Our tour of the Houses of Parliament…

Our tour of the Houses of Parliament was absolutely outstanding, thanks to our guide Nick. It also happened to be his birthday on March 6th, which made the day even more memorable!

Nick was incredibly knowledgeable and explained the history and traditions of Parliament in a way that was clear, engaging, and often very funny. His humour and enthusiasm really brought the building to life and kept everyone interested throughout the tour.

I’ve been on many guided tours over the years, but this was genuinely the best guided tour of my life. Nick made the experience both informative and entertaining, and I would highly recommend the tour to anyone visiting London.

The UK Dentistry Crisis

Why isn't more being done for dentistry with regard to NHS patients? Oral health is critical in it's own right but the lack of dental oversight is leading to so many people losing teeth (including front teeth) which subsequently has a huge impact on mental health, thus costing the NHS more money having to sign people off work with severe depression and that's without the pharmaceutical cost of antidepressants!! The money being put into those things could be prevented if the money went into NHS dental instead!! I got a leaflet of dental costs from a local practice today and once I calculated everything I need, it's going to cost at the very least £5k!! That's a disgrace. I wonder if keir starmer and chums have ever had to deal with losing teeth and ultimately the pain due to the abscesses the losses cause? Did any of them basically have to "put up and shut up" I highly doubt it. I'm sure their dental problems are fixed either on the very same day or the next at longest. Obviously this is why we're in this state because people like him have no idea what this kind of suffering feels like, making the issue quite low on the agenda (if on the agenda at all!!) It comes down to YOU not making the NHS dental packages high enough to cover the naturally high standard of treatment that all dentists want to be able to perform so there is a massive lack of morale in the industry as many NHS Dentists are dissatisfied with their work due to the financial limits they have to stay within. As a result many dentists are leaving the industry all together and moving into completely different sectors so the next crisis we face isn't just 'not enough money from the government' it's going to be 'a total shortage of dentists country wide'. Instead of sending so much money to Ukraine, knowing that there is no alliance from any other EU country anymore anyway (thanks to Brexit) we're supposed to be independent now, that money should be going into our NHS instead. The EU want the UK to fail, it's not in their interests for us to flourish because other countries could then follow suit and also leave the EU so it's about time we started to realise we really are on our own, meaning our money should be spent on our own country!! I have been especially shocked to hear that the immigrants coming over by the 1000's many of them illegally are receiving high priority dental care for free and it's the same for criminals in our prisons, someone I know who was locked up recently is now happy as Larry having lost a front tooth before going to prison & couldn't find a single NHS Dentist to help him, yet after just 6 weeks into his prison sentence he's had all the work done for free including a denture for the missing tooth!! So what message is that sending to the rest of us? It seems if you break the law you can get free dental care. I honestly never thought I'd see the day that our country would become such a shambles. I was once proud to be British, now I'm just embarrassed. More needs to be done for NHS dental and fast, it's also up there with the top reasons for people committing suicide! How can parliament sleep at night. It's barbarian yet you still raise taxes. What a joke you all are. At this point I'd rather be ruled by the monarchy, I genuinely feel they are far less heartless than politicians who are more interested in giving themselves high bonuses, claiming money back on their luxury family holidays & skimming off the top of any money put into all sectors to pocket for themselves. All the time we're ruled by greedy & control obsessed government officials we can only expect this situation to worsen. I really think you should be ashamed of yourselves, the rest of the world look down on you for the way you treat us, the ones born here, us, who pay into the system yet we're the ones at the back of the queue for everything. You haven't got the first clue about real suffering while you chill out in your massive houses to match your massive bank accounts!! I call on kier starmer to live one month in a rented room (the only thing most young to middle age single men can afford if lucky) and to live on universal credit. During this time (under an alias name) I challenge him to get himself registered with an NHS Dentist and even a GP practice to see first hand the REAL STRUGGLE out here because with your current privileged life it's the only way to get the real problems we're all facing through your thick skull.

John O Grady MP Glasgow East

John O Grady MP Glasgow East
I wrote to my MP wishing to discuss a sensitive matter and wished to speak to him at his constituency office
The response was as directed by police and House of Commons staff he was advised not to reveal where his office was located for security reason
I checked his expenses and he does run a office all the mod cons phones computers etc all monies well and duly claimed
I with support of others would like to petition the removal of this man from office as he is representing Glasgow East from an unknown office paid for by public purse he should wise up and do his bit for the electorate

Peace & power.

Our country's getting like all these other countries with just dictators who are bully's. Don't listening to the general public. Spend money on themselves an what they want. Like stupid military equipment that just causes harm to the general public of the countries. When are we going to stand together all walks of life and say enough is enough. There's more of us than them guys. It can be peaceful but power in numbers. John Lennon spoke about power & peace.

Zero stars for an institution paid to do a job and so far failed miserably in every single aspect. The recent decisions of this institution affected and in some cases destroyed families. In UK the gov institutions can't be hold accountable for their actions due to the faulty law. We are heading to country collapse soon if things don't emprove fast. Aspects that need urgent attention: NHS, Police, Public Transport, Jobs, Pay Rates, Benefits, Taxes, etc, etc......

It is time Parliament held our MP’s to account

This country is in an almighty mess and I do think it’s time Parliament changed some rules and look at ways to hold MP’s to account. Removing the whip from an MP who abandons his constituents and accepts £400,000 to clear off to the Australian outback for weeks on end is not punishment enough. Hancock will still receive his MP’s salary, whip or no whip. It’s wrong. Parliament need to take stock to ensure this kind of thing is simply not allowed. Parliament also need to re-visit the terms in which former Prime Ministers automatically receive £115,000 per annum for life. In the light of Liz Truss and her 44 days of chaos which resulted in economic disaster it seems immoral she should be rewarded for the carnage she caused. Everyone in this country is suffering right now and some MP’s seem to be rubbing salt into our wounds. It is also time MP’s were held to account about their behaviour at PMQ’s. The British public should not be subjected to this televised pantomime every Wednesday. These are difficult times and watching grown men and woman hurl insults at each does nothing to help the constituents they serve. Nor does scrolling down their phones rather than listening to what is being said. Normal people would not be allowed to sit scrolling through their phones in a business meeting. People with manners would not even consider doing so. I can only conclude our MP’s have no manners and hold us all in contempt. We all, whichever party we support, deserve better than this.
