1.shortage of food for vegetarians and vegan with not much choice in food
2. found hair in my freshly cooked omelette , which came straight from the kitchen
3. guest relations not smiling .....must be they are also unhappy working for msc, so how are They going to help us with our problems?

MSC Grandiosa
Our family has had a wonderful holiday aboard MSC Grandiosa, and we wanted to take a moment to recognise some of the incredible crew members who helped make our trip so memorable.

Natalia – Master of the Sea
Thank you for your kindness, warmth and compassion. Taking our father’s memorial disc with you was a gesture that meant more to our family than words can express. Knowing that a small part of him will continue travelling the world brings us great comfort. His adventures will continue with you.

Gerard – Safari Bar
Cool, calm and collected, Gerard was always a friendly face we looked forward to seeing each day. Professional, approachable and consistently welcoming, he helped make every visit to the Safari Bar a pleasure.

Millie – Safari Bar
From remembering my name after my very first drink order to keeping everyone smiling with his humour and energy, Millie was fantastic. Friendly, funny and seemingly tireless, he is a real credit to the team.

Ghali – Cabin Attendant
Always nearby when needed, attentive, kind and genuinely helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Ghali, and his hard work and dedication never went unnoticed. He looked after us exceptionally well throughout our stay.

Joye – Purple Crab
Joye has a wonderful way of making guests feel special. Every interaction was warm and welcoming, and he somehow managed to make us feel like celebrities whenever we visited. A special thank you for arranging the retirement dessert and applause for our mother. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made her celebration feel truly special and created a memory our family will cherish for years to come.

Eugene – Purple Crab
No matter how busy the restaurant was, Eugene greeted us each evening with his trademark “same same” without missing a beat. His consistency, humour and attention to detail became one of those little moments we looked forward to every day.

Ronny – Purple Crab
Steady, reliable and consistently professional. Ronny provided excellent service throughout our cruise and is a great asset to both the Purple Crab team and the MSC brand as a whole.

Our cabin man made a huge difference too our holiday as we have a disabled so he made sure we had everything we needed ie towels. bags very attentive.

Enjoyed the trip

Great ship, great food, great service and great staff.

To be honest as a first time cruiser I was a bit overwhelmed with the size of the ship and the thousands of fellow travellers. The coffee shop staff were a delight but the staff at the bar on the promenade deck seemed to spend most of their time washing and stacking glasses and there was never one barman serving. Overall a very happy experience

This seems good value at first sight, but the excessive prices for drinks (either individual or packages), wi-fi and excursions really hike up the cost.
Food was never hot.
Activities and entertainment were not very varied and often not available unless booked several days in advance. Some activities were not possible to book at all, so people were turned away after queuing for 20-25 minutes.
Excursions were rushed.
All in all, I did not feel like a valued customer

The staff on MSC Virtuosa were fabulous. They made our time on the ship very enjoyable. Our waiters Khilesh and Rajiv were so amazing we ate at the restaurant every night. Our favourite bar was the Sky Lounge which offered great views from inside and again, the staff were amazing. Kaisharv, Wirawan, Martina, Nikil and Putu were all brilliant. They got to know us and our orders which made spending time there a great experience.
The destinations were amazing and Iceland had a really great atmosphere. We were helped by the lovely weather in June which allowed us to experience Iceland and Norway without the need for a big coat!

Excellent but affordable cruise to Ireland, Iceland and Norway.

We really enjoyed our cruise. This was only our second cruise, and the first one was 30 years ago. Contrary to some of the reviews I read before embarking, we found it very well organised. Language is not a problem - everyone spoke good English, and all announcements tended to be in English first. The food was of a consistently high standard, with plenty of choice in the restaurants and buffet. Staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi could be a bit patchy at times but was generally sufficient for normal use.
