Shoes came clearly faulty and the return process was a little convoluted to say the least - difficult to get the photos to the size required on the online form, plus the usual wait to get a reply, as well as the standard offer of a partial refund on something unwearable!
UPDATE. As already stated the return process wasn't simple - they wanted many pictures of all angles of the shoe to the right size as required on the website, plus the page kept refreshing, so had to do it multiple times!
I also have an email asking if I would like a PARTIAL refund or return, so no idea why this is disputed by the retailer ??
UPDATE yet again - now asking for 'proof' of email like I am not being honest? ! Avoid.

I am sorry to hear there was an issue with your order.
I have looked into this and can see we received an email from you with some details of the issue and images on 2nd July 2026 at 19:06pm. I can see we responded to your email on 3rd July at 7:44am asking if you would prefer a refund or replacement for the order. I am a little confused as no discount was offered to keep the shoes, as the item was agreed as faulty, we would not offer a partial refund where the item cannot be worn. Following your response the same day requesting a refund, we sent a pre-paid returns label the same day so you could return the shoes to us free of charge for a full refund. This refund was processed on 07-07-2026 following the items return.
We are really sorry about the issue with your purchase and the inconvenience caused.

Thank you for the update to your review. I have double checked all correspondence and have been unable to locate any email offering a partial refund? I responded to the original form apologising for the issue and asking if you would prefer a replacement or refund to which you responded the occasion had passed so could you have a refund. My colleague then sent a returns label for the item to be returned to us for a full refund at no cost. If possible could you please forward a copy of the email offering a partial refund so we can investigate this further?
I am sorry you had issues with using the contact form and image sizing, I can see we received it 3 times I have fed this back to the team who will look into the refreshing issue. To explain, unfortunately we need restrict image size to receive the messages but try to be as generous on sizing as possible for most phone image size saving. The 4 images we request on the form do mean we can give a full response to queries without needing to ask for further information.
I hope this helps to explain and I am sorry to hear the return experience was not as easy for you as it could have been due to the refreshing issue.

Good prices, quality product, return process was ok
I bought two pairs of the same hiking boot in different sizes to try at home. The price of the boots was very competative and i think cheaper than anywhere else.
They arrived promptly and were acceptably packaged.
I returned the pair which were too big. The return cost about £4.99, which I was aware of before purchasing. Return process was OK, not as slick at the user end of the Web pages, but it was OK and they are not a huge company. The return was swiftly acknowledged and refunded in a few days.
Overall, I was happy with the service.
Would be better if: no return postage ( but price of product is competitive and you can't have everything); online return process could be slicker.
