Worst insurance company

Worst insurance company I believe.
My luggage is broken and i lost many stuff.I sent all of documents that they requested but after 4 month they declined my application.
I try to talk to my case officer but he sent me email that I don't have time to talk.
I don't recommend this Moderna insurance.

Unfair insurance provider, hide behind vague terms

I have Moderna as the insurance carrier for my Gold Mastercard. One of Mastercards selling points is that if you book a trip using the card you automatically get some form of travel insurance should things go wrong. In my case, my luggage was lost and me and my children were left without key items upon arrival. Moderna would not fully honour the insurance claim for items purchased and I had to go back and forth with them many times before they deferred me to claims court. This unfortunately lives up to the perceived stereo type of insurance companies and the headaches that ensue once you try to pursue a claim. This has been an incredibly terrible experience which has added to an already unfortunate situation. I would not recommend them as an insurance provider :(

The handling time is unreasonable to…

The handling time is unreasonable to say the least - 4-5 weeks is beyond anything acceptable. Staff does not respond in English, which should not be a big ask in a modern, well educated country like Sweden.
No response to a message enquiring what steps are taken to reduce the handling time.
Moderna is connected to my SAS credit card, but if it was my personal choice, I would definitely not go with them.

It is sad that you do not feel that you are satisfied with your case. Right now when it comes to getting answers in English, it is unfortunately the case that many automatic answers are in Swedish and I take it on to the right department to review it.

There are periods when there are many trips more than usual, for example over Easter, then the response time can take longer. One of my colleague will get back to you with a decision on the case.

Worst insurance company ever!

Worst insurance company ever!

Do not make any insurance with them!

Moderna Försäkringar hides behind email and automatic systems when you make your claim - not possible to talk to a person or get a contact number.

I had expensive items stolen from my autocamper and they refuse to take the pictures of the broken lock into consideration - They will not cover anything!

I will never use that company again!

Not a god experience with this…

Not a god experience with this insurance company. They cant find papers sent to them multiple times, takes forever and wants to ser tings that no other insurance company asks for. Never again!

Usually when you claim an damage, you always need to send us paper that can confirm the damage.
It was sad that you needed to send us the paper multiple time but when we don’t have the paper we need then we cant proceed your claim.

Very bad experience with luggage delay reimbursement

Very bad experience, they refused to cover my expenses due to delay in my luggage. I strongly advise not to buy any insurance through them, I had it with my Danske bank guld account which i will not renew.

NIce experience

Customer for 4 years already, satisfyed. Nice service, but I must admit that I hadn´t had any issues with my insured things or apartment, so I can´t talk about the procedures or insurance execution.

Still no resolution, they are simply just interested in your money but not willing to help when you need it.
