I ordered a brand-new Gucci bag – a high-priced luxury item (2350 euro). What I received, however, was an obviously used bag with visible dirt, signs of wear, and – unbelievably – several pairs of used socks inside!!!
Yes, you read that correctly: used socks inside what was supposed to be a new designer bag, along with dirt.
This raises a very basic question: how can something like this even happen? Are items at Mytheresa not being checked? Are returns simply reshipped without proper inspection?
What was even more disappointing was how the situation was handled. Instead of offering an immediate, customer-oriented solution, I had to repeatedly provide photos and prove the condition of the item. The entire process was time-consuming and unnecessarily complicated – despite the fact that the mistake was clearly not on my side.
I had specifically ordered the bag with express shipping for an upcoming trip, which was completely ruined due to this issue.
I returned the used bag over 10 days ago. The return has been confirmed as received, and despite multiple follow-ups, I still have not been given any clear information on when I will receive the replacement. For a luxury retailer, this level of delay and lack of transparency is simply unacceptable.
Even more disappointing is that despite repeatedly requesting appropriate compensation or a refund, nothing has been offered so far. I spent around 4 hours messaging, providing evidence, and following up.
Instead, I was only offered an exchange – without any meaningful consideration of the inconvenience, time lost, and overall experience. At this point, I could have simply returned the bag and placed a new order myself, with far less effort and frustration.
For a company positioning itself in the luxury segment, this is simply not acceptable. There is a clear mismatch between the premium brand promise and the actual customer experience.
Final conclusion: extremely disappointing and a significant loss of trust. This is not what premium service should look like.

Fast shipping, great selection and easy returns. bought two sizes for a MOB dress. Kept one and returned the other. Had my refund within days of them receiving
Very poor experience. Return was confirmed received, then nothing for days - no update, no shipment. It was honestly worrying. Over 2 weeks of delay and no support, just some automatic mail apologies. They also charged my card chf 18 without any clear reason. Completely unacceptable!

Mytheresa is a great shopping platform. It delivers beautifully wrapped goods and has no problem taking back returns.
I recently had a really disappointing experience with Mytheresa.
My order arrived in unacceptable condition, which was frustrating enough given the price point and expectations from a luxury retailer. Trying to resolve the issue only added to the frustration. The communication was slow, unclear at times, and I had to chase multiple times for updates.
Although the team eventually acknowledged the issue and confirmed a refund had been processed, the experience since then has been even worse. They have now had my return and my money for over a week, and I still haven’t received the refund, despite being told it would be back in my account within a couple of days. When I explored this, they in fact had not issued my refund and was waiting on the inspection of my return (they have had my return for a week) and they certainly didnt inspect the bag prior to sending to me.
Overall, this has been a stressful and unnecessarily drawn-out process. Between poor quality control, slow communication, and delays with something as basic as a refund, it’s been a really disappointing experience.
At this point, it’s easily one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. I wouldn’t recommend based on how difficult they’ve made what should have been a straightforward return and refund.

I send my order in return , apparently ups lost my order , it happened on the 31 st of March , I have been mailing and phoning customer service , they all tell me the same story that they are looking in to it , but nothing happens , I am still waiting for a refund of 850 Euro , I have been a client for 20 years but I think this is not ok !!
