We are Marshfield Farm Ice Cream. We’ve been creating a whole host of award-winning flavours on our family farm in the South West of England for over 35 years. Our flavours are inspired by British classics, with a few surprises in the line up too. From creamy to crunchy, fruity to fudgy, we believe we have something to make the whole family happy – even the dog! One Family, One Farm, One Herd of Happy Cows Three generations of The Hawking family have been farming the land we love for over 50 years. Our cows spend most of the year outdoors, free to roam on our pastures which we farm using sustainable, regenerative techniques to increase biodiversity and reduce our carbon footprint. We only ever use our own milk in our ice cream, which moves only meters to our ice creamery where it is combined with the best quality ingredients and churned into our delicious ice cream.

You cancelled the order as apparently you can't ship to Ireland, but I live in Scotland which was pointed out, but you just refunded it anyway and I have ordered several times before so I'm not sure what the problem is. I have emailed, but no response as yet, needed the Ice Cream for last week. Please get in touch

I love Marshfield ice cream but the new spoons
I love Marshfield ice cream, particularly when we go to Bath Theatre, it is our interval treat. However what have you done to the spoons. The new cardboard are rubbish, they bend so easily and become unusable before you get half way through. Another couple were also complaining. Bring back wood!

After lots of testing (and a fair few melty mishaps!), we’ve made the decision to move our 1-litre tubs from cardboard to plastic. We’ve done everything we can to stick with cardboard, it works brilliantly for 500ml tubs, but sadly, it just can’t cope with holding 1 litre of ice cream.
We were seeing lots of waste from damaged plastic lids, caused by dented and misshapen cardboard tubs. It was causing more harm than good, and we knew we needed a sturdier solution.
Our new tubs are made from PP plastic, which is tough, keeps your scoops safe, and is highly recyclable when recycled correctly.

When it was delivered the parcel was left in our blue bin with no message through the door and no one knocked. I know this because I watched the delivery through my front room window. If I hadn't seen the delivery the goods would have been ruined

Appalling customer service
Updated - this was eventually resolved so I’ve updated the rating.
Firstly, I love the ice cream, as do my dogs. My issue is with the home delivery and customer service experience. I ordered some dog ice cream and a tub for me, the delivery guidelines said there was 30 hours of transit time available with the dry ice. There was no option to schedule delivery so unfortunately I was at work when the delivery arrived. My neighbour took it in and put it somewhere cool but by the time I arrived home 6 hours later it was liquid. Theoretically with a next day delivery service this should still be within the 30 hours. Customer service have since ignored 3 emails, and the phone line simply tells you to email. Disappointing.
