Demand Accountability Against Milton Keynes Council Children’s Social Care for threatening my family with Care Order proceedings instead of providing support for disability-related needs

I had a profoundly distressing experience with Milton Keynes Council Children’s Social Care. Instead of Providing Support to my family with genuine health, disability, and developmental needs, they escalated our situation unnecessarily and placed immense, unjustified blame on my parents.
Key areas of concern include:

Punished for Systemic Failures: My sibling required speech Therapy and I required mental health support. Rather than Providing Support to us for these local health services in the UK, the council initiated a Child Protection Plan and threatened Care Order proceedings and PLO. They treated clear medical and therapeutic needs as child protection issues.

Forced to Seek Help Independently: Because Milton Keynes Council Children’s Social Care were unable to provide the necessary support in the UK , my family was forced to travel abroad at great financial and emotional cost to secure treatment. Independent medical professionals confirmed that our needs were purely health-related and required medical intervention, not child protection escalation.

Religious Discrimination: I am deeply concerned by statements made in a report by my Social Worker and the Child Protection Chair, which labeled my lawful Hindu religious practices as a risk of "extremism." This raises serious questions about discrimination and bias within the department in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

Psychological Harm: An independent mental health assessment concluded that the council's conduct—including the pressure of their interventions and degrading treatment—caused serious psychological harm to my me.

Instead of supporting a family with disability and mental health needs, Milton Keynes Council Children’s Social Care caused severe distress and financial hardship. If local authorities cannot ensure timely therapy and mental health services, families should not be blamed and penalized for that lack of provision. I strongly urge a review of their discriminatory practices and their failure to differentiate between medical needs and neglect.

Well done Louise Johnson (. Benefits department)

After a wasted trip to the council offices. I then phoned the benefits department for assistance . And spoke to a very professional and extremely helpful young lady who's name is ms Louise Johnson who was a treat to deal with. It's nice to deal with somebody who has patience and wants to help in every way it made it pleasure to deal with . Well done Louise and many thanks. Warmest regards. Roger pelling

MK council is the worst

MK council is the worst, ideologically driven, care more about DEI and regulating their own feelings than sorting problems. They refuse to revamp dangerous zebra crossings where people can actually get hurt bad, pot holes everywhere, the city centre is full of crap, drug addicts and dangerously dirty people. But they don’t care and refuse to clean up the city for the majority of the pissed off residents! More new labour council feelings rather than pro active results on what people actually require and care about!

Does anybody work there? Nobody appears to answer the phone. I've been number 1 in the queue for the last half an hour. What are you doing about picking litter up in the MK area? The A5 needs addressing. Rubbish everywhere

Mk Connect

‘Mk Connect’ is the worst mode of transport by a mile, drivers are always arriving late. It will say pick up in 5 mins and then delay for another 10 mins. Absolutely Shocking service. It said pick up for 15:26 when i booked it, 15:57 and i’m still waiting… abysmal.

Labour run council to extort your money

Horrible people to deal with, tones of complaints about MK council found everywhere, I moved into my tiny one bed flat after my landlord ask to refurbish his flat where I was living,I put all the bills and bank statements into my name at my flat address but the council still refused to grant a single person discount after 12 documents were sent to them. It's their policy to refuse the discount to everybody no matter what documents you sent to them. They harass you asking for things like electoral register as if been in the electoral register is a proof that you physically lives there.The single person discount is what it is, they have no proof that there was anybody else living there, its illegal to deny people what it is their right to get, this is run by labour who extort your money to give it to drug dealers, criminals and people on benefits, MK council should be investigated for their illegal practices.

I went this morning to park my car at…

I went this morning to park my car at the city centre where there was free 3 hours parking! Shocking to see they all been gone everywhere! How greedy can they be? I was shocked. Did find somewhere to park and walked a bit! This is the city made for cars! Now before the holidays this is where the council will rip you off! Council tax is high enough to milk people for more money! In the last ten years I never paid parking and will never pay! In the end if people will come less to the city centre and shops will have to close maybe that will be a lesson to the very greedy council! It’s up to you people ! And think careful who you vote ! But yes they are all greedy! Disgusting.

please add a indoor skate park

please add a indoor skate park, there has been a partition for it but no one has noticed, Buckingham and Bletchley skate park does not cut it as there's always kids just running up and down the ramps thinking its slides or the kids who bring electric scooters, a indoor skate park would not on eliminate that but you can set a price like other indoor skate parks

Poor customer service

Bin not collected, made a complaint, was advised it was not put out which is a lie, look on website which says it was emptied which is a lie, I complained, had a response which is from a no reply email and customer service never put a name on the email so I don't know who I am dealing with and no accountability.
Raise another complaint they now class as a Service Request, who ever i have dealt with would not last 2 minutes in the private sector.

Absolutely diabolical customer service…

Absolutely diabolical customer service from a lady called Demona today, huffing and tutting down the phone to me because I was asking questions about how my council tax keeps fluctuating every month. Disgusting attitude with no attempt to help even after I asked to be transferred to her supervisor.. She told me this wasnt possible. Rude lady with no customer service skills

They have left my family in danger…

They have left my family in danger because of their reckless staff and jobs I own my house and they have damaged it in the process

Unless your not from the uk they will only help you

This is why there is so many problems thanks to them
Their lazy reckless dangerous they put your health at risk and children’s life in danger they only care for their pay pack and who is the best candidate for new development
These will be more frequent if this isn’t sorted

They can delete this but it will be on every platform in the uk

If this is not done I will find a bulldozer and knock the new houses
I want a call back in 2 hours

Council expect tenants to clear footpaths.

After waiting 6 months for the winter leaves to be cleaned from the footpath, and the mess left by the pavement repair lot to of course only replace one slab I cleaned the outside up myself.

Just so happened that one of those council wagons that are meant to be doing just my job drove past, and the female passenger shouted nice job. I turned around and said It's a shame that you didn't do It, I only waited 6 months for what you get paid to do and don't.

Absolutely do not care about the public

On the 6/02/2024 I travelled with my 3 young children to Glasgow by coach leaving luton at 2100hrs with a change of coach at milton Keynes next coach being at 00.40 we arrived at milton Keynes bus station to find we would need to wait outside for the 3 hour wait for the next coach the bus station closes over night with no access of the use of a toilet or even anywhere to sit myself and my 3 children age 6,10 and 14 was left to wait outside in -1 temperature and put in a really unsafe situation knowing this station is used for coach transfers with service user waiting for 3+ hours is totally inhumane and shows that this council do not care about people when I asked a bus driver that was on his way into a the bus station through a code locked side door if there was a toilet my child could use he was like NOPE in a completely cocky way absoultly discussed that this is how they treat people
