I switched to this firm at the end of January after getting nowhere for two months with my previous solicitors.

Mohammed Kassem took over mid-transaction on a leasehold, so not the easiest starting point and with a tight deadline to complete by the end of March.

We completed within the original timeline, which honestly wouldn’t have happened without the switch. Mohammed was great throughout - I’d definitely recommend.

Very streamlined, great & timely customer service

I am a Taiwanese, and I'm a first time buyer. Mohammed has been really patient and supportive throughout the process. There are many professional terms I don't understand, but he is always willing to explain further if I raised any questions. Me and my parents deeply appreciated all of his hard work.

Truly grateful for Mohammed’s support during throughout the purchase of my first home. His efforts and communication through the process was reassuring, totally stress free and pleasant, ensuring everything completed smoothly and as fast as possible . Would absolutely recommend and use again in future. Thanks for everything.

We hired them for property purchase in Harrow on the hill. From the beginning itself, after we have paid the initial fees to them, we have started seeing their lackluster attitude in replying to our queries and appropriately addressing them. Especially, Mohammed Kassem, the guy has never responded us in right team or given suitable responses.
As things were not progressing at the required pace, we requested that he follow up daily with the third party's solicitors, given that we were rapidly approaching the deadline. Nevertheless, he either did not action this, or if he did, he neglected to keep us in the loop, resulting in us always having to pursue the information ourselves.
And now when the property is no longer available for sale as seller withdrawn at the last moment, we are trying to understand from him how can we further utilise the money that we already paid to them but there is no response.

My uncle died nearly 8 years ago no will and some money in Ireland. Yes there are around 20 beneficiaries, but to date we are still waiting for payment. We have been passed through 4 solicitors (one of them twice) sending letters to wrong name but the correct address. It’s been a constant battle with them. Three times we have been told the money is ready to be shared out this never happened. They were going to share the English funds while waiting for the Irish money to come then they changed their mind again.
I would not recommend them to anyone!!

I would give this firm -1 star if I could, especially because of David Ford, an extremely arrogant and unprofessional solicitor at Mills Chody.

When I purchased my flat years ago, I reminded him about the lease extension that was meant to be included with the purchase. He dismissed me and arrogantly stated that he IS an experienced solicitor and I didn’t need to remind him. Yet at completion, he realised he had made a mistake. The other partners at the firm had to get involved to resolve the issue. I should have reported it to the Law Society at the time!

More recently, I had to contact him again about the lease extension and he didn’t even have the courtesy to reply. I honestly don’t understand how such a despicable solicitor is still practising. People like me pay thousands of pounds for their services, yet we’re treated this way. It was truly shocking service from awful people.

Avoid this firm, this man!

My father recently redrafted his Will as it came to light that the current version did not reflect his wishes. This has later been attributed to the coercive and controlling behaviour of a step family member. He bravely stood up to that individual, only for Mills Chody not to execute the new Will completely, by handing it back to the coercive step family member to get the Will signed. The individual deliberately invalidated the Will by not following correct procedures, then challenged the Will on those grounds. It is an absolute catastrophic betrayal of trust. Do not use this firm.

Mills Chody have been great in gaining us a satisfactory outcome whilst taking our freeholder and managing agent to court over extortionate fees, I am continuing to use them and feel confident in recommending their services. Andreas in particular who has been our point of contact. The communication is also noteworthy as it has been great throughout.

The defendant stated that Mills Chody were his solicitors. Only after two months, many letters from my solicitor and a lot of expenses did they eventually acknowledge that they were not instructed. They wasted a lot of time and money unnecessarily.

This firm will drag out your legal situation to extract extortionate fees and then issue a county court Judgement case for fees to ruin you, if you question their charges , adding a 8% interest and daily fees. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM . Warning if only I can help anyone from being destroyed by this money hungry soul destroying firm. Please go else where for legal help.

I recently completed the transaction with the Kenton Road Branch using one of the partners. The sale almost did not complete after we exchanged so we would have been held liable for all the costs associated with the entire chain.

The solicitor who is also the partner spent his entire time emailing questions, and problems around. Never made any phone calls to chase down things. He failed to act and advise on a critical change and ultimately almost single handily cause the sale to fail on completion day and spent his time blaming the lender, us and other solicitor rather than taking responsibility and making the sale happen.

I would strongly advise against this firm.

If you think solicitors are just after your money by stringing out the legal process, these are the Kings of doing so. Just amending a lease with these guys took 9 months. DO NOT USE THEM if you value your time and your money.
