I had the most brilliant service in M&S Meadows
I had the most brilliant service in M&S Camberley, Meadows today from Ryley and a new Manager in the food hall (sorry did not get his name), as well as Sue in the office. They helped me track down a lost gift card, that I thought was finished, and then realised I had money still on it. They all went above and beyond and I am super grateful to them all and can’t thank them enough. Absolutely fab service 🤩

Meal to Share Cottage Pie
Just tried a Meal to Share Cottage Pie cooked as per instructions in an ordinary oven. YUK - reminded us of school diners in the 60's. Avoid.
Is it really that difficult to wrap…
Is it really that difficult to wrap your delicious uncut loaves of bread? You seem to manage fine with the sliced. Nobody wants bread that has been contaminated by unhygienic members of the public.

Flowers and Prosecco ordered for a friend. Order form on line pre-filled recipients address with my own! Flowers & Prosecco delivered to my door instead of recipients, on a day when I was away and in 29 degrees heat! Flowers mouldy & in poor condition when unwrapped. Will never order flowers from M&S again.

I travel all the way from Bolton to Trafford Centre just to buy fresh shortbread from the Bakery, I can literally see them so I ask for a pack only to be told that they are not allowed to sell them until the following day, sort it out M&S
machine order at cafe.
Having just visited the M & S cafe in Cribbs Causeway, Bristol I was disgusted to see how it is now like a McDonalds with machines to input our order and no option to order at the counter. In fact even McDonalds give one that option. It certainly felt like eating in a cheap eatery and not in what used to be a valued cafe. E are from the North East and perish the thought of the same happening there. it is not the standard I expect from M & S. Whoever is coming up with these ideas is ruining your reputation.
Marks and Spencer out Coates pudsey
Marks and Spencer out Coates pudsey
I arrived at 13:20 and the belt in the self service wasn’t working , I mentioned to the woman at the next til were my mother was being served by her . She came across and tried her best , still wasn’t working
But don’t you think of putting a out of order sign up than looking at me like I’m thick and don’t get me wrong another staff member moved the items down for me on the belt great
But have some consideration and place a out of order sign on there common sense incase the next person experience the same thing
But the woman is so eager to finish her shift which she had mentioned , not empressed I’ve shopped there many years ago, and not experienced this I no technology does fail but please use a out of order sign

I am really hoping to catch Marks and Spencer’s eye with this review.
Why is it, that your trousers are cut with such a ridiculously long length from the point of the crutch to the top of the waistband?
This goes for all the trousers but it’s particularly bad on your wide leg pull-ons. I am 5’9” and every single pair I recently ordered- your own make plus Fatface and White stuff- the waist band sits nicely- UNDER MY ARMPITS.

I had a gift voucher bought for me in April 2026. It was a birthday present. Went to use the £20 today. Apprently this was used on the 5th May 2026 online. I have never bought anything online from M&S.
I phoned customer service up to explain the situation but they just kept on telling me I had spent the amount.
M&S seem to be having a lot of problems when it comes to their gift vouchers being used fraudulently. I will be informing action fraud on Monday morning.
Ordered present for Father’s Day 8 days…
Ordered present for Father’s Day 8 days before Father’s Day and then they cancelled it ON FATHERS DAY!😡😡😡😡😡😡 not happy I don’t know wether I will use this service again I’ve heard Waitrose are much better on the delivery’s and don’t leave people high and dry!
And then they had the cheek to send me a 20% off voucher and a review HOW DID WE DO?
Clowns for customer service staff
Clowns for customer service staff. Use AI to write their email and still cannot get a clear point across.
Instead of using AI to automate your English language skills, perhaps ask AI to also put together a critically thought out response which will actually serve the needs of the person on the end of receiving the email. But no…none of the staff engaged were more than empty vessels of uselessness, utilising less than a vending machines worth of brain function.
Correspondence all via email and each email, took 24hours to respond to. Wonderful. No, none of my issues were resolved.
Called to donegal place store first…
Called to donegal place store first thing to purchase a few pieces of dinnerware.
First problem was the tills on the third floor were homeware is located were closed, despite the whole store being open. The one visible member of staff filling out on the floor made no attempt to help, resulting in the fact I had to make my way to the ground floor to pay for my items, then when I asked the most disinterested member of staff hovering around the till area if I could have my items bubble wrapped he looked at me blankly then proceeds to offer me tissue paper... When I prompted him as to why I wasn't able to pay in the home dept, where I assume bubble wrap would have been available he simply shurged because apparently its standard M&S practice to not have tills open during store opening hours!?
All in all an extremely disappointing experience and what's worse is it isn't the first and the attitude from the staff needs a lot of work.
V unhappy.
Just purchased and eaten my last M&S meal deal. £15 for 6 meatballs and 2 small plates of chips. Didn't even taste great. Put a chefs name on it and charge big appears to be the marketing strategy. Haven't got to dessert yet but it's 2 lemon buns. Never again.
In my opinion M&S Quality is Rubbish tasteless and disgusting
In my opinion, M&S has become corporate greed at its worst when it comes to food pricing. I used to regularly buy its ready-cooked barbecue chicken. It was £4.60 last year; in 2025 it rose to £8.50, and today it is an astonishing £11.50.
That is an increase far beyond inflation, yet the barbecue coating now seems cheaper and virtually tasteless. This is what happens when corporate penny-pinching takes over: profit becomes the priority and quality goes straight out of the window.
Ensh*fication of shopping experience.
I went to buy and try on bras. The one I wanted to try was one of a three pack. The three bras were attached to each other so that to try on one, you would have two other bras dangling off you! The assistant was 'not allowed' to break the tie. Apart from finding it impossible to assess the fit with two other garments attached, as an older woman who's none too dextrous it seems ableist to present customers with a web of interconnected elastic which would give an octopus pause for thought. Next time I'll shop elsewhere or take nail scissors!

I shop at this particular Marks & Spencer‘s all the time I bought some shorts but when I got home I realised they were the wrong size. The label had come off so I put it in the pocket back in the Marks & Spencer‘s bag and took it back. I wasn’t given the receipt when I bought it. I asked if I could swap them. I didn’t have the receipt and the label had fallen out but I could prove on my bank statement that had shopped there. I only wanted to swap them for a different size but they refused. I won’t shop here again.
Poor service and patronising
Complained via e mail this week due to their cashier in the food hall in Kings Lynn snapping his fingers in front of an elderly ladies face saying wake up wake up.
The member of staff in the vicinity chose to ignore ,
When I went to self service and told said to the lady supervising the tills I wanted to make a complaint and told her what had happened she said it’s dealt with I’ve told him not to do it again. Save also then asked me if I’d scanned two greeting cards that had dropped to the floor, I showed her on the till screen they had been scanned but she was still rude , looked in my bag and scanned one card again just to be sure!
Upon offering feedback customer service advisor Ryan e mailed and acknowledgement and platitudes.
Clearly CCTV not looked at , not
Followed up before they emailed back and I’m told yes ‘our staff are enthusiastic about finding products that scan incorrectly’
So basically don’t complain, you’ll be patronised and made to feel like a thief.
I wrote back asking for follow up and was surprised to receive a text
Tonight asking if my issue had been resolved today during the call , guess what no call!
M&S you embarrass yourselves - you used to be the standard other companies aspired to.
What happened?
Anyway …. Look forward to a real phone call !
