Most expensive trainers I have ever bought. Walked regularly through fields and dry mud trails from Spring to Autumn 2025 (UK). They have been very comfortable and supportive. Was thinking about buyin... See more

Extremely Disappointed - Moab 3 Shoes NOT Waterproof!
I purchased a pair of Merrell Moab 3 Hiking shoes less than a year ago. Didn't wear them much through the summer months as I had bought them as a waterproof option in the autumn / winter. Now that I'm wearing them in rainy / wet conditions (mostly just walking our dog), my feet get wet just by walking on wet grass.
Really annoyed about this as I spent a lot of money on them for this purpose.
They’re actually very comfortable, but bought them specifically as they were waterproof - very disappointed and angry!
Was going to buy a pair for my wife, but that’s put paid to that!
Purchased them on Amazon, placed a negative Review with them in October 25, but no response.
Where is true customer care / service nowadays?!
Too much on line customer service for my liking
A poor experience……and I never even got the chance to try the shoes.
Why a company uses the logistic courier, Evri I really don’t know. They are notorious at not caring for parcels and that is what happened to mine. They were left in the green bin which was subsequently emptied.
But trying to contact Merrell was not easy. When I finally did, the customer service was helpful but limited. I wanted/needed the shoes and requested they send me another pair. They declined to do this. Instead a refund was given and I was expected to re order by starting the process from the beginning. All I wanted was my new pair of shoes, but it all became too complicated. Until Merrell have a customer service phone number I won’t be using them again
Custer service, whats that!!
Bought a pair of Merrells for my daughters Christmas present on 22Nov25, not delivered and despite three emails and the contact number not working i haven't heard anything about these. Really really poor service. I then ordered another pair asking not too be sent via Evri, paid extra. It's been sent by Evri.
Shocking customer service!totally…
Shocking customer service!totally useless website! They've cancelled my order twice even though their site said items were in stock, wouldn't recommend and if their trainers are as good as the customer service I certainly won't use or attempt to buy from them again!
Merrell boots falling apart
My gortex Merrell walking boots which I have had a few years but probably only worn 2 dozen times for walking the dog in wet weather are now falling to pieces. I paid over £100 and am bitterly disappointed. Will not be buying another pair.
Good shoes, do not give them your email!
My last pair of MOABs(first gen) were great, the new pair(3rd gen) seemed to improve a reasonable bit, but are too new to speak on durability yet. The first one's outsoles are still kicking and still fully adhered to the shoes, albeit completely flat with a bit of a chunk missing from one...however the insoles lasted nowhere near as long, ended up using Keen insoles to replace them(much cheaper and last long).
The reason I knocked off 3 stars is because of their obnoxious amount of spam emails and the fact that they will not unsubscribe you from their newsletters. It's about as bad as Best Buy was about unsubscribing people. Plus I think I just deleted 6 or more black friday emails from my spam folder from them, WE GOT THE MESSAGE, ALL OF THEM!
Seriously, if you take one thing away from this, use an email alias service that allows you to block senders instead of your actual email.
terrible quality and customer service
I have worn these boots for years, as I have bad feet and they help the most. I just bought a brand new pair, and after 2 days the eye hook for the laces broke. I called customer service and said hey...She was rude! and told me next time I have a problem, go online and report it. Next time? fix your quality and check your customer service.
Merrell strike 2 mens gortex boot
Merrell strike 2 mens gortex boot, wore for first long walk in the lake district and they were leaking within a few minutes. The inside of one boot was absolutely soaking.
Considering I have only used the boot on a few occasions and in dry conditions I was surprised how badly they performed in the rain and on wet ground.
Good grip but no use when they leak like a sieve.
Will return to shop & see what they say.
merrell Moab3 NOT WATERPROOF
I bought a pair of merrell Moab 3 walking shoes. Whilst the fit is good and the toebox reasonably wide they are not waterproof at all. My feet are wet through and the shoes took 2 days to dry.
Discount Code Expires in 60 Seconds!
I visited 'merrell.com' and ordered a pair of men's 'training' shoes. Merrell emailed a discount code, (SAVE20), entered the code but when I proceeded to 'check out' the code disappeared. When I re-entered the code, was informed the 'this code is expired'. All of this happened in less than 60 seconds!
Merrell fixed MY mistake at no cost to me.
Merrell fixed my mistake at no cost to me.
We needed new boots for late fall mountain hiking, and I made the mistake of ordering the wrong size. Merrell paid for the return freight of the incorrect boots, replaced them, and paid the FedEx shipping to send the correct boots to me as quickly as possible. Their return policies are top notch, the process was extremely smooth, and the results of their efforts earn them my total appreciation.
The correct new boots fit quite well, they are light and comfortable, and their quality is great. I’m completely convinced that MERRELL is now my shoe supplier of choice.
THANKS MERRELL for fixing MY mistake – you have a customer for life !!!
It’s not the shoe it the shipping.
I have lost count on the number of Jungle Moc’s I have purchased from Merrell, it was and still is my favorite shoe. The problem with Merrell for me isn’t the quality of their product but their choice of delivery service FedEx. We as a customer are reduced to a second class citizens dealing with this bumbling shell of a once respected and dependable company. My new policy is never purchase any product from any company that ships with FedEx. Sorry Merrell you’ve lost a regular costumer.
Poor customer service.
Merrell used to offer high-quality products and good customer service. Recently, I ordered a fleece and tried to cancel it within minutes of placing the order. Merrell said they could not. They said to return it, but I would lose the shipping fee. I did a PayPal dispute and got a full refund.
Merrell hiking shoes
Lace loop ripped on my Moab speed gtx hiking shoes making them impossible to tighten.
Customer service not interested as outside of warranty.
Faulty product or bad design—either way they should have acknowledged and replaced or at least offered a significant discount on a new pair.
Poor customer service.
Deleted my response to a question on…
Deleted my response to a question on their website stating that no items ever got delivered after taking my money
Customer service is also terrible as they dont respond
They also use Evri as a delivery service so your items will never be delivered
Customer service non existent
Customer service non existent, and quality so poor that two of the same tops, in the same size were two very different sizes.
Merrell Moab 3 Mid height wide walking boots
I bought a pair of Merrell Moab 3 Mid height wide walking boots. They were made of very poor quality materials and fell apart after six months use. The stitching on the toe caps went first, the thread is not all all durable, and then the material that strengthened the mesh delaminated and fell apart. Although claimed to be Gortex lined, the boots were not waterproof. If your purpose is anything other than walking along a footpath, do not buy these shoes.
Shoes seem reasonable so far but we…
Shoes seem reasonable so far but we will see.
i was charged 75 pounds but the invoice/shipping advice read 62 pound so i believe i was overcharged. sent them an email --- No response. Shame
Horrible service
Horrible service. We bought a pair of shoes and 2 months later the sole came off… has never happened before.
They would not replace! Horrible… we will be no longer buying Merrell!
Poor customer service and 50% Poor quality
Bought a pair of hiking shoes. The right shoe fits really well, supportive and waterproof. The left shoe has a low arch and is not waterproof. I contacted Merrel customer service, but I was told to contact the store that I bought them from. Not very helpful. Really disappointed
