I ve rented drom MALCO in Valencia after having some awful experiences with other companies. Malco are straightforward with no tricks and underhandedness. Full insurance is included in the price so no angst. Pick up and drop off are unconventional and you need to keep a look out for the malco guy but I trust this company and will always use them when available.

We hired the car from 10.30 to 18.00. €46.44 was the charge for this period along with €150 deposit charge. We refueled to the amount that was in it before leaving the car back at 18.00. When finalising the hiring another charge of €59.12 was added. There was no mention of this charge when hiring the car. According to the App it said NO HIDDEN CHARGES!. When Malco were phoned about this they said we didn't have to refuel the car and the instructions were inside the vehicle. They will return the cost of refuelling in 5 to 10 days but not the extra €59.12 hidden cost, which should be advised about on the App. We hired the vehicle for a specific time to use, not to be sitting inside it reading instructions! Especially in 24° heat.

I used the services of Malco over Easter and I was really impressed with the service that I got. I landed at 1am in the morning, returning the car at 4am later in the week and even at these unsocial hours the delivery of the vehicle and collection was faultless. No hassle with the deposit, returned within 24 hours. Thanks Malco Team !!

Second time of using Malco Car Hire.
First was an excellent experience.
Second not quite so good.
Have lost part of my deposit due to not returning the vehicle with a full tank of fuel. The vehicle wasn’t full when I picked it up.Also the car wasn’t very clean.
My advice is just take a few extra minutes on your journey.
Take photos of anything you’re not happy with.
Unfortunately I didn’t.

To drop off you have to call a number 20 mins before to meet at the airport. They do not have a stall with a representative anywhere. We called a number provided to us, that number was unavailable. We went on the website and found the number for the corresponding airport and called them. They also didn't answer. We eventually had to get a list of numbers from the 3rd party website to give us a list of numbers to try. This was all on our way to the airport as the drive was longer than 30 minutes. After us stressing for 20+ minutes trying to find a number where someone answers we ended up parking at the airport while we found the number where someone picks up. As at this point we were already at the airport, the representative was very rude, and while we were trying to explain the situation would unhelpfully tell us that "this is not the number" even though we called the number provided on the sheet they gave us and a number displayed on their website. In the end we had to pay for parking at the airport because we had been there for too long waiting for someone to arrive, and after they threatened keeping my deposit. Also I'm pretty sure that as soon as we left they provided that same car to the next client who had just landed while we were leaving, without any checking of the car. Although the car was fine during the trip, the whole experience was pretty shady.

Second time we use MALCO (previously in Alicante airport). Great communication. As we travelled with bicycles meet&greet service was great. Definetelly first choice car hire next time too.

Everything was ok - the car has been delivered to the meeting point at the airport and collected from the same place as well. Car was ok, no problems with it. The deposit has been returned to my account on the next day. Thank you! In my opinion the company is trusty and the service is worth its price. Instructions to arrive to the meeting point should be more exact, ie a map. The car was delivered in a hurry at the express parking area, minimum or no time to check the car.

All in all renting went fine.

This was the first time I have used Malco and it won't be the last, It was one of the best and simplest car rentals I have ever had.
Picking up and returning the car at the airport couldn't have been easier. Great communication. The car was excellent. Full Insurance built into the price which meant both piece of mind and no time wasting admin. Full to full fuel policy also simplified things. Great price and value for money.

Yet another car from malco car hire the best car hire company I have used a simple pick up very clean car no hassle for insurance unlike inside the airport would definitely recommend

Everything worked well! It was a nice clean car (t-cross). We will use them next time we hire a car. They payed back the deposit in time.

Pick up was a bit of a hassle, after phoning I waited for 30-40 minutes with no car delivered, I then noticed someone with Malco on their hi vis jacket, I spoke to him and was told I could wait for delivery of a car or come back to the office with them. I was told there was a few planes arrived early so they were caught out. Plus side, car was clean , the one I ordered, full tank, the drop off was efficient as within 2 minutes someone met me, fuel deposit returned same day.

Everything was perfekt and the car was very good. Top car rental !

Pleasant experience to get the car, car was ready and I was able to transfer to home with minimum delay!

Car was clean, pick up and drop off was ok. However the km reading on the cars meter was very different from what the paperwork said, so DO check this before accepting.
Otherwise ok
