Good value and helpful staff

Helpful person on the phone. No 5* because the online purchase didn't work, and there was no indication as to why until I spoke to someone on the phone. Other than that, good value. Hopefully, it will pan out if/when I need to use the insurance.

Deceptive and incompetent

We had a policy with more than. Part way through our policy due to relocating we had non option but to cancel the policy. Due to us cancelling the policy they have now advised that they do not honour any claim which was made whilst the policy was open and therefore we need to pay these claims ourselves. I raised a complaint and got told by the person who rang me that they could only read to me the T&Cs and could not explain or discuss it further. The issue would need to be escalated which a response could take upto 8 further weeks. It’s already been over 4 weeks.

I will not have insurance with them again as this is a very deceptive way to con customers. When we took out the policy we didn’t know we would need to cancel part way through the first year. For reference the policy was active for over 6 months and all payments were made.

I made a legitimate claim for my puppy…

I made a legitimate claim for my puppy for vet bills and more than pet insurance made me jump through hoops chasing vets uploading photos and letters finding medical records and after all this still denied paying the claim if i couldn't even get 134 quid off them what chance is anyone got in getting a payment for something major i recommend everyone else find a different company to insure your pet with

Easy to sort out an no more expensive…

Easy to sort out an no more expensive than my mobile bill so that's a bonus, I was recommended to you bye someone who just needed to use his insurance for an operation on his dog otherwise would have been pts so for £40 a month its piece of mind.

Took out my Pet insurance with More…

Took out my Pet insurance with More Than, submitted a claim for a minor operation at the beginning of February. Still not settled, very poor customer service, completely dissecting every aspect of the claim. Nothing getting resolved even after making an official complaint. I will not be renewing after this year is up.

Used to be brilliant, then Admiral took over...

Since Admiral took over, the service has become a disaster.

Our Boston Terrier requires regular medication, which he has been taking every 4–6 weeks since he was young. When More Than was run by Royal Sun Alliance, these claims were paid promptly every few weeks with no issues at all.

Since Admiral took over, the claims system has become slow and clunky. Almost every other claim now takes weeks and weeks to be paid. They repeatedly go back to the vet for further information, even though his dosage, treatment frequency, and medical history have not changed. Every time they do this, the vet charges us an additional £40.

It feels like they are trying every possible way to avoid paying claims before eventually having to settle them. Customer service is practically non-existent, and I’m now preparing to raise my second formal complaint in just a few months about the poor standard of service from Admiral/More Than.
