooked me to a time that is not convenient, when i asked for refund they initially responded then started to ignore my messages requesting a refund. $200 wasted on this terrible airline, and I had to book a different airline. Thank god for Egypt Air.

Don’t use this company

I wrote to the company asking how long time I had to be in Hurghada airport before flying to Cairo, since I had received no information from them regarding check in. They replied 3 Hours! The flight takes one hour! They also wrote that online check in is not possible. I replied to them asking if it could be true, but after 6 days I have still not received an answer. Turns out that you cannot even go through security before 2 HOURS prior to departure, and you can actually check in online. We spent one hour from 5-6 AM sitting outside the airport security!

Why can't i get any response from…

Why can't i get any response from customer support email address? It has been 24 hours and no reply!

My flight was cancelled by you and i cant get any support to retrieve or change it.

What kind of customer service is this?

I urgently ask for support regarding my ticket.

I will complain another ticket to IATA soon.
